I've been a fan of Belle Tire since they arrived in the Indianapolis market. Up to this point, I've primarily dealt with the Castleton location. However, this particular spot is actually closer to my home and I knew today it was going to be closer to where I needed to do some other errands. Belle Tire was founded in Detroit in 1922. The name comes from founder Sam Waze naming the company after his wife (I'll let you guess her name). Belle Tire is fairly new in the Indianapolis region having arrived from 2016-2020. Around 30 locations are noted in the Indianapolis region including a Whitestown, Indiana training facility. Belle has sports partnerships with Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Blackhawks. Belle is historically known for strong customer service and relationship building. The stores are also historically customer friendly a clean, comfortable waiting area that includes a computer kiosk, vending machine, coffee, and a unisex restroom that is also wheelchair friendly. With most auto repair places, accessibility is an afterthought. Belle has often gained my business because of its commitment to accessibility. This was my first visit to this location. It seems just a bit smaller than Castleton, though not by much. There are two accessible parking spots up front. I'd actually ordered my tires and paid online and set my appointment mid-week so that I could come in on Saturday morning. I arrived quite a bit early, however, I was able to get served pretty quickly. Business was steady but not what I would call busy. I like the option of paying online. While it doesn't quite eliminate the attempted upsell, it reduces the pressure since I'd already paid. As I pulled up here, I was a bit irritated to see two trucks blocking the accessible parking area. I was able to squeeze in, however, one of the two spots was completely blocked. That's unacceptable. However, I did get parked and did have a clear path to the curb cut. In most of my visits to Belle, someone greets me at the door. However, in this case one person was serving a customer and the other was on the phone. The employees were friendly and helpful. My reservation was identified and my tires were ready and available. I was a little nervous ordering online, however, it worked just fine and the tires were appropriate. I also was pleased that there was no issue regarding payment since I'd paid online. I was able to relax in the waiting area, though the store was a touch chilly. At one point, I think they finally addressed that. My set of tires was ready within about an hour. It was a reasonable time and I was completely fine with it. They did recommend a front alignment, though I opted to hold off to see how it drove. I also had an experience that made me not want to spend additional cash here. A person drove up in what was obviously a quite nice car and he was obviously a friend of the place as both people working the counter went out to look at the car. That's fine (and it was quick). However, he parked (illegally) in one of the accessible parking spots and I was a bit bothered the employees didn't detour this. I think it was especially noteworthy since a disabled customer was in the building. Fortunately, he didn't stay long but considering the spots had been blocked when I arrived this really indicated a casual attitude about accessibility. This, in turn, directly lost them the sale of an alignment. It also is why I'm dropping a star here. I will give kudos, however, that the person who worked on my car parked it right next to the curb cut when he was done. I'm amazed how often this doesn't happen and I end up struggling to get in my car. So, bravo for that. That said, most other aspects of this experience were fine. I'd say this location is a notch below Castleton. However, my general impression of Belle is that it remains one of the more customer friendly companies related to autos in the area. Since Belle came to town, I haven't even thought about Firestone. Would I come back? Probably. However, to be honest I'll likely head back up to Castleton as it's simply a better experience and the devotion to accessibility when I've visited has been strong. This was a good but not great visit. However, between the successful online interaction, the quality tires, and the overall friendliness I still have to go 4 stars. I also got my eligible rebates and they were explained well including the one I thought I was eligible for but actually wasn't. A little tweaking and this could easily be a 5 star location. This place is very unprofessional upon arriving I stood there for 5 minutes while the man ant the desk stayed on the phone I called and they told me they were accepting walk ins. I got there at 1:30 and at 3:45 after I sat for multiple hours the employee came and told me they wont have time to look at my car. I had hit a horrible stretch of road on shadeland and Pendleton pike and it blew out 3 of my 4 run flat tires! Thankfully I was able to drive home safely. The next day I went to Belle Tire and was told my car could be fixed be the afternoon. I later found out I had 2 cracked rims! Thankfully they were able to get the rims repaired and tires mounted by the next day and my wheel insurance covered everything. I did have a small problem because their prices were higher than a competitor and the competition offered buy 3 get the 4th free and they didn't but they did honor their price matching and I was able to get the same deal and I drove away a happy