Discount tire is always known for quick and reliable service, while being exceptionally friendly. I recently moved back to the valley, and had to come here because I had a nail in my tire. This was probably the worst discount tire experience I've ever had. I made an appointment on the website for 8 AM, which is also the time that they opened. I got to the door at 7:58, and eight people, including me were waiting. They didn't ask if anybody had an appointment, they had the line based on who got their first, which I think is absurd especially if they say on their website and on posters in the store, say that you're gonna save time by making an appointment. I wasn't even able to check my car in until 825. What's the point of making an appointment, especially here, if they're not going to honor the time? I was told that I had to get a new tire due to the location of the nail, which means I had to replace another tire also. They didn't have my normal tires in stock, so I had to pay extra for the next best tire. I only got a $40 trade-in credit for my tire, but I know that I bought four new tires earlier this year, so I felt very ripped off, especially because all of my tires are in the green tread, Which was explained to me. Overall, had a very terrible experience, and I'm very disappointed. The guy who was assisting me, Liam, was very friendly and attentive, and he was doing a really good job of managing the line as best he could. A lot of people were very frustrated and angry, both when I dropped my car off, and when I came back to pick it up. Yeah, I'm just not feeling it with this location. The staff leaves a lot to be desired, and these 20 something year old boys feel like it's completely OK to toss out any random number they can for a cost, assuming women don't know what the average cost of tires is. I recently had one tire replaced there out of 100% necessity, but two weeks later took my business to, get this, another discount location 3 miles away, and paid $67 less per tire there! I have been coming to Discount for almost a decade. I am always taken care of, but this time was a standout. Kohlten assisted me and instead of the usual "good" service, I got outstanding service. I came in for a repair service, thinking it was just a slow leak, but it turned out I needed a replacement. News that no one wants to hear. Kohlten was kind, not pushy, and incredibly understanding. It wasn't a sales pitch, it was helping me leave with confidence and a sense of security. If I could scream to the world how good he was, I would. As a rideshare driver, I put A LOT of miles on my car. He took that into consideration and worked with me to ensure that I was safe. This location, and specifically this employee, is fantastic. Wow. This place has treated me beyond fairly. I bought a set of four tires for my car and one of them went flat within a day. I took it back and they replaced the tire right away. Again the tire went flat, and the assumption was my wheel was the issue. After buying a new wheel, discount once again replaced the tire and installed the wheel completely free. This location is filled with professionals and everyone is extremely friendly. Ben helped me out through the course of this tire and wheel fiasco, and boy is he a go getter! Super professional guy, extremely knowledgeable, and a real pleasure to work with. I can't say enough about him! The manager Henry runs a very tight crew over there. Getting ready to file a fraud complaint with the Arizona Attorney General. We stopped buying tires from you years ago because of the company's fraudulent practices. Went in today because i was across the street and needs a flat repaired. Was willing to pay the minimal repair cost. Dustin ... you will be the named manager. This time i have an hours worth of recordings of your staff coercing customers to buy a new tire when they only needed a repair. 4 customers before me. Then they did the same to me. After fighting to get my spare put on because my tire was "too damaged "....I got took my "bad" tire to another reputable company and they repaired the hole that was in the mid for the tread and said the tire was in good condition. I, as were all the 4 other customers, were told our repairs couldn't happen... Do not use this company! at one time, they were local and honest...now they are a scam factory. Time to end this fraud. NO discount tire customer service...i will not respond to you. i've reported you to the AZ attorney general for fraud stop lying to meet your commission goals. discussed with my hair dresser and several friends, they ALL have had similar experiences with you fraudulent company! read more

Don't take your vehicle here without taking pictures before! You WILL pick up your vehicle with something missing. Had tire pressure caps and hub caps stolen/missing. In addition my steering wheel and door handle are covered in black residue from the employees dirty ass gloves. Would not recommended to anyone. read more

Been coming here the past couple years since I moved and I'm super pleased with them. The men working the front are very friendly. I didn't get the names of the two that helped me but he was tall with glasses, blue eyes. The other brown hair brown eyes... they were just fantastic. (Should have gotten their names then right!?) my car is always in and out before the estimated time even! I have no problem bringing my kids there because it's pretty quick. I usually have a good experience with DT. However, they failed to notify me about losing parts for my rims! I religiously look over my truck for defects and issues to ensure it is safe and functional. I had them perform a tire rotation and balance. They ended up losing 2 metal valve stem caps and replaced 1 with a cheap plastic one. Additionally, they lost a screw that holds on my hub cap. If it was missing, they should have notified me BEFORE performing any maintenance on my vehicle. It's not even an expense thing because they can be replaced, more of a honesty and reliability issue. read more

I take back everything I previously said in my review from 4 years ago. They've really turned it around. I was recently faced with an emergency tire repair and being that this location is within easy walking distance, it was my only option. I contacted them late on a Monday, they were very busy and in their final hours of the day, but told me to come on in and they'd get it done. I made an appointment for tire rotation and I had a leak in my front tire Got there 10 minutes before my appointment at 12:30 watched other people come in with later appointment times, watched their cars being put into the bays to be worked on then finally at 1:00 my truck was taken into a bay and sat there for another 15 minutes with no one working on it. Someone started rotating the tires, they never fixed the tire leak, just rotated it to the back. The tire was 38psi when I left discount and by the time I got to happy valley it was 33psi. Thanks discount for the wasted time. Won't be returning to this location!!! Got up this morning and my tire is completely flat so yeah they didn't do their job and what makes me so pissed is that it wasn't even going flat until I took it to them to fix. read more

I made an appointment for a flat repair, something I know physically takes 10 minutes, and I waited for over an hour. The person in line in front of me did not make an appointment (I may have overheard their conversation), and their car was out ahead of mine. Not saying I should get to cut in front of everyone, but what is the point in making an appointment if I get out at the same time? When I used to work at discount tire, appointments needed by completed within 25 minutes of being checked in. I have never seen cars sit in the bay as long as I have at this place. I don't know why I didn't know this, but I've purchased at least 6 sets of tires from this specific Discount tire and I didn't know that tire Rotation was free! Now I don't know if that is a standard practice or if they saw the $10,000 in tires I've purchased from them in the past 3 years and decided that they would rotates them for free, but it doesn't matter to me! I had my tires rotated and I went to pay and they told me there was no charge. I am so happy with Discount Tire! Here's another benefit to Discount Tire. I won't go into the specifics but I was in Seattle last summer and I had a tire problem but did not have a lot of time!
