I would give this review zero stars, if I could. I simply went for a tire air refill and Alexandra was the slowest and zero motivated employee I have ever experienced at this location. She literally had cars in line honking at her because she took no less then 15 minutes talking to a driver of one vehicle before starting to fill the tires with air and then when she was done, she spent another several more minutes talking. Several cars pulled out of line and left, probably not happy, I'm guessing. No employees helped her and no manager or staff told her she should be doing better that unnoticed or maybe they did and she is so checked out, she does not care. When she helped me, she was cold, inattentive and appeared miserable. She is definitely not a good representation of the employees at this location or of the company. read more

I took my tire in for a screw in it and it also had a defect. Employee I dealt with Alley was very rude and suggested the screw looked very "suspicious". I explained my tire doesn't discriminate against what road debris it picks up. She then again said it looks like foul play on a tire with an obvious defect and said she had to talk to a manager. This is not how you talk to customers. If you think there is a problem bring it to a managers attention and don't make the customer feel like trash. Very unprofessional. Ultimately I didn't speak to a manager. He took one look and began working on my tire. I will not be going back to Dobson and Main location and have to deal with this high ego representative read more

Kelly helped me out in ordering some tires since I accidentally order the wrong ones, she was very nice and helpful in getting me the right tires and within my budget. No complaints. I walked in and told them the low pressure light had come on in my car. They had me pull into the booth with no lift, checked the tires, added about 5 lb to each tire, and sent me on my merry way. Total time there about 10 minutes, if that. No charge of course. Even if you didn't buy the tires there, this is a courtesy service they offer. And I should mention this is also the location my daughter frequents and has been happy with. read more

I've always been a fan of Discount Tire since I've owned a car for a variety of reasons. For starters, they offer free tire patching, along with a several other services. I found myself here Friday afternoon because I seemed to have a slow leak going on in one of my tires. I made an appointment online Friday morning at work for later on that afternoon. I rolled in, and was warmly greeted by one of the techs at the counter. From what I saw, it seemed like most of the guys here were trained on counter service, which helps out tremendously in cutting down on wait times for checking in. The service guy took all my info, and came out and checked my car. I told him I was having a slow leak, and would like all my tires checked to make sure it wasn't more then one. He checked the car out, and told me it would be about 45 minutes. The whole thing only took an hour, and all the guys here were warm, friendly and honest. They figured out that I had picked up a screw in my tire, patched it, and sent me on my way. Total price? ZERO. And all in a days work. I will gladly be back for a number of reasons, and Discount tire continues to have my service. read more

I just stopped in to have a nail removed from my tire. I had been putting it off because I do not have the money for a new tire and wanted to avoid any sales pressure for new tires. This location was more than fantastic. All the employees were incredibly friendly and the location was very clean. They were able to patch the hole luckily and I was on my way within 30 minutes of getting there. They even took the time to make sure the notification was reset so my car did not continue to read the tires as low. Great location, highly recommend!!!! read more

Sometimes it's the little things that make a huge difference. I have enjoyed the service offered free of charge whenever I've had a low tire pressure light or a bolt stuck in a tire. I knew I would return the kindness in buying a new set of tires with Discount, and was not disappointed. Great price, helpful and courteous service and when I was putting away a spare tire they even graciously offered to throw out a trash bag that I had left in the trunk. Seriously who does that? Took a damaged tire and rim to the store, with a replacement rim in hand. Just wanted them to swap out the tire. I was asked if I wanted them to put the tide back on, and I said sure. The tire was swapped in about 90 minutes, and the guy rolled it to me. I handed him my keys and he asked if I wanted them to mount it. I again told him yes. I then had to wait again for them to do that work. Overall it took about 2.5 hours. The reason for taking a star off is that they kept (and wouldn't return) the old rim. I have a neighbor who is a scrapper that I had promised the rim to, and am disappointed that they wouldn't give it to me (my property, none the less). read more

