Awesome and more than expected treatment. I was driving from Arvada to Loveland and had a blowout on I-25 close to Hwy 119 by Longmont. Waiting for AAA to arrive I shopped for tires and knew tires I wanted and in stock at Longmont Discount Tire. I arrived and they were able to get me right in. Issue was my car has center hub caps on wheels that have been on car since I bought it several years ago. When I arrived home that evening I only had three center hubs so checked others and one was loose and was damaged internally. Contacted store manager and they ordered replacement center hubs from Audi with full cooperation. I was expecting less. I was very impressed in the service and response to my issue. read more

How can you not like Discount Tire? They can get practically any tire made. They'll match any advertised price. They'll mount and balance quickly. They'll rotate tires for free. They'll fix flats for free (assuming your flat isn't from running over a "stop-stick"). A guy will spend large amounts of time trying to figure out which hard to find tire will fit my truck. This location sucks my daughter went here with her two kids needing to repair a tire , they were rude and treated her badly , they said her tire couldn't be repaired , and charged her 21 dollars for installation when the tire had not even been installed on the car. DAMAGED MY CAR! SO MAD!! After google searching the process of filing a complaint with discount tire, the endless links to people detailing their nightmare experience trying to get Discount tire to take responsibility for rushing my tire change & damaging my car I already have a headache! I went in this location (@4-430pm) to get my front tire that blew out replaced (put on a spare myself second it went flat) I ended up getting both front tires replaced and even paid for the premium higher quality more expensive tire option in hopes they would take good care of my baby (my car) Around 730-745pm (yes it took them that long) it was pitch black outside and was so relieved to go home I didn't notice it at first, but in the morning first thing I recognized from how bad it stood out was how the rims of both the tires they changed were destroyed/scratched/color chipped off. Remind you, I didn't have cheap after stock black rims or stock rims painted with cheap paint or even expensive Plasti dip, the rims are custom black rims made BY Infinity and are Infiniti rims that are not painted black but actual material rims are made out of is black itself, THATS HOW BADLY they damaged my rims while rushing changing 2 tires...they didn't chip paint they chipped solid metal! I checked the back 2 Tired in which they had not replaced the tires or done any service on they only changed my front 2 tires. The Tired they didn't touch are still perfectly all black flushed with zero scratches or chips (if they try and say that's a coincidence I'll have a melt down lol). Idk if they just rushed it cause they wanted to go home or if they were lazy about it, BUT IM SO SO SO MAD AND IM PRSYING THEY ACCEPT THEIR MISTAKE AND MAKE IT EIGHT/FOX THEM!! You can't just put cheap paint or Plasti dip over these rims...they're custom stock premium rims FROM Infiniti (I have a Infiniti G35) and the rims need to be replaced all together in order to fix this ugly ugly eye sore obvious mistake!! I included a pic of both front tires (first 2 pics) followed by close ups of the damage (showing how obvious it is AND how un-carefu they were changing my tires, that's not chipped paint that's chipped rim!), and then I included a photo of the rims on my back tire, which is the 2 tires they didn't change in the hopes that anyone reading this (and HOPEFULLY SOMEONE AT DISCOUNT TIRE) can see exactly what I'm talking about and can see beyond a reasonable doubt that they damaged the rims while replacing the front 2 tires, especially since the back 2 tire's rims (like I said last pic is the back one) are not chipped or scratched and look exactly how they should and how the front ones USE TO LOOK BEFORE I TOOK IT INTO DISCOUNT TIRE TO FET MY TORES REPLACED! If the apparent damage done by then isn't recognized or they deny how obviously much it's their fault (or try and claim a wolverine attacked just my car's front 2 tire's lol wouldn't be surprised based on what I read) I'm gonna be livid and I don't care if I have to not drive my car another mile from the second I noticed them the day after so I can take them to court, I-AM-NOT-PAYING-800 DOLLARS-PER-RIM-BECAUSE-OF-LAZINESS-AND-NEGLECT!! read more

Went in for a repair on a flat tire. Salesman agreed that there was plenty of tread on the tire but said the tire was "too old" to repair. Claimed that CDOT regulations prevented the repair. Well there are no such CDOT regulations. If they have a policy against repairing older tires then be honest about it but don't lie about non-existant regulations. read more