customer! read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience at Belle Tire. My family has been loyal to this company for a while but I can't say we will be in the future. I live in Atlanta; a city without Belle Tire. Back in December I had to replace a tire. I should've replaced all four at the time but I didn't. I only replaced one. I came to Belle tire to replace the other three. Big mistake. In the morning I called to make sure they had availability to look at my car. They had time but they didn't have tires to match. Brittany ordered three tires that were similar to my 4th that I wasn't replacing. I dropped my car off around 10 AM. Brittany was fantastic in her customer service. Around noon I get a call saying that the tires arrived and asked if I wanted to schedule and appointment. THEY DIDNT KNOW MY CAR WAS THERE. This was the first red flag. I thought it was funny at the time but looking back I should've just picked my car up right then. I specifically said which tire was to stay on; back left. However, Belle Tire kept the back right tire on. The called to tell me my car was ready with this mistake. It is obvious which tire was good and which ones were bad. One tire is 4 months old when the rest are 4 year. The tread is obviously different. This is where I question the competency of Belle Tire. Tire is in the name but not on the brain. Why would this replacement of a new tire ever make sense. Also, if common sense isn't possible, JUST READ THE DIRECTIONS. I clearly said back left tire which Tyson, the assisant manager read back to me when I questioned it. I would probably give this transaction 4 stars if they had just placed my good tire back on but that is far from what happened. Belle Tire had already disposed of the tire but as a "courtesy was going to put a new tire on for free." Ha. Wait what? I already paid for the tire back in Atlanta. It was not free. I purchased warranty and everything. Now I'm "getting it for free?" NO. This is ridiculous. The audacity Belle Tire has to offer me this "free" tire on their mistake. They are gaslighting me to think they are doing me a solid. There was immediate push back on my dismay saying that's all that could be done. When I asked to speak the the manager a discount suddenly became available. However the discount barely covers the lost warranty on my previous tire. Belle Tire didn't have a fourth tire to match my three new ones but they had something in stock that would work. Weird. This morning Brittany had to special order tires to match but now they have something that will match? They have something that will fit my car but does not match the type of the other tires. Brittany's hard this morning is undermined by her coworkers. I finally go to pick up my car. I go to pay and ask to decline the Belle Tire warranty. Fat chance I'm coming back to Belle Tire but more importantly there are not Belle Tires in Atlanta. The warranty does not serve me any use. Even if this day had been perfect I would've declined this coverage. I have an in depth conversation about this with Tyson. Apparently Belle Tire is venturing into Texas. I pay. I recieve my discount (which really only covers my lost warranty not the incompetence). When examining my receipt I see that I have been charged with alignment warranty. EXCUSE ME? I just had a 10 minute conversation with Tyson how I don't want warranties because there aren't Belle Tires in Georgia. I'm floored. This is the difference between three stars and 1 star. Why would this type of service ever be okay? Tyson was a really nice guy. I enjoyed talking to him but Belle Tire seriously screwed up yesterday. I have a family of 4 all with cars. That is 16 tires that I will be replacing elsewhere from now on. Sorry Belle. Get your head in the game. read more

I was a little hesitant on bringing my truck to a "chain" tire service shop. After checking in, Jared got my truck on the lift, took some time to thoroughly look through my steering and he took it for a test drive. He came into the waiting room and personally brought me out to the bay to show me all of the steering components that were in need of replacement. Jared is super professional and knows what he's doing. He is legit. After receiving the quote, David and Jared assured me the truck would be back in service within a day. I dropped the truck off at 8:00am the following business day and by 8:00pm, 12 hours later, both Jared and Dave and were still at it to make sure my truck was perfect before letting me have it back. ***Please note that my truck needed extensive front end work done to include new tires, tie rods, upper control arms, ball joints, as well as other major steering components***. I super appreciate these two gentlemen because they put in a long day on my truck and it now drives like it's brand new. These guys are the real deal and it was money well spent. I'm super happy and will be coming back with any issues that may happen with all of my vehicles. Ask for Jared and/or Dave and you won't be disappointed. These people have the worst customer service I've seen in many many years. They screw things up, then don't want to make it right, then you make an appointment and they keep you waiting for past your appointment time. And then they have the nerve to tell you that the appointment is not guaranteed. Do not waste your time here. You're better off paying more money somewhere else. Their customer service ranks below Amazon and below Walmart. Yes it isn't that bad. And the fact that they make mistakes that they don't