Came here because my pressure gauge came on on a tire I had fixed earlier this morning near my home. It was 10 min before closing and Jason at the front Desk was beyond helpful and fixed my car right up and replaced not just the one back tire but also the other. He made me aware that there may be a suspension issue with the uneven wear on the tire that was not noticeable until the tire came off. I really appreciate his professionalism and need to help.. he could have easily tell me they don't take any car anymore since it was so close to closing. So 5 starts to this discount tires and I wish I did not live over 1h away because I would make this my to go place. Go and talk to Jason. Women beware: This place is out to scam you. Went in for a tire rotation. I check my own tire tread, so I know that most are between 5-6/32", with one down to 4/32". Their manager checked me in, went out to do a walk around of my car, and came back in saying I needed new tires. I said no thanks, just a rotation. He proceeded to argue with me and say my tires were "at a dangerous tread level." I said no, they are not, I need them rotated, not replaced. He continued by telling me my better ones are in the back, and that's the safest place for them to be if the tread is so low. They flat out refused to rotate my tires. Next time you try to scam a female, make sure it's not one who has actual vehicle maintenance knowledge. I will never be back to this Discount, or any other. read more

They have a dedicated line for checking the air in tires which is awesome. No charge. We went thru a couple of week ago and they were a little low. They filled them and we were on our way. Today the low tire pressure light came on so we went to discount. One tire was at 14 lbs so we didn't want to drive the car. They were booked up but made room to inspect the tire. There was a nail in the tire. They fixed the tire and didn't charge for the repair. Found out this is standard practice that they do not charge for tire repairs!! Again awesome and you can bet when we do need new tires we will go back to this location. We talked to three guys there and all three couldn't have been any nicer. Quick staff if you have an appointment. Air pressure check line can get very long and even when it's only 3 or 4 cards deep it will take 30 minutes to get out of there. Prices seem like they went up a bit for stuff related to material, the add-ons you need for install and the lifetime service on the tires. Overall they do a good job and I'm always out of there in less than an hour when I need new tires and have an appointment. read more

The team at Discount Tire did a great job helping with my daughter's car. It was leaking air and they repaired the tire for free. They also sold us a replacement key for her wheel locks. I listened to the Asst Manager lie to another customer using fear of mechanical issues to upsell 2 additional tires to him. Based off of my heavy mileage, recommended a brand of tires that would be good in all weather conditions and have a warrantee for 80k miles. It took less than 40 minutes to have my tires removed and replaced! I feel peace of mind have new tires before the upcoming winter season, and knowing they are backed by discount tire. Every one of them has a great attitude, and seems to have great work ethics. You don't get customer service like this anymore! As long as they stay competitive with pricing and price matching, this is where I will go for tires. Unlike previous reviews, both times I've been in they have exceeded my expectations in turn around time. They told me 45 minutes this time. It took about an hour. Sometimes you cannot estimate walk-ins to check in or phones to answer. The previous set of 4 I had put on another vehicle, I was in and out within 25minutes. Very disappointing experience. I bought four tires and was told my car would be ready to pick up at 5:45 p.m. As I strolled into the parking lot around 5:40 p.m. my phone rang, it was Discount Tire and they only had three of the tires in stock. My first thought was what took them so long to figure out they only had three tires? They had a little more than an hour to figure they were lacking a tire. The manager told me that the fourth tire would be in tomorrow and I could come and have it put on then. This was the only option he provided for me. As I had already wasted two hours I suggested they install a cheaper set of tires that they had in stock. I was able to get a set of tires, but they weren't what I wanted and 35 mins late. Outstanding customer service @ this location! I was in search of winter tires. Found a tire online and had to order as it was not in-stock. Less than 30 minutes later I received a call from the store. Asking why I selected the tire I did and if I would be interested in another brand. He searched and found a tire in-stock. I didn't think there was a chance they would be able to get me in by the end of the weekend. To my surprise he said they could squeeze me in today. I live less than 5 minutes away so they checked me in and told me to come about 2 hours later. When I got to the store they had a line about 15 cars deep waiting for air checks. Super clean inside. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They do have tire storage for $75 a season which makes the seasonal tire change less of a hassle. Not pushy w sales. Overall great experience! read more

Today I visited this location to get my tires rotated. My mother was kind enough to buy new tires for my CRV last year as a thank you for doing the pre op running around before her knee replacement surgery. Their tires come with a maintenance agreement and for the first time in my life I went back for the maintenance! I arrived around 1 pm and they had me in and out 30 minutes faster than promised! Horrible Service! I recently purchased tires this past Friday (5/25), and one day later 3/4 of my tires deflated. Keep in mind, for the rest of the weekend I had to place air in ALL my tires. Prior to purchasing the tires, I asked about the tires tread, will they fit my rims and so forth. They "supposingly" measured my old tires and found tires that would fit my truck. Which in fact, was NOT true as I sit at another location to figure out the issue. Also, when I spoke to Robert the manager on duty, he had no empathy for my situation other than recommending for me to come back to the store. Ive been using discount tire in texas before moving to oswego and its always good but these buys are so nice and welcoming. They talk to you like a person not just a customer. I got great tires but what did it for me was the customer service. They have a customer for life with this service. I have bought at least 2 set of tires from this location, but went there to get air in my snowblower but was told no by the manager, he said that he couldn't do it because it was a plastic tire but had it done before at this location, I just needed it pass the rim to get it started, but he said he seen one explode before and he couldn't do it, I got upset with him and said that was bad customer service and said unkindly things not belligerent but unkindly not right of me to express myself like that, went across the street to Blains Farm Fleet and they helped me out, I will never buy my tires or any service from them again or recommend them to someone for service.
