I didnt have the money for 4 new tires but I have good credit so they were able to give me a credit limit for 1000$. I brought some different rims and I had them order the tire size I was told to get by my mechanic but they wouldn't fit the rims so they put a set that they had and something was rubbing so they ordered a smaller tire I left the car with them from sat to Monday. They put the new tires on and it still wasn't right and they figured out that one of the rims I brought was bad. Here's the kicker I had school the next day and couldn't leave the car so they loaned me 2 rims and 2 tires plus the 2 tires on the front to go to school and come back the next day with the old rims I took off. So I returned today with the original rims I took off the car and he found 4 new Yokohama tires and put them on for the cost under 1000$ even though I used 2 new tires and 2 borrowed rims and tires. I now have 4 new tires with warranty an I'm all set to drive safe for 60k miles! We always buy our tires at discount tire. I used to drive 90 miles round trip to work for 17 years and always bought the high end Michelin tires. I always pay for the certificate which really cost less than one tire . . The cost of the certificate is based on the type of car you have and of cost of the Of tires you purchased. In talking to one of the service employees he told me the cost can range anywhere from like $12 , and if you have one of the trucks that's elevated and needs those big tires It could be up to $125 total if you bought four tires. This is the range cost for 2026 and of course after several years that price may go up, but I feel it's always reasonable. One of the employees told me it's like 10% of what you pay pay for the entire cost of the number of tires you purchased.But as I said that is the total cost for all tires , which I have found it is well worth it. If something happens to your tires, then that tire can be replaced free of charge. I had a nail puncture in one of my tires and it was free to replace it. You can always get your air checked, and this is free of charge. Sometimes the line is a little bit long depending on the time you go. This location is pretty busy. They have started to take appointments which makes it a little bit better. This last time we had a 10 o'clock appointment and didn't get out of there till 1130. My husband noticed that some of the walk-ins were taken before the appointment. This may not always be true, but it was in our case. the gentleman that took care of us was very courteous and helpful. We went to get a balance and rotation of the tires again Free of charge and they inspect your tires . If they have wear on them, they will let you know . they don't try to upsell you or try to convince you to buy tires , unless the tire looks a dangerous for driving. They do this even for the people who are getting air. We have found this to be so no matter what discount tire you go to. He put my order in to have them plug the tire. I was a mess with the rain pouring down while I had to juggle all my bags and purse and umbrella that was so broken it barely worked. I made an appt for a tire rotation, and appreciated the customer service. Nelson met me at the car, spoke to me by name, and provided an estimated completion time. The waiting room has been redesigned nicely. He soon showed me where the windshield wipers were beginning to shred (it had been a while longer than the recommended 6 months) and asked if I'd like to replace them. I would, and he invited me to look at the choices on his computer. They replaced the wipers, installing them at no extra cost. While waiting, I walked across the parking lot to Taco Palenque for a quick bite, great tortillas. I returned very shortly and my car was ready. Right away they wanted to sell me tires but I told them I couldn't at the moment as I needed to get to my destination to an ill family member. Ford dealership wonderful salesman and auto shop workers were so kind to put on the temp tire and directed us to your store. I'm always very impressed with the service and efficiency of everyone at discount tire. After getting my oil changed at Valvoline I swung by discount tire to get my tires rotated because Valvoline offered to rotate my tires for $25. When I swing by discount tire they said that since I have a Lexus and it's considered a performance vehicle the back tires are different from the front tires and I do not need them rotated because the back tires are a different size than the front tires. I had a screw in a tire, just into the sidewall, so I knew I would need a new tire. The salesman tried to sell me all 4. I get that. But to lie and mislead is not good. Dylan measured the depth of each tire (did not show me) and said they were right on the edge of the limit where they should be replaced (4/32). They also said with only one new tire, the car might pull one direction. Oh yeah, Dylan sold me a 17" tire for my 18" wheels. He said they would give me an upgraded tire at no additional charge. The only thing upgraded was the price, because the mileage warranty for the newer tire was 10,000 miles less. I got home, took out my tire depth gauge, and it read 6/32 on the 3 tires, and with even wear pattern. I also measured the air pressure of all 4 tires, and the new tire was at 36 and the other 3 were at 28. With that difference in pressure, yes it will pull one way. read more

