I have a hard time trusting mechanics, but they made it so easy to trust them 100%. They showed me the car on the rack and gave me a candid opinion. We authorized a $3,769.92 rack and pinion replacement job on our car, completed on 11/25/24. We returned the car on 12/3/24 to the garage after hearing loud noises. After performing diagnostics, the garage said it was a loose stabilizer bar which "posed no threat whatsoever and is safe to drive." We took our car to another auto shop to double check the work. The new shop found leaking rack and pinion fluid, loose bolts, loose shaft, and said our car was unsafe to drive to the point that they insisted we sign a waiver releasing them from any liability should we drive it home. We tried to work with the America's Auto & Tire Boulder garage, filling out a warranty form at their request for their faulty and dangerous work. The warranty was denied, and since then they have not responded to any further communications. We find ourselves forced to file a small business claim to try and get our money back, spending yet more time and money on this already expensive and dangerous misadventure. It's a shame - it'd be nice to have a trustworthy auto shop in our neighborhood but this shop is, at best, negligent to the point of dangerous. Let me tell you a story. One day my husband and I were hanging out and we pulled into a parking spot on the east side of King Soopers in table Mesa. When we pulled out of that parking spot, we heard a big pop and then air deflating it out of my tire. We couldn't believe it. When we stepped out, we realized that a piece of rebar had been sticking out of the parking block and punctured my tire. Well, my husband was taking the damaged tire off and putting on the donut I went in and talk to King Soopers, but then we realize that he needed a total to get the Lugnuts off. He walked over to roadmasters, and they were nice enough to let him borrow that tool. Once everything was finished and we were leaving, we realized that the donut was not properly working and so we just pulled over into Roadmasters to have them take a look at it. Two employees came out to help us without question or hesitation. They completely fixed us up and educated us all the while, not charging us. that actually resulted in us buying four new tires from them and they put them on the next day. We highly recommend this organization and we couldn't be happier with the customer service that we received from their team. read more

About a year ago I brought my new-used car here to get all weather tires, since the weather was warming and my current tire treads were getting low. Instead, I got winter tires AND grease on my beige interior. Unfortunately for me, I am not the most car savvy person, so it wasn't until I went to my usual mechanic for an oil change that they pointed out I had the wrong tires for the season. Since I had already driven it for a couple of months I figured it was too late to exchange them. Later on, when it was time to get a rotation, I brought my car back in. Now the rear brakes squeak. The biggest rip off auto repair shop imaginable! don't go near the place!! I took my car in for an Oil change, was told I needed a Steering pump. Over $2000 later, two replacement pumps later and steering failure, I took it to the dealer. They replaced the pump for less money!! SCAM ALERT !! Do not go to this shop! I have been going to Roadmasters for many many years. However,there is new management and they tried to scam me. They said that my Michelin tires were not safe to drive. I told them there are only 17K miles on them. He said we have a special going on and can replace them today. The tires are under warranty so I went back to the dealer who said that they measured 6 not 4 like Roadmasters said and were good for many more miles! Now I wonder if I also got scammed on the power steering fluid that they said needed changing despite having been done under warranty. SHAME ON YOU ROADMASTERS!! read more

Booked this shop to put tires on 2 vehicles through Simple Tire due to good reviews. Showed up a day early, hoping to get the tires put on. They said they were booked. Fine. So I came back the next morning, per my appointment. Dropped the car off, asked how much time it would be. "2 hours. At least. I'm down two guys." the front desk guy says. No "sorry", no "thank you for your business", no nothing. There are tons of tire shops out there. No need to put up with long waits accompanied by an attitude that says "you're lucky we're even doing it at all". I'll take my business somewhere else next time. read more

i made an appointment for 10:30 am for an oil change and 11 for a diagnostic on my car. I am a student so i don't simply have free days to leave my car places so i made time this day. i called them later in the day and by 4pm they hadn't even touched my car that i dropped off at 10:30 and claimed they were still working on cars that had appointments before me. do not book appointments if you cannot fulfill them, i do not have time to leave my car stranded for 6 hours. do not give this place your business. read more