I have frequented this location since I have a special skill for finding nails on the roadways. I live in a new construction neighborhood and there is constant construction mess to deal with. A box containing 100s of nails flipped off a truck and on to the road where my special talent found three nails in one tire. I sat outside Discount Tire at 745 am waiting for them to open for the day. It is a very busy travel day on Dec 23 so I wanted to make sure I was there early. Other people started to arrive and wait in line outside the door so I went to join the line. Kaleo noticed I had been the first one to arrive so he took my car back immediately and found the tire to be irreparable. Within 30 mins I was armed with mail in rebates, a credit card rebate, a free replacement tire under warranty and a new set of tires. Amazing service! read more

I have been coming to Discount Tires for years. There have only been a couple issues that came up, and discount made it right. Recently my husband decided to get tires at Les Schwab and due to over torquing the studs my tire fell off. Not only would Les Schwab refuse to be accountable, the manager couldn't even be bothered to get on the phone. Save yourself money and hassle go to Discount Tires. I don't know where any negative reviews are coming from. I have purchased several sets of wheels and tires from them and have had a great experience with all sales and service. They are busy, you have to know that going in, and realize that they can't help everyone at the same time. I have done a lot of business with Discount Tire over the years, but I am done with this location. There have been too many problems. Most recently I discovered that they had installed 3 tires of one size and 1 of another on my car. Before that, they bent one of my wheels, and Rick the manager wanted to pay for only half of a new wheel because "we don't know what happened". When I asked him to pay for 100% of the replacement, he literally said I was "blackmailing" him. Before that, I got a nail in the side of a tire that I had bought the road hazard warranty on, and they wouldn't replace it, saying it was "worn out" (despite having only 16,000 adult-driven miles on it). The employees are all very kind and helpful and honestly they do deserve 4*'s, i gave 3 because this time around i made an appointment presuming appointments mean u get help at the time the appointment is. This is not true here, best to do a walk in. I recommend this place, as a woman it is slightly terrifying to get any work done on your car but these guys do make it calming and u usually get in and out within 45 min. just do a walk in. ;) read more

I've been a Discount Tire customer for the last 11 years, since moving to Longmont, and several years before that in Colorado Springs. I've been pleased with their services but on 11/27 I ran into a serious glitch - I had my tires switched out to winter tires. When I drove off there was a warning on the display about tire pressure. I initially thought it just takes a while for the sensors to initialize, but this morning I was still getting the message. I looked at the on-board pressure reading and it showed 60,37,37,37 psi. I thought there had to be a mistake so I measured the 60psi tire and the tire gauge exploded in my hand sending all the pieces across the garage. I then used a dial pressure gauge and confirmed the 60 reading. I bled the air to 37psi like the other tires and STILL got an error message. Turns out the sticker on the door states the pressure should be 32 front, 34 rear. So the lesson is: Check your tires yourself before you drive off. Everybody goofs now and then and I will continue to use Discount Tire with my "check it" proviso. read more

Update (04/11/19): 5,500 miles and several weeks later- that same tire they refused to fix and said it was completely unusable is doing just fine and, per the consultation of the other place I went to- will last me several more months. Liars- dishonest and incompetent (particularly the kids working reception out front as well as the ones blasting drum and bass music and yelling over each other). I do not go out of my way to write bad reviews (or reviews at all as you can see from my profile), but I will make an exception for this joke of an establishment. Save your time, money, and nerves and go anywhere else. Two times they have lied to me now and refused to perform a basic service because I would not take their upsell. The last time, I was here they kept me waiting for 4 HOURS to finally tell me they would not pull the nail out of my tire and tried to gauge me on the replacement one before I went down the street to another local place and had them put a new tire on for literally almost 1/4 the price. I accepted the first price discount tire gave me of around $110 total. Then they came back and said it would actually be $150. The place nearby did it for $40 in literally 15 minutes. Okay, not the best experience, but even though I lost 4 hours of my time and felt like I was being overcharged, I just let it go. No idea why, but I gave them another chance today. Once again, I just needed a simple nail pulled out of a different tire and I knew this one would not need to be replaced- the nail was not in any dangerous place- so I thought no way they could screw this up. WRONG. They tried very insistently to upsell me several times to replace it. And not just that tire, they were very pushy about me getting a whole set even after I told them several times I was not interested. I was aware the tire was not new but know enough about wear to understand it was definitely still fine for a while as I drive rideshare full time (through light snow and dirt too) and got the tire recently. I politely declined and just asked them to pull the nail out. After waiting another 40 minutes, their "manager" (another very rude kid) approached me and said they would not do anything unless I bought a new tire from them. Otherwise they need to send me away from the shop with the spare and move on. I refused, so they put the spare on and sent me on my way. I went down to that same shop i went to last time who advised there was NOTHING wrong my tire and pulled the nail out in 30 seconds. I thanked them, tipped them and was on my way in less than 5 minutes. The owner of this other shop (I want to this review to stay up so will refrain from mentioning the name.. but they are within a few miles and have a well deserved 5 star rating on Yelp) told me directly there is nothing unsafe about the tire, the nail was right in the middle and easy to pull out, and that Discount Tire absolutely lied to my face as apparently they tended to do often. Also, this owner seemed quite a bit more knowledgeable than the teenagers trying to push irrelevant services on me at Discount Tire. The Discount Tire chain itself might be OK- I can only speak about this location which is horrendously awful. read more

