A big THANK YOU to Discount. I took my truck to Big O off of 66, and I was told I needed new tires/ could potentially face a blow out. Discount took time to really look and said I still had life on the existing tires. It is good to know that there are still mechanics in town that are looking to help more than an easy sale. When these tires do hit their expiration, this will be the first place I come to! The mechanic even sent us home with a tread depth measuring device to help keep a close eye on the wear. These guys are fantastic! We came in with a 2014 Rav 4 that desperately needed 4 new tires and a strange warranty that the other Discount Tire location in town had never heard of and didn't bother to look up. The guys here on Milton looked into the strange warranty even though they had to call up a tire company. Not only were they willing to go out of their way for us, they offered us a warranty on the tires that we ended up buying there. A friend of ours recommended this Discount Tire location because she had a hookup here and knew that the guys are very willing to work with you and she wasn't kidding! I highly recommend this Discount Tire for all your tire needs! They do free air pressure checks and repairs for tires. They sell rims and a variety of tire brands. I was visiting from out of state and discovered that I had a nail in my tire. I checked my my phone, had a few choices and was glad that I went here. I was able to use my phone to check in and was greeted by Connor in less than a minute. He was patient, knowledgeable and made me feel like I was in good hands. He explained how they were the same company from where I was from, and was able find me a tire just in case. I went to the near by cafe (Lone Spur which was awesome btw) and before my food arrived I received a text that my car was ready. Last winter I am driving in Flagstaff, we are 7,000 feet above sea level here in Flagstaff and things can change with the weather at the drop of a dime. I have to stop suddenly and I'm skidding, I check and my tires are bald!!! So I happen upon Discount Tires: I walk in and the place is some what busy, and shortly I'm greeted by a gentleman who check the tread on my tires and we begin to discuss my driving habits, the mileage and condition of my truck and the VAST selection of tires they have to address my tire situation. Mean while I can smell the complementary popcorn in the back ground and I'm hungry, the distinctive squill of the air impact wrenches are going full tilt. The gentleman and I narrow the selection of tires ( did I mention it was VAST) down to three brands of tires and I eventually settle on a set that is by far the cheapest in Flagstaff. Fast forward to this past Saturday; I'm watching the golf channel and my phone lights up, I have a email from Discount that reminds me of a free tire rotation and allows me to schedule the appointment. I show up today and get the same high quality customer service. The place is clean a little noisy and it is usually busy. Excellent service from Discount Tire! My husband and I traveled in a rental from Vegas to Flagstaff. As soon as we arrived into town our tire pressure light went on and we quickly found we had a flat tire. Luckily we were .2 miles away from Discount Tire. We immediately called them and they were able to take us in right away despite closing in 45 minutes and having multiple other customers. Each worker was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were having tire problems while traveling through Arizona back to Texas. I called this Discount Tire store ten minutes before they closed while we were 30 minutes away. Ron told us to go ahead and come on in. We got here after they were already closed but finishing up their last customers. Everyone was very professional and had positive attitudes! Waited over 30 minutes for my "appointment" in which I was assured could be done in a timely manner - during my lunch break. It was not.

I had a flat tire, often when I go to tire shops or anything having to do with cars the guys like to up charge or add services because I don't have much experience with cars... it can be very frustrating, but it did not happen here! They were super busy, but quickly got me on the list and checked out my tire within 5 minutes. I worked with a gentleman named Mason who was super friendly and fast. Despite being extremely busy they fixed my flat tire with NO CHARGE and didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need. My tire was patched and put back on my car in less than 5min... quick, fast and efficient! They had great customer service and I would recommend them highly! read more

