I had a appointment set at 3 o clock to get 1 tire mounted on my car and they told me it would be a hour or hour and a half which I was okay with. Then around 4 o clock I called them asking for a update on the car and they haven't gotten to it at all and told me it'd be another 30 minutes. I show up a little bit after 5 and the car still hasn't even been worked on what so ever, yet their employees are in the shop screaming to the music just messing around. Go here if you want you lugs cross threaded and sheared off.. My fun adventure: Pasco Discount Tire: Burden Blvd... Got there @1 appointment time my car sat where parked till 2 ..ok place gets busy. Asked them if they wanted me to pay before the service or after, said that's ok you can pay after.. Ok then guy at counter goes out to garage then comes back in from garage and asks if I want to pay now.. hmm weird Ok whatever sure since there maybe a wait later. Mistake. About 10 minutes go by and guy comes back and proceeds to mumble all his words all while standing 15 feet away like he's actually having a conversation with me..So I have to ask him to come closer because I can't even hear the guy talking like he's had to do this before . Most likely is the 15 feet reason in hindsight... Then rattles off one of my lugs was cross thread and I'll have to drive on 3 till I get it fixed in a shop. Proceeds to act like he's giving me a great shop referral that will last 30 days,,, It's a piece of paper that does nothing except state its my responsibility to pay for it with the shop's contact info in Kennewick. Discount Tire will try to gloss you over by replying it's a 5-10$ part that all shops can repair. They wont go into how shops charge $100/hr labor fees. Upon inspection of the bolt that Discount Tire over torqued with the air ratchet and had to shear off the car with the lug nut (so they could get the new tire on the car and send me down the road with 3lugs) ... there was no rust wear whatsoever in the lug nut or around the bolt. I only got the reply... It happens!! Ah wow how professional So have fun spending another full day in another shop taking care of your new problem that at a very minimum if I'm lucky will be $100+ not ever recommending this place or ever going back here for tires. ** Update I wanted to reply to the Business Owner Reply- that link goes to nowhere... replies like these are designed to make you to look like you want do something to save face for everyone reading a negative customer experience, not touching my car again piss off! read more

Ordered tires online, made an appt. Their computer canceled my appt but not my order so when I showed up for install they said they had to invoice my order again, refund my card and charge me again. Refund would take 24 hours or more to show up in my account. I didn't have the money in the account to cover the double charge. The store manager had the nerve to say its not their fault because he doesn't know if I canceled the appt. I offered to show him the text messages showing I did not reply to cancel, he wasn't interested. I'm a first responder who has spent thousands at discount tire over the years and frankly don't have time for this. Ill be calling the regional manager because they need to replace this youngster. I've gone to this Discount Tire Location a handful of times. (Cousins Restaurant used to be next to them but closed down during the COVID-19 PEAK) I work at a nearby business, and figured, every time I have tires issues, I should go here. But, I have to say, the service is SUB-PAR if, that. You walk in, and you're not greeted or acknowledged. It isn't until you actually get to the desk when someone will go, "Be right there with you." & then go back to looking at their monitor. When finally being able to ask for a service of any kind, like, "A tire rotation/air pressure check" they will go inspect your tires and if they are not up to their standards they will go into the store, say you can't do it, (mind you while wasting about 25-30mins inspecting your tires), & then try to up sell you on new tires. I was slippin' & slidin' due to some severely bald rear tires. I have a MINI Cooper and it's always a pain to get tires because they are never in stock. Anyway, tire-shopping involves calling lots of different places and then seeing how long it will take to order tires. Discount Tire came out with a fairly decent price on my tire. It ended up taking a few longer than they quoted, but that was ok. Once the tires were in, I dropped my car off, and within an hour I was good to go (in the time they installed the tires, I walked across the street to Yokes and got me some groceries). I ended up having a pressure sensor issue after the fact, but Dave (the contact I mainly dealt with) had me come in and was able to get me going again. Dave was super helpful and nice (all the staff were pretty nice). I've not been disappointed with Discount Tire yet.....my only gripe is that I wish they would do alignments. read more

