My daughter goes to school up in Flagstaff and drives a Mercedes, I called several different automotive mechanics in Flagstaff and they do not work on Mercedes but finally thank goodness found Apex Automotive to look at some noises coming from underneath her car. My first thought was CV joints or something difficult and expensive to fix on a Mercedes. Come to find out Apex Automotive is very honest and only found some underneath plastic protectors that had come loose and tightened everything up and only charged me one hour of labor. The ONLY mechanic I have ever brought my car to and have NOT had to bring my car back! (This is a very good thing). Every other place i have taken my car to have treated me like a moron and simply couldn't do the job right the first, second, or third time. Apex, on the other hand was quick, honest, and my car has never experienced the same issue since. If you have a mini cooper I highly recommend this place. Even if you're in phoenix it's worth the trip for the great service and honest employees. It can be pretty pricey though but you get what you pay for. read more

I've taken my car to the dealership where they overcharge and lie to you, I've taken my car to shops who have told me misleading information in regards to repairs, and I've taken my car to people who have no idea what they're doing, which lead to a blown motor. I had a check engine light for my emissions on my 2016 BMW X3 during our stay in Flagstaff. I called them to ask about this light that was coming on and off. They suggested bringing it in so that they could plug it in to see what was causing the alert. It turned out not to be an urgent problem and printed out what was detected so that I'll be able to have it checked out in Phoenix when I get back home. I was on a road trip from Ca to the east coast in our BMW when a drivetrain error message came on about an hour west of Flagstaff. It was Friday about 2 pm on a holiday weekend. The closest BMW dealer was in the Phoenix area. My wife started frantically googling and spoke to one shop, who said call APEX. Thankfully we did and although Matt was upfront that he couldn't fix it right away, he would certainly diagnose it. After about 5 minutes he determined the code emitted wouldn't leave me stranded and he was right as I made it across country with no issues and no other error messages. We stopped for a few days in Flagstaff to visit family on our way through to Iowa. Our car decided it needed an oil change and luckily Henry and the Apex Automotive team were able to fit us in before a major holiday. Matt spent upwards of an hour with my mom. She was certain the the cooling system in her new (to her) car was broken. Matt took the vehicle in to inspect it and wound up spending 45 minutes teaching her how it all works. There was no charge as there was nothing for him to fix- she just needed some time and attention. This inspired me to bring my oooold Volvo in for some routine maintenance. He was fair, patient with all of my questions and quick to get the job done. He showed me all of the parts that he replaced so I could see why they needed to be replaced.
