You call their main number and it goes to voice mail and says to text. So then you text the number to get a time and date to bring your car in and no one responds for several days if even that. They obviously don't need your business and have probably filled their slots up with bigger money projects. I had purchased the parts and expected to pay to have the hose put on. I first went first went Jiffy lube on Williams and Jadwin. They said they didn't do that kind of work and referred me to McCue's Repair across the street. I thanked them and went to McCue's. I explained the situation to the lady behind the counter. After listening her struggle to come up with excuses for 5 minutes, ending with the only person that could do it was Kevin and he just left on a tow. I said I would wait.

I was not told at any point during the process from the time I called to make the appointment & thru the entire appointment that they were doing more of an extensive diagnostic check of multiple pages they printed out for me that was $250. I was not told about the fee until after they were done with my car. I told them I was not expecting this because I didn't ask for it & they didn't show any care or seem apologetic about it. Poor customer service & unethical business practices. I've been here multiple times, but will not be coming back. A $250 charge is a lot of money to not inform your customer of until after the fact. While the more extensive check was good, I did not need it nor did I ask for it. I would've gone somewhere else if I had known about the hefty charge.

When the guy went to look at my tires he came back and informed me that it was just one number under where it needed to be to be repaired. This was pretty devastating as the funds just are not here right now with Xmas. The gentleman went bone and beyond and really brought back hope in local businesses and hope that people still do care about others. Not only did he go above and beyond he was more than understanding of my situation. Without his help I don't know where I would be with the tire situation. Dean's Auto has been our go-to place for auto work for several years now. We first tried them out about 8 years ago, on a recommendation of a friend. Now we use them exclusively, with the exception of Jiffy Lube for oil changes. If you need work done, definitely try Dean's. read more

They promptly evaluated the transmission and charged around $250 (refundable if I did the work there) for the diagnostic. Their recommendation was a rebuilt transmission. No problem. I shopped around and had it done for $1500 less than the All Cities quote. I didn't do an online aftermarket purchase. The business I went to installed a Chevrolet certified reman transmission with a 3 year warranty (same as All City) that was direct from Chevy.