want to correct is even more upsetting. That star is hopefully for the oil change that they did right I'm not even sure about that time will tell. I wouldn't recommend this place for anything short of a plug tire and oil change and maybe some new tires or tire rotation that would be about it! first of all they lied said they did a diagnostic check which they did not do they only checked the battery and came up with the conclusion that it was the battery so I let them replace the battery and do an oil change only to have my car stall out on me twice yesterday. I went there March 15 but before I went I called and asked them and they said they were equipped and able to do what I needed to have them do but in fact they don't know anything about having to program/register the new battery in a newer model Mercedes. So I end up calling them twice yesterday even had a Mercedes company that works on my car but weren't available at the time that I needed service to call Belle tire on my behalf to explain a step that they missed know if it's an alternator or another problem they should have been able to diagnostically check it and see what it was but they neglected to do so. They said they've never heard of that so they want me to come back over for a diagnostic check that they're going to charge me for so I refuse to go back over these and deal with these basic amateurs for anything other than plugging a tire and a possible oil change is debatable! there are too many other places that I can go to for those simple task. So $422 later the battery doesn't even look new it looks like the same battery that was in there dusty dirty. I don't know where they store these things but it doesn't look new and it may not be! maybe they just put a charge on it and stuck it right back in the car how do I know? I do know this I am a female 66 yrs old and I do understand bait and switch tactics they got me in and fed me a line and flat out lied to my face about a diagnostic check when the only item they checked was the battery. I do know I'm not a fool and I also know that I am going to be referring to my lawyer and I want my money back for the battery they can have the oil change but I want to be reimbursed I do know that I have to go now have it serviced somewhere else to either program the battery or figure out why the car stalls when it's idle. If it's the alternator and they have done a check they could've told me that so I don't recommend belle tire for anything! how could I when they blatantly lie in your face. I would've felt better if they said no we can't do the work on your car than lying say you and say you did something you didn't do. read more

They put 4 new tires on 20 year old steel rims that had holes clean threw the rim. How unsafe that was ! They put profit over public SAFETY ! These holes go completely threw the rims. I really wanted to like these guys since they are so close by. Good price on an oil change too. They just opened shop out here on Pendleton Pike and we were very excited to learn that they did oil changes! My fiance and my dad took my Subaru to get an oil change here. We went on our road trip honeymoon the following Monday and halfway to Florida, we smell oil burning. It's raining, it sucks. We pull over and my new husband checks the oil level. It low on oil. What the hell???? So we purchase the correct oil, a bit miffed because that's $13 extra. It turned out that they did not tighten the drain bolt when they did the oil change. Over the next 2200 miles, we used the entire quart of oil and by the time we got back, it was low again. We explained what the issue was and Kate asked us to bring the car back into the same location. So we took it back there. I have not had issues with my oil before. My husband is the one that went. I am glad I did not because I would have lost my mind. They cleaned the splattered oil under the car and topped off the oil in the car. Then they handed us an estimate for a supposed oil leak that we magically got to the tune of $376. Funny how I didn't have any leaks before you changed the oil in my vehicle. All I have to say is DO NOT go here. I see what I see. Before I went there my car was fine. After an oil change, I suddenly had an oil leak. Is this the type of place that will sabotage your car and then give you an estimate for work? I don't know but I got an estimate for work in my hand. Belle Tires, You just lost a customer with 3 vehicles and a review that will alert others to your shady dealings. It is a pity, we really hoped we found a gem, but it ended up being a dud. read more

Put new tie rod ends on my truck, scheduled an appointment for an alignment, they got it done quick. Four stars instead of five due to minimal experience working with them and the slip-in sales of a 12 month plan. They have a 30 day guarantee on the alignment but tried hard to sell me a 12mo plan... "just in case It needs another alignment later, you can come in a get an alignment any time you want". Wait, what? Obviously their way of increasing revenue, as they initially just went ahead and added it to my bill without asking. I called it out, got the details and I asked them to remove it. Had I not checked/asked I would have paid for it. Otherwise the alignment showed just barely in spec range according to the paperwork they provided me. Friendly service, make an appointment, and check your bill. Two outta three ain't bad, so four stars. read more