These guys were awesome! Justin was great. In and out fast AND they were very busy. I was skeptical at first because I was told that if my tire wasn't repairable, I would have to buy a new tire. The tires have less than 7,000 miles on them but we're bought and fully covered by a different company but no locations here. For this occasion (a typical Saturday morning), I didn't make an appointment for a wheel with a screw/bolt in it (causing a flat). The place was packed and I was expecting to be there easily for 2 hours... However that was not the case! We were helped by "Dually Chris" who was energetic, polite, and very knowledgeable (a lot of his coworkers were asking him questions while he was helping us). He was able to assess the vehicle and get the patch repair underway in no time. All in all, it took about 35 minutes to be in and out (got there at 10am, and left with my vehicle at 10:35am). Not bad compared to the web based status tracker recommended time/status. We were texted/notified on the phone when the vehicle was ready, so at least that way you didn't have to wait outside of the shop or you could go next door to get a taco. Thanks for helping us out Chris and recommending an additional full size spare tire! Small price to pay, but definitely worth the extra dollars so that you get that piece of mind when you get a flat! read more

I went in to Discount Tire just to get free air on the way home from work with my company vehicle. It was close to closing time, but that didn't stop my rep Cameron from letting me know that the tires on the passenger side were almost bald and would fail inspection. He urged me to get the issue taken care of right then and there, even though they were about to close and I didn't have an appointment set up. While I was on the horn with my boss getting approval and letting him know what was going on, Cameron, Josh, and Jacob got me taken care of in short order, with graciousness and without complaint. With no notice or appointment close to the last minute of the shift and working past closing time, they all three did me a solid that they didn't have to do AT ALL. Fantastic experience I had at Discount Tire (TXS 13) today. I brought my car in that suffered a shudder in the front driver side. I did not have an appointment. First, I was quickly greeted by Kyle A B when I entered the storefront. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He escorted me out to my car to determine that I had a bubble in one of my Sentury Touring tires that was due to a cable letting go. He then examined my 3 other tires and showed me how I probably needed to replace one other due to extreme uneven wear. He then took the bubble tire back to the garage, met me in the lobby, and showed me some of my options for replacement. He was friendly, and we carried on a great conversation about our respective backgrounds while we worked on the affordable tire package that would get my car back in shape. Everything was understandable, and no high-pressure sales. Ultimately, I purchased two new Sentury Tourings to replace the bubble and uneven wear tires. While the store seemed extremely busy, Kyle assured me that I would probably get the car back within an hour. True to his estimate, I received the car back in about 40 minutes. I have been to many customer-service oriented businesses in the past two years, but I have not had one as professional or customer-focused as today's visit to Discount Tire--a truly great experience! We arrived in New Braunfels Texas on Wednesday 6/21/2023 and once I passed El Paso Texas I saw that my air wasn't holding it's PSI (37) it was a steady (35) but on Thursday morning it was down to 27 my I filled my tire so I can get to Discount Tires and my wife and brother-in-law talked with Jake and he found out that America Tites in California is their sister to them. They couldn't take me then because they were booked and we scheduled an appointment for Monday morning but whenever I needed air to go by and they would fill it until my appointment. Friday, Saturday was filled by Discount Tires but they were closed on Sunday and filled my tire at a Shell gas station near by our timeshare. On Monday morning we get to Discount Tires and we talked with Bret who checked out our appointment and was very customer service oriented our wait would be 15-30mins might be a little longer but they will get to my car ASAP, I wasn't worried looking at how busy this store with the waiting room filled and people leaving their vehicles. About an hour into our wait and beautiful young lady Adrienne ask for "Alfred with a Cadillac!" I begin to stand up and she said "Oh sir please stay sitting and informed me they were able to fit my tire no leaks and in my tire had a small screw, they patched it and the reason for the small leak. If I had any problems to bring it back and they would fit it again. She also said "If you can wait outside by the curb and pointed, I'll bring the car to you" when she brought me my car she started to put my seat back to the position it was fit for me. How cool was that she made sure I was satisfied with their work before we left the facility. The value of this customer service is impeccable to what others I have dealt with, they truly are there for the customers.
