These guys were great. They fixed the valve stems on our Chrysler 300 for about $50. We wish we had taken it in sooner. We got new tires a year ago at the dealership and thought that would fix the slow leak issue but it didn't. Discount tire got us in and fixed up within a few hours and for much less than we expected! So I've been having problems with my 2 driver side tires for a month or so, didnt know what it was. So I went to Belle tire only to find out that i needed two tires. I didn't want to buy tires from there but it was pressured on me to do all four I felt like. So I did plus I was tired of my tires losing air. Well I bought tires and it didn't help the leaking. So my friend said something about customer service at the keystone location DCT so I Decided to go to discount tire for the problems. Well only to find out it was my wheels. They had really bad corrosion and the gentleman told me that's what was creating my slow leaky tires. He offered to take me out back and show me. I believed him but I went anyways. Very Nice, and was always smiling, He showed me the wheels explained what it was. Gave me a few solutions but recommend the only way to really fix the leaks was replacing them. We went over options my original wheels were outrageously expensive. Julian showed me other options that were much better in price and honestly looked better. Julian helped me he was very knowledgable and patient with me. Julian helped me make my decision and I felt good about it. Thank you discount tire on keystone Julian and the entire store was great. I had called ahead to check on if my tires were still under warranty. Was told they had a lifetime warranty on tread. One tire was flat and I'd been driving on the rim for 2 months, so needed to get it replaced. I get there and the guy tells me they all need to be replaced and it is over $500. He checks the tires and admits the tread is worn, but apparently not exactly covered by mileage warranty. So, I tell him, besides the flat tire, the others are low and maybe have issues too. Can you check those while you have it? Also, I have a new rim in the backseat since I drove too far on the flat. An hour later... I pick up the car, notice only that tire had been changed looked right, none of the others were rotated or even the tire pressure checked and they didn't use the new rim. It was still in the backseat. I've been a customer for 20+ years, but this will be my last visit. I had to come back to have them swap out the rim and then they STILL did not check tire pressure or other tires for issues...;I went through the free air line and was told "this back tire is really low, I'd have it checked out". I'm like, I've been here for over an hour and no one bothered to check it. Once I get tax refund, will go elsewhere to have them all replaced. And, I plan on returning this one tire to boot. Who sends a customer out without checking tire pressure on other tires? read more

Never go to to Discount Tires on North Keystone.. Had four new tires put on,only to find out they were not aligned right when out on and the tread was not wearing evenly.. How do you do something for a living where people's lives depend on it and you screw it up.. Thankfully my awesome car dealership caught the issue and rotated my tires properly.. I normally do not write reviews because I understand mistakes happen but in this situation I did everything right on my end and Discount Tire didn't follow through on their end. I called to make an appointment for the following day for 12:30pm. I believe I spoke to John who asked for my last name and phone number so he could put me in the computer system to schedule me for the said appointment. John confirmed my spot for the following day, but when I arrived at my appointment the employee told me I was not in the system nor did I have an appointment. He also told me that the 12:30pm spot was already taken but if I have a seat they can get me in ASAP...the parking lot was packed and I got the last spot so I knew I would be waiting forever. I was shocked to hear this so I pulled up my call log and asked if the number I had dialed was the correct location and the employee said yes. The reason I make an appointment is because I don't have time to wait around and the staff didn't bother to apologize for the inconvenience. Customer service goes a long way and I will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed. read more

Bad experience. I walked in to price tires and there were well over a hundred bucks more than walmart (which is accross the street) for two tires. They offered to price match from Walmart where I had gotten an original quote. 95 bucks with $12 balance and installation for each. They matched the Walmart price for two Goodyear tires. I got home and saw they charged me full price for two cheaper quality ohtsu tires and put them on instead. I'll be calling tomorrow and will post my results For now, I'd go somewhere else. read more

I had a very good experience here on Monday. I had gotten a screw stuck in my tire, and looked online and saw Discount Tire would repair your tire, so I went ahead and booked an appointment to come in online (nice feature!!). I arrived a few minutes early and checked in. They inspected my car and it was put into queue for repair. I should mention at this point I had my infant son with me as well, who was a bit fussy. The manager (I think) called my name to come check out, realized my situation and came to me to discuss the repair, and when my car would be fixed up. I was previously unaware, but they will repair your tire for free! That was such wonderful news to hear! A few minutes later, the nice gentleman pulled my car up, opened up both my door and the door for the baby carrier (very appreciative of that!) and we were on our way. I will definitively give our new tire business to this place as they were very professional, quoted accurate wait times, and treated me with such kindness and respect. Thanks so much!! read more

Prompt and courteous service. They offer free air and free tire check up. They also fix your tire if you need this service. You can call for appointment and you just show first time first served. The wait can be around 90 minutes for this. I will definitely go back to this place if I am in the market for new tires. read more

Guys did me a solid today, and I'll be back anytime I need it. I had a slow leak in a tire, and dropped it off at 8a on a Sat. They got to it quickly, and found that I had picked up a screw. Since this location recently opened I've gone in twice: the first to buy a new set of tires, which was fine, and a second trip for a repair which was horrible. I stopped by in late March with a leaking tire which I'd put a cheap, auto store rope plug into the week before. The plug in the middle of the tread worked for a few days but then started to leak. John was helpful at first and said they'd have the tire fixed shortly and there would be no charge. Great! John comes back a few minutes later to say that they found leak but the tire was not repairable due to DOT regulations about the plug style used and how that plug type bends and breaks the steel cords inside the tire compromising it which makes the tire unusable. I wasn't born in the basement and this story didn't sound right, so I said thank you for looking at my car and I'll see you later. John responds that I can't leave without installing a new tire and they didn't have a matching tire in stock so I'd need to purchase a new tire, they'd put on a temporary tire and I could come back in a couple days to swap out the temporary. I called several local tire stores and was told by every single one that the whole "unrepairable per DOT" story from Discount Tire was a complete lie only told to sell me to a new tire. What they did was especially shady: they took the wheel off the car, found the plug, removed the tire from wheel, pulled the plug out, then refused to put it back together, effectively trapping me by refusing to reassemble my car! At several steps they could have refused the repair and I'd have left with no issue before they fully disassembled my car, but they chose the lowest road possible. An Indypendent tire store on 62nd and Keystone fixed me up with none of the deceit or attempted upselling. I can only assume that these shady business practices are how this Discount Tire store operates and I would never send my wife here for fear of her being treated the same way or worse. read more