The staff at this Discount Tire was amazing! I stopped by at 4:15 on a Saturday with a problem I was afraid was affecting my tires. It was simply a piece of plastic underneath the car that was dragging and making noise. They took the car, cut the piece so it doesn't drag and didn't charge me anything! I couldn't make it in time to get my tire changed before they closed at 6pm, I had the tow truck driver leave my car in the parking lot. I called right when they opened the next day at 8am and they had a new tire on my car in the parking lot by the time I got there ! I felt bad they didn't have my keys to get my car on a lift to change the tire but Moe assured me it wasn't a big deal, I had to be to work by 11 am and not having to wait & having my tire already changed was really a huge relief to my already stressful morning ! These guys go above and beyond. I got a flat leaving work around 5. By the time i got my spare on, they were closing. I called multiple times and spoke with Red who said they were finishing up in a car and to just come by. I got there approximately 20 minutes after they closed and they ran out to grab my tire and got my tire changed and back on my car in under 10 mins. Shysters Hucksters Rip-off! If you are a female and you like being treated like you are an imbecile, then please go to this location. Upon arriving at the location I was greeted with prompt service. I was told that my tires needed to be replaced. Everything changed when I presented my warranty which was still perfectly valid. They found every reason in the book not to honor it. I am taking my business to another Discount Tires location in Gilbert which is honorable and more than willing to honor the warranty that I PAID for. This literally ruined my day. I am an educated women and they were clearly attempting to take advantage of me. Annoying and I would not recommend. Update: Went to the location at 1947 S. Greenfield Rd. I am taking a 3000 mile road trip with my '99 Camry. The tires have seen better days and really needed replacement. I only plan on keeping the car for another year (ish), so I opted for the entry-level tires. I had an appointment scheduled for 8 am on a Saturday. Once the doors opened, they promptly got my car in the bay, and I had tires on it in less than 15 minutes (no joke). My total was $261.00. That's unbeatable. I was very pleased with the employees, their punctuality, and most importantly, the price. Had a great experience here. I went in for what I thought was a flat but it turns out I needed a new wheel. I interacted with two of the service people when I went in and another by phone. All three were super helpful, patient and understanding. They gave me information on how to care for my car while I waited for the wheel to come in. Answered all of my questions. Showed up on-time for the appointment, but they were so busy it took them 10 mins before anyone came out to help me. I told them I had an appointment. They found me on the computer, confirm what services I wanted done and then I was off on my way. I dropped off the car, so I could not tell you how long it took them. Must have a nail. I searched the gps and found discount tire. I got there before they opened. Then about 10 minutes before there posted opening time a guy came out from the store. I visited the Main St. store location on a Monday afternoon to replace a flat tire on my car. Wednesday morning I discovered the replaced tire was flat. Imagine how I felt just spending over $100.00 on one tire and two days later it's flat! Wednesday afternoon I went back to the Main St. store location explained to them what was going on. They checked in my car right away, about 20 minutes later I was told by a discount tire employee that they figured out the problem. It was my sensor. I was showed a dirty cracked damaged sensor. The discount tire employee then tells me that he could help me out by selling me a sensor for half off the regular price of $70.00. I then told him that there is no way all this damage to my sensor could have come from Monday up until Wednesday. The damage had to be there Monday when they replaced my tire, and I asked why wasn't I notified at that time that my sensor was damaged. I did not get a clear answer on why I wasn't notified. I then went on to inform the discount tire employee that I would not buy a sensor from them. (There is no way I'm spending my hard earned cash at a place that does a half ass job.) Finally I was told that they would replace the sensor for free. I appreciate the free replacement, however I feel like discount tire tried to take advantage of me in a sense. I feel like they thought I was the gullible type that they could get money out of. Maybe it's because I'm a female, maybe not, I don't know. I also would like to mention that when they replaced my tire on Monday they left white stuff all around my new tire. Wednesday I asked if that was proper protocol and I was told that it wasn't and that they would clean up all my tires for me. I appreciate that but wondered why proper protocol wasn't followed Monday when they replaced my tire. Also my wait time Monday was almost two long hours. For the work they did it wasn't worth the wait. I often go to mom & pop tire shops. Going there never ever have I been given a tire that went flat two days later. Or given a tire that wasn't cleaned up after repair. Or never ever have I had to wait two hours. And they cost half the price. read more