I was having issues with my car drifting to one side and a stiff steering wheel. I assumed it was just a wheel alignment issue so I brought it in to Roadmasters early one morning. I did not have an appointment because the issue just began the previous day, and it was urgent because I drive a lot for work. They worked me into their schedule and got my car back to me by noon. They even identified a bad tie rod and replaced that too. Seemed great! But I noticed it was still drifting to the left after service. I brought it back the next day (again on short notice) and they took me right away and got my wheels aligned once more, free of charge! I really appreciate the care and respect from staff at Roadmasters. They were quite busy but did everything they could to make it right and fix my car. I'm not one to write reviews, but when I'm waiting for my TIRE to be repaired and I hear my engine being repeatedly revved cold to the point where I have to tell the guys at the front desk to tell their techs to stop, it doesn't make me want to return. I was then told that the tech was "checking something with the engine" (I'm not a mechanic, but I'm also not a complete idiot). I understand superchargers sound cool, but make sure the customer isn't directly outside the bay before you rev their engine over and over. read more

Bad experience. They'd been fine when we bought the tires and for a rotation or two, but bad news when we came in with a leaky tire (~5lbs/day). They brought it in and said a nail in the sidewall made it unreparable (and couldn't warranty it since we'd missed a rotation - that's on us, but nothing to do with a nail), and quoted well over $300 for a replacement. (The set of four was ~$800.) At home I couldn't find a nail in the sidewall, so took it in to Costco. There was indeed a nail, but not in the sidewall - $10.99 to fix it, and down the road - fine ever since. I'm guessing there's been a change in management and/or ownership, but I guess we'll go elsewhere for the next round of tires. read more

First let me say all I needed was a tire change (I was using my spare and brought my flat to them) I gave them my keys. FOUR hours later they called saying they couldn't change it but then offered to order a tire that can come in Tuesday. I live in Breckinridge and leave Sunday for work and school. I'm upset because they couldn't of told me they didn't have a tire as soon as they found out. Leaving the shop I noticed a sign that specifically says they aren't responsible for theft or damage to your owned vehicle but when I received my keys back they left my car unlocked. Although I didn't spend a dime. I sure wasted my day. I'm guessing they are reasonable priced like any shop. read more

This shop has not dealt honestly with me. In the fall of '18, I purchased winter tires from the shop. When i picked up my van, the manager told me that my regular tires were too old to be reinstalled the following spring. He said they wouldn't install tires older than six years and my tires were past that mark. Of course, my tires were only three years old at that point, as confirmed by when I bought them, and their serial number. For some reason (convenience), I went back this fall to have my winter tires installed. I paid went to get my car. I immediately noticed my regular tires were in the back. I asked what the deal was and the manager had to send a mechanic to get my tires from the trash pile. Did they think I wouldn't notice?? Did they think they could really toss my tires without saying anything? So, I do not recommend this shop, they seem eager to take advantage of customers. If you have to go here, he alert for their shady practices. read more

my first experience here was great. vinnie was kind and they only charged me a small amount to look at my tire and not find anything wrong. this last experience was not so pleasant. when the guy at the desk asked for my phone number and heard it was from out of state he said everyone here is from somewhere else. when i replied that i so happily escaped from somewhere else years ago he said, "go back." i left, picked up my lunch from across the street, then went back to get my key and i am going to take my business elsewhere. if a business is going to discriminate against people not born and raised in colorado they will not have many customers for long. vinnie is still the best! i'll be sad to no longer see him for tire service. read more

Set my appointment a week in advanc, dropped my truck off for a oil change and alignment at 730am, wait until 530pm, 30 minutes before they close to call and see what the deal is with my truck, they say it's ready. I go to get I and they say they aligned it best they could and my tire rod is corroded and should get fixed. I asked how urgent is that and the front desk helpers behave annoyed and say I'd get it fixed ASAP. Had they called me and informed me this when they disc the problem I would have fixed it right then. So I get charge $ 190 and leave the shop feeling unsure about the safety of my truck. And turns out the alignment wasn't fixed at all, still as bad as before. I've been a returning customer for 8 years and won't go back anymore, service and help has gone wayyy down hill. read more

I think they're ok with basic items: tires, oil changes, wipers, maybe a battery. But check another shop for comparable pricing for anything significant. They can say they're a one stop shop, but cars can be unique in seemingly minor but significant ways. Do they really know the oddities of an Audi transmission? One item that really turned me off: A $12 charge for 'shop supplies", for pulling out a battery and putting in a new one didn't use any shop supplies, maybe a soiled rag? At a subtotal of $120, that's a 10% hit. Not good. read more