Only to find out the car was still pulling to the right as before. I immediately went back, and tried 3 different times to fix the problem. Per my conversation with the technician- "the alignment machine sometimes doesn't work". At that point I asked for a refund. If you are looking for a 5 hour oil change and to waste your day. Belle tire is always a life saver for me. A few months ago, my boyfriend got his tire patched here. No pushing him to buy a new one, they just fixed him up free of charge. This last week, I needed some help and Belle Tire was my go to because I knew how trustworthy this shop is. About a year ago, I made the silly mistake of buying aluminum valve caps which ended up rusting to my valves! My tire pressure was low and I couldn't get them off no matter what I tried. There was a bit of a wait because of how many people were there that day (nearly a full parking lot!), but they got me in as quickly as they could and they saved the day. They got the bad caps off and replaced them with plastic ones. All the staff I talked to from check in to check out were very nice and a big help. I'm grateful for everyone here. Thank you Belle Tire. I recommend checking them out. Whether you need new tires or you just need help with a small task, Belle Tire. (They're also the only business I know of that offers so many free services too. He got me scheduled same day and recommended the tire that best fit my budget. He explained an alignment issue that I wasn't even aware of to help prevent issues in the future. This place has great customer service. I got a key in my tire after 7pm on a Monday night. We saw this was the only tire place open late that evening. They fix my current tire free of charge and got us on our way that evening. The place was clean and everyone was friendly. The best experience I have had a car repair shop. I would be willing to drive out of my way to go back there in the future. read more

On Saturday, 7/30/2022, we found out that our front driver brake line had ruptured. We called this location as soon as they opened to verify that they could perform the service we needed done and they confirmed they could. We had our vehicle towed in at approximately 12pm on 7/30. They could not service the vehicle that day, due to being swamped with other vehicles ahead of ours and since they are not open on Sunday, we had to wait till Monday 8/1 to get an update. My husband called this location soon after opening on 8/1 and was told our vehicle hadn't yet been touched, but should be handled soon. We called again around noon, and was told our vehicle was going onto the lift to be examined at that point. About an hour and a half later, we called again for an update (since we are a one car family, and we needed our vehicle back asap) and was told the vehicle was still waiting to be inspected. They told us to wait for them to call us at that point, so we did. We finally received a call from them about 4 hours later, around 5:30pm, and were informed the car had been looked at and the driver front brake line had ruptured (just like we told them Saturday morning) and they gave us the estimate for the replacement. We signed off on the estimate over the phone and they told us they would be checking for the part or sending a staff member to get the part as soon as they could. We heard nothing from them for the rest of the night. Come Tuesday, 8/2, my husband was called at 1pm and informed that the service had been completed and the car was ready to be picked up. My husband had to wait until after work to get the vehicle, and they thankfully agreed to stay open an extra 15 minutes so we could get the car before closing. When my husband arrived, he found that the car had been broken into and all of the contents of our glove box and center console had been pulled out and thrown all over the front seats of our vehicle. This had to have happened after the service was complete, as a sunscreen bottle was found jammed under the gas pedal when my husband arrived. There was no damage to the windows or exterior of the car, so our vehicle was left unsecured in their parking lot after the service was completed. Police were called, but they can't do anything, since there was no property damage or obvious theft found. We are still working with this location on an investigation as to how this could have happened, but we will not be bringing our car back to this location after this. I would recommend anyone who comes to this location to be very cautious about leaving your vehicle with them and definitely remove any important or sensitive items before entrusting your vehicle with them. read more

Wow, WHAT A JOKE IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD. I called to see if I could get my brakes checked. Katie said to come on in and they would look at it. When we arrived Katie said it would be one and half to two hours. I was fine with this. Two hours and 40 min later I walked up to the counter. As of this moment no one in this time had come over to check on us, tell us there was a delay or apologize for the extra time. I understand this was a free service. What I don't understand is the lack of customer service. I have been in customer service for 35 years. I have given the same customer service to the to the person buying a 25 cent pack of gum or a $500 patio set. Only when I come to collect my keys do they offer to pull my car in. Obviously you have serious training issues here. If Katie is your manager here...WOW. There are other tire shops on Pendleton Pike. I am sure one of them will be able to serve the public read more