On the morning of June 4th, I had driven in from Phoenix AZ to Flagstaff to go camping with my daughter. On the drive up to about midway to Flagstaff, my car dashboard light indicated the rear tire was low in air. I stopped and filled the tire with air. When I arrived in Flagstaff the dashboard light again indicated my tire was low in air. We had planned to leave out early for camping but did not want to take a chance that something was worst with the tire than a misfunctioning indicator light. So, I went to the Discount Tire garage in Flagstaff and noted my tire problem and plans to go camping to the representative who was very accommodating and practicing social distancing. Seeing how busy the garage was I expected a long wait, but the professional staff worked quickly. The representative was clear in what they would do and what options may be available to solve the issue. After only 40 minutes the representative noted that they could not fix the tire with a sealant because there was a nail in the sidewall. I was in no position to pay for a brand new tire. To my surprise, they replaced my tire with a used tire without charging me. I have always had good service with Discount Tire in different locations and your company continues to exceed my expectations. Got a flat on the way back from Sliderock and needed a repair before heading back to San Diego the next day. Brought the van in the next morning and got there 30mins before they opened to beat the crowd. When they opened the rep said that they didn't have my tire but if it couldn't be patched they would give me a loaner wheel to make it back to San Diego safely and get the work done at the Discount tire there. Got out to the front to talk about replacing the tire and i just didn't have the $...as I walked away wondering what to do one of the workers came up and said they would give me a new tire for free! I'm surprised to see such high ratings for this discount tire. Over the years I've been left no choice but to head inside and buy tires here due to emergency repairs and replacements. Not many options in our small town. I always find myself being talked down to as if I know nothing, and they know everything. I do my homework and research before every tire purchase. I do run a different size tire than recommended from the OEM, however, they seem to push what they "think" is best. Here are a few examples of why I feel you should take your tire needs elsewhere; I bought Duralumin lug nuts that cost me $200.00. I asked them to please not use the air tools to remove and install them. Yes it's a little overkill to pay that much, my car my money. Soon after they pulled my car in, I find myself running out to stop them from doing EXACTLY what I asked them not to! My car is also lowered, again not ideal, but they should be prepared for the lowered or lifted vehicles that come in at this point, right? Not a chance. Again I find myself headed out to the "employees only" area to stop the circus that I watched as they tried to pull my car onto different blocks sticks wrenches etc while not ripping off any body panels. I ended up telling them how to do it. So much for have a seat and relax in the waiting area. And this is absolutely the last straw; My wife needed new tires badly, we could only find her size at this location, reluctantly we headed in and bought them. Now her car is 100% stock, so if you think it was my modified car, think again. We got the car home and I started to replace her rear brake pads, only to find that not 1 not 2 but 3 of her lug nuts were cross threaded. So badly that all three were seized and had to be broken off and replaced. Really? This isn't nascar guys, you can take the time to hand thread the lugs first. This could have resulted in a very unsafe situation had they broken while driving. Or had she gotten a flat somewhere on the side of the road, there's no way it could have been fixed leaving her stranded. I've had nothing but bad service and bad attitude over the years. Whether it be a snarky remark, or someone revving my car as loud as they can while pulling it into the service bay. Not all of your customers need your opinion or advice. Some of us would like to come in, tell you what we want and get it. I'm never going back to either location and I'd highly recommend you take your car to the locally owned tire store. Don't go here. I took in a nearly new pickup truck tire for a simple patch job. The tire had a nail hole in the tread and should have been a standard fix. I dropped the tire off and stopped to pick up the tire on my way home. After waiting for service while employees milled about, I was attended to and told that the "tire was unrepairable" as the hole was "too big" and was handed back a dismounted tire and rim. Now, I was born at night, but I wasn't born last night, and I knew that this was nonsense. I took my tire to Anderson General Tire in town and they happily patched it for me. Discount Tire could have easily fixed the tire, but were unwilling. They want to sell you a new tire. Don't be duped by their shady business practices! If they tell you need a new tire, take it some place else. Or better yet, go some place else in the first place. read more

Excellent service and the nicest possible people. I'll admit I don't leave many reviews but this place is wonderful enough it's the very least I can do. All the employees are ultra-friendly and ultra-professional. They make sure you are taken care of. The place can get a little chaotic with lines and ringing phones and stuff, but there's a reason everyone goes there, because they are simply the best. The best part is, generally you pay extra for such professional service, but in this case Discount Tire's prices seem very reasonable. Friendly, quick, helpful! Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either... Went here twice in two days during my road trip. First, I was going to have them re-balance my tires to squeeze a few more miles out of them. After they had them off the car, they saw that my tire wear was really bad, and thought balancing wouldn't help. They put them back on and sent me on my way with zero charges and free advice! Second time back, I decided to get new tires. They were super super quick, friendly, and despite not being the cheapest tires I've ever bought, I was happy with service. First, called to make an appointment and was told I had to make it online. Then made an appointment online for tire rotation specifically asked if I would be waiting or dropping off. I marked waiting and when I got there on time for my appointment was told it would be 45 minutes minimum likely longer. What is the point of an appointment if it will take this long for a simple tire rotation? Online should state length of time you'd be expected to wait if it's going to be that long. read more

Fantastic services. Discount tires has really been the gold standard in tire needs and essentials. I'm from Texas and I usually go in and go out from my local tire shops to get the works done and it's always just been a so so experience. I'm here on vacation in Flagstaff Arizona. Having a great time in this beautiful state. Me and the wife and friends went to a mountain side for hiking and on the way back we hit s nasty pothole, no thanks to the wife, after pulling all the lug nuts off we came to a stopped lug nut and well you know how that works. Anyway brought my car to discount tires and from the phone call to arriving at the store these fellas took great care of me. Fast efficient friendly and knows exactly what they're doing. Brian and Joshua helped me for this day and both were great. They were able to get the stripped lug off replace the tire and even check the torque on the rest of the lugs on my car to ensure this wouldn't happen again. Great service great people. It sucks when you experience anomalies while on vacation, but it's great when you have amazing people to help you out. read more

The Manager found a way to install 4 new snow tires because he wanted me to be SAFE -WOW! This never happens, most companies are greedy and try to take the customer for all they can get. Last Friday , May 24th, I was in Flagstaff and noticed a nail in my tire and a slow leak. It was about 5pm and I called the Milton Road store. I said I wouldn't get there until about 5:30 and asked if they could fit me in. (they close at 6) The guy was, very friendly and said as long as I was there by 6 they would take a look at it. It was a Holiday weekend and he was not dismissive at all. He was like, "bring it in now". I got there about 5:35 and they were super busy but the guy who helped me was super nice and awesome. They checked my tire and it had a hole, and they fixed it within about 45 minutes. The guy who fixed it was cool and explained the tire hole. All 3 of the employees who I dealt with were awesome.
