Our car was badly damaged in a recent hail storm in August. Our insurance company (Farmers Insurance) worked directly with Carstar, which made the whole interaction very easy. They fixed every dent with Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) and did such a terrific job that it is impossible to tell that there was any damage on the car, or that any liners or panels were removed in the process. Not only was the repair job exceptional, but they washed the exterior and apparently detailed the interior during the service! Our car is the cleanest that it has been since we bought it new. The total repair (and detail) was complete in 3 business days. They started Monday morning and I got a call first thing Thursday morning that it was done... which was much faster than I had expected. J.K. dealt with us, and he was professional, straight shooting and a delight to do business with. I'm a perfectionist and hardly take my vehicles anywhere to have work on them other than tires.. but this repair was way out of my wheelhouse. I scrutinized the work done and was thrilled. It is very difficult to meet my perfectionist expectations. Carstar not only met them, but exceeded them! I would not hesitate to take my car back to them for any type of body work. While I was there, there was a car in their back lot that caught my attention... I asked J.K. if I could take a closer look. The car itself was nothing too special, but what I thought was a paint job was exceptional. J.K. quickly explained that it wasn't a paint job, but a wrap! I couldn't believe it! Even close up and touching it, I couldn't tell it was a wrap! It wasn't until J.K. opened a door to show where the wrap ended that it was evident that it was a wrap. I was astonished! I called to ask for advice, and the team were super helpful and talked me through exactly what I needed to do in order to try and get things working - even though at that stage I wasn't a customer as my system was installed years ago in another state. Once I managed to get the vehicle drivable I went straight to their location, and they took the time to put the vehicle in valet mode for me and talked me through the possible error causes. In the end the fob was the culprit, and they ordered me a new one and paired it for me for no extra charge when it arrived. I bought a used 2016 Storm 28ms Fleetwood from Clay's rv in Salt Lake in August 2024. It has been a…read morenightmare. The initial title work they provided was defective and took months and many threats to get ownership issues resolved. The batteries were all bad as well as the converter which had to be replaced. The unit had been used by Clay's family and the holding tanks were full of .... The tires were 9 years old and also needed replaced. The cab was detached from the chassis which I did not discover until later when I had a chance to use it after all of the required repairs had been completed.