i called on a friday to order a full set of truck tires. they didnt have them in stock at this location so they had to order them from spokane. no biggie, they said the tires would be there monday and theyd give me a call to schedule an appointment. never heard back, no call or message. This was gonna be my first time buying tires here. not a great first impression. i had cash oozing out of my pocket ready to go. i didnt even need an appointment. i could have just dropped the rims off and picked them up the next day for all it mattered. since everyone price matches nowadays it just makes sense to take your price and use it somewhere else. ....a simple phone call. These guys were really great to my husband and I. We blew out a tire and I was running on a spare and needed a new tire right away. My work hours make it pretty tough to make it during regular business hours and I typically get off at 5:30 (and they close at 6). They told my husband that as long as I made it there close to or a little after 6 they were willing to stay open a little later. Luckily, I got off work a little early and got there right after 5:30. They gave me a good price within my budget and I actually got out of there right at 6 p.m. I appreciate that they were willing to work with my schedule even if it was outside of their business hours. So we live in Las Vegas but drive up to the Northwest a lot to visit family and such. Big O Tires is a big chain here in LV so I ended up buying brand new tires from them last year; BIG MISTAKE and I wish I had bought from Discount, mainly because Big O has closed almost all locations in the Northwest part of the country which pretty much screws me if something happens, especially because my tire size is weird and not one that is just in stock at places. Not only is Discount EVERYWHERE making them more convenient and reliable but the service is superb. Bryce at this location in Pasco was super helpful to my boyfriend and I after we blew a tire about 1/2 hour away. Bryce did everything he could to help us make it to our home-town, Spokane, that night. We had my dog with us and ended up in the lobby for a few hours at Discount; even had dinner in there, while waiting to hear our options. Our situation was a mess; we ended up driving on a wrong-sized tire instead of waiting to in Pasco to order one the next day. We were well informed how much we were risking the transmission with one wrong sized tire, We made it to Spokane safe and sound before jumping through a ton of hoops to get the right size tire for the rest of our journey. I did end up stuck with my Discount wrong-sized tire but that is OK, I am just glad we made it safe and after some hassle Big O did reimburse me a week later for the correct tire. All and all I am glad we broke-down near that Discount because Bryce didn't pressure me to spend or do anything I didn't want and we all know how tire stores can be. Very disappointed with this place. Took my car in to get 4 new tires. They have all these deals where you can get $50-$100 gift card with purchase of 4 new tires. I asked the guy 3 times to show me Good Years or ones that get that deal. He only showed me ones that didn't. After I chose the tires I asked him if any deals on those, he started no. Then he never asked another question and when 4 tires that costed $145/ each came to double that because he added some kind of warranty certificate on them. Not to mention on my paperwork he wrote my mileage at 68499 and my car mileage is 68999, shorting me on the warranty. Shovanistic assholes. Never again Discount Tire. read more

As always, an amazing experience! Now the Challenger has new shoes, too, to match the truck and the Camaro - all courtesy of Discount Tire. (I just wish we would have had the foresight to get the Camaro's rims and tires from THIS location, as well, not the Richland location.) But, it's okay, because Pasco made it all right with the following experiences with the other vehicles. In terms of this trip, Jeremi was helpful from the beginning to the end, in explaining the widths that would go with the requested size (18") which was a decrease from the stock 20". He also listened in regard to what type of tires would be preferred due to the Challenger being the commuter and helped find the perfect Falken fit. I prefer DT over Les Schwab because they're much more competitive with their pricing and usually have a wider selection of tires. If you're not racing, going off-road, or putting a lot of stress on your tires with frequent terrain variants over long trips, there's not a lot of reason to buy some of the tires LS will recommend. DT has higher-end tires if you want them but I've always gotten by very well on their more budget-friendly options. Some of their tires are like an "in-house" brand, a brand they contract to sell exclusively, thus giving the buyer a better deal per tire than you'd otherwise get. Instead of spending $140 a tire, I usually can get a decent tire with a reasonable warranty for at/under $100 a tire and that's why I keep them in mind when I need tires. Their services offered as well for customers are about as good as what LS has to offer. read more

Had a valve stem issue when I checked my tire pressure in Pasco. The valve wouldn't close. Yelped tire repair and limped over to Discount Tire. Mike came out right away and took a look, then directed me into a repair bay. He pulled the bad stem and replaced with a new one and tested it to make sure the pressure held. In and out in 10 minutes, no charge (I bought the tires at Discount Tire in Seattle.) Drove 400 miles in two days with no further problems. I'm a happy customer. read more

I have been a Discount Tire chain customer for about twenty five years and I've been a customer at Discount Tire stores from Phoenix, AZ to Daytona, FL and the Tri-Cities in WA State and many stores in between. I've probably purchased a dozen or more sets of tires over the years, so I'd say I'm qualified to write an experts review of the Discount Tires chain of stores. Discount Tire offers better than competitive prices for their tires and customer service that does not end after your rear view light leaves their parking lot, it's just the opposite. The tire replacement certificate they offer is the best I've seen, I'm glad to have had it on more than one occasion. For example, I had a tire failure while traveling in the Florida Keys a few years back and I was over 100 miles from their nearest store. I needed a new tire right away. Rather than tell me I was out of out of luck, they Fed Ex'd me a brand new tire overnight and instructed me to have the tire installed at a local business and send the payment receipt to their offices for re-imbursement of my costs. How good is that? Every Discount Tire store I've walked into over the years has greeted with a service staff that's friendly and helpful and ready to provide quality service no matter what the reason of my visit. The high standards Discount Tire stores set for themselves is one I wish every business strived to achieve and run their businesses by. read more

I am on a serious budget as a single mom! I went in knowing I had 2 tires I HAD to replace. Sergio recommend I replace all 4. There was no way I could do that. He said I saw the car seat want you safe let me check for used ones. He found me a set one step up from the basic ones I was going to put on - with very low miles on them. But that was still out of my budget. He asked what I was looking to spend. I told him what I could do as a max well below what he quoted. He said said done without blinking! I drove from Moses Lake to have 4 new Continental Tires installed. I left the car with them, walked next door to eat dinner and when I returned it was ready to go. They were already lower than any internet price I could find except Sears, which they happily price matched. I'm very happy with their service and the tires.