Sadly i won't be returning after realizing how drastically the quote varies between them and two other sources. i had been going to roadmasters for more than 30 years. now that they are america's tire and auto, they have consistently done something wrong. this last time i asked them to replace the brake pads. I pretty sure the rotors didn't need replacing but they insisted so i paid for it. i got the car back with the rear wheel smelling like it was burning, making a scraping sound AND the parking brake no longer work. i took the car back and they said they fixed the problem by replacing the rear rotors that they had just replaced and that the parking brake cable was stretched out and needed replacing (though it worked fine before i took my car in). so i paid for the special order parking brake cable and meanwhile every time i got in the car it would obviously still be scraping on the brakes within the first 50 feet of driving the car. i had to turn around and leave the car twice more. when they finally fixed the scraping brakes, the parking brake still doesn't work despite me having to leave the car two more times. now they tell me i have to take it to the dealer! incompetent and not particularly honest. they will wreck your car! read more

I experienced a tire puncture on the sidewall of my electric car within 1 mile of Roadmasters. My air pressure immediately dropped and was reading zero as I pulled parked the car. The tire could not be repaired. My electric car is not sold with or contains a spare tire. Thankfully, I had a tire at my home. A person from the store gave me a ride to my house, picked up my tire and drove me back to switch out my tire. I am very appreciative of their service and "no problem" attitude for transporting me to my home and back in an employees personal car. I have used this location for many years, even to prior ownership. I feel like it's neighbor friendly and no nonsense with unnecessary upsells. read more

These guys are GREAT!!! I have been taking my car to Roadmasters Auto for the past 3 years now getting routine maintenance done on my 2001 Dodge Durango. This time though, they blew it out of the water! These guys are AWESOME! Will be going to them for everything as long as I live in the area. Last week I called Nick at Roadmasters who I work with often there and asked him if they felt confident they could solve a heating and air issue even though they were technically more of a tire and suspension shop. He said yes, for sure. So I trusted him. I'm glad I did. They didn't discount any parts or labor, but they did show that they truly cared about how much of my money they were spending and kept timely communication with me on exactly what needed to be looked at next and how much it would be, all the while building a strategy to figure out the issue in the most cost effective way possible. I picked my car up tonight and was so stoked when I turned my heating and air on. They CRUSHED IT! On top of that, I asked them about recharging my AC and they advised me to wait until it gets warmer so they could charge the AC properly. Brought my car to these guys and got a quote to fix some damage to my car. The quote was $2,500 and everything was "absolutely essential" for the vehicle to be safe to drive. I took my car in after I broke some suspension bolts off in the body. The shop tech there inspected the damage and attempted to drill one of the bolts out, and ultimately concluded that he couldn't do the job with equipment in the shop. I was a little upset with the initial charge, and was also under the impression that they had not done anything except an inspection. I left a bad review here as a result. The shop contacted me again and explained further that they had attempted the job in addition to the inspection, and also refunded me part of the charge to a level that seemed totally fair! Thanks to Nick for following up and taking the time to make this right! I would definitely go back to them for service. Four stars only because they got the charge wrong in the first place. This place is really a nightmare. I've lived and worked in the TM shopping center for 22 years. This store has had 5 or 6 different owners in the past 20 years. It was good-to-ok until about 2005-ish. Now, a nightmare. This place has had MULTIPLE owners. I feel like I'm talking to (Dave, Mike, Melissa) people who don't understand basic concepts or English. I can't even articulate what I've dealt with. It's almost surreal. The info they provide changes based on who you speak with. Their prices vary depending on who you are speaking with. I feel they are VERY condescending, which is funny, since I feel like I'm speaking/dealing w/ someone (more than one person) who isn't paying attention or they suffer w/ a very low IQ. In any case, as convenient as they might be location-wise, this is not a reliable place for service. I'm sure they are nice, but their "story" changes like the weather in this area. AVOID this place. You will get the old "Bait and switch" too. Watch out. read more

Great experience! My parents were in town & having some front end problems with their 10 year old mini van. We went to Roadmasters without an appointment on a Saturday. The man at the front desk listened, carefully explained the couple things he thought might be happening & laid out estimate prices & timelines for each- being sure to note these were all estimates and he'd contact us as soon as the mechanic did a diagnostic & prior to doing any repair. They called 2 hours later- faster than they estimated - and told us what the problem was (brakes). My dad authorized the work and they called an hour later to say they were done. Van drove beautifully & price was exactly in line with estimate. A sketchy garage would have taken advantage (visitors, needed car). Roadmasters didn't & were incredibly communicative & transparent. But here, I always feel like they are honest, giving me good prices, and flexible with my crazy schedule. I checked with my mechanic, Pride Auto in Centennial and they agreed that the price was right on. I would recommend them to anyone.