I've never seen such a ridiculous way to do business in all my life. First of all they didn't even really want to help me with a flat tire. They said they were doing everything by appointment because of the virus pandemic. Sat in the waiting room for over two hours and watched them put new tires on car after car that probably weren't being picked up till after 4 o'clock. The guys at this location are great! I went in 15 mins before closing a night before a forecasted snow storm with 4 bald tires. Despite the 30+ people in the store, I was helped immediately. Nick made me truly feel as though he cared about my safety. Even though I was convinced I could only afford 2 tires at the moment, and come back in 3 weeks for the other two, Nick was set on making sure I left with a full set of safe tires by letting me name my price!! He told me my car would be ready in about 2 hours, and called in 1.5 to tell me it was ready! Along with returning for my regular free rotations and repairs, I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for new tires! read more

I bought tires in July. Decent customer service then, but I had to wait two hours for them to put tires on. By December, the rear tires had gone completely bald, therefore I took my car in to get new ones, as they had less than 10k miles on them. They said that the warranty was void because my tires were out of alignment even when I get alignment checks twice a year. I paid for the tires and they said that they were not making any money off of me because they were "giving me a deal." I was treated poorly and yet another two hour wait. In conclusion, I will never go to this location again and I will discourage anyone from going there. The staff does not care about the customers and makes you wait too long. Don't go here! read more

It's so refreshing to have really snappy service, so even a tire rotation is done promptly. My daughter went in for a tire rotation and they tried to convince her she needed new tires. The current tires have 20K miles on them and are no where near the wear makes on the tread. They were clearly trying to take advantage of a young girl thinking she would not know any better. My daughter is way smarter than that. We have had great luck at the Lafayette Discount Tire and have purchased close to 10 sets of tires from them in the past, always with great service. After my 17 year old son was told by Les Schwab in Longmont that his flat tire couldn't be repaired and he'd have to buy 4 brand new tires I had him take it to Discount Tires. Lance got him in the same day, on a crowded schedule, and as it turns out, his tire just had a puncture that was easily repaired. Lance charged my son ZERO for the repair. I had an appointment, the associate seemed irritated when I wouldn't buy the tire certificates. Was told it would be an hour and a half. Thank you to the team working the night before the 4th of July! I pulled up to the Longmont store with a flat tire as the crew was leaving for the night. A young man was kind enough to offer to reopen the doors and fill my tire with max air so I could make the long journey home. After looking at my worn tires, it was agreed that they were irreparable and not safe. The entire team got to work replacing my tires without a hesitation and with smiles on their faces. After 15 years of horrendous waits at Big O, I made an appointment at Discount Tire to change out my snow tires. The owner went outside to look at my tires with me, measured treads and took me back inside to a display. I do little driving so both sets of tires had a lot of tread left, BUT they are nine and ten years old! I am not exactly sure that's true, but I will trust him on this, Theu won't put tires on that are ten or more years old. I had no idea. So I see some new tires in my future. I loved that I could sit in a quiet corner and read, and that my car was ready when he told me it would be! This is heaven compared to Big O's first come, first served policy where I often waited for hours in an uncomfortable small space. I'm converted! read more
