This is a pretty sad review for me to write as I still for the most part trust this shop entirely for most of our cars. It's usually always a wonderful experience. However, my last experience was awful. Before I proceed, I must preface that my beginning experience with this appointment with Bentley was great and they got me in fast. He told me everything he would do depending on what was wrong with my tire. The problem was once I returned. When I came in, the manager seemed very unfriendly which was strange and he just handed me my keys and receipt with ZERO information on what they did with my car and then just walked away to do something else. To add insult to injury, all of my tires were different air pressures, especially the new one which was at a whopping 39 whereas the others were a mix between 29-31. They didn't even bother to check the other tires which I've NEVER had happen before. I don't know why but the shop seemed so lazy that day, I was extremely disappointed and honestly may go to a different location from now on. I usually am always greeted warmly, even on the busiest days and told exactly what is being done with my car as well as the car being properly taken care of. I really needed to get tires and wheels on a new to me used car. 20 inch wheels and tires were NOT an improvement on my hybrid Ford. I had a wheel and tire combo picked out and Brad had them ordered and ready to install in a couple of days. I have also dealt with Omar and Bryce and found all to be knowledgeable, polite and respectful to myself and others while I've been in the shop. Happy to have Discount Tire Store # 1000 in my neighborhood! Bryce, Omar and Brad were able to take care of a warranty issue with one of my wheels with no charge to me. read more

I already left a review for this location about a month ago but more so for their star assistant manager Jenny. This girl has come through to save the day yet again. I've been going to discount tire since I was old enough to drive just about. I have yet to be wow'd by any of their employees at any location (mind you, thats including all 4 states I've resided in) as much as I have by this young lady Jenny. I can NOT thank her enough for the help & awesome service I've received from her. ***Attn Discount Tire regional manager... why does she not have her own store yet? Jesse was so helpful today, and honestly the entire crew. Woke up to see a low tire pressure signal before work and drove over there to have it checked. He noticed a screw in my tire and was quick to help me know how to get checked in to get it fixed. Within 45 min, my tire was fixed and I was back on the road. It's really nice to have such a good crew of people nearby to help when the day goes awry. read more

I've visited this location several times since it's opening and every experience has been really good. Visited here again the past week as I had a nail in my tire. This is unfortunately the second time I've had to file a complaint with my experience with Discount within the last year. The first was for a location closer to my house and then now this location. I booked an appointment for 3:45 today and showed up an hour early at right before 2:45. There were only two cars in the bays. I asked to be treated as a walk up since it would be faster. The woman next to me also checked in as a walk up and was replacing two tires. She had her car done in 30 or 45 mins. I only needed a TPMS replacement. After over an hour and 15 mins and watching several people who came after me come and go, I walked up to the front and the gentlemen, Steve, was incredibly rude and told me based on my appointment they had for 3:45 I had only been waiting for 15 mins according to how they track time. So basically the hour I was waiting before was for nothing. He also told me that the original time they gave me of checking out was going to be later. Two and a half plus hours of waiting when I was told 30-45 mins originally. Honestly felt like nobody had a freaking clue about my tpms sensors. One got told me he was able to read all the sensors and pressures, and one tire didn't even have a sensor in it. How was he able to read all 4 when I only had 3 sensors. Need more training at this store. read more

Very poor service, we had our tires serviced at a different location, as we got on the road for 1000 mile drive we noticed the location we went to did a very poor job on the balance and needed them to be redone. This location was useless, they didn't back up their work from the other location and wouldn't help us in anyway. Very frustrating to see a location not standing by the companies work. Very frustrated how Dylan handled the situation, told us we were not a priority at all. Update: after I left I was contacted by Omar and was offered some compensation for my time and a heartfelt apology. The fact that they cared enough to reach out led me to update my review. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. I came in and bought two tires on Saturday. I was told the tires wouldn't be in until Monday morning. I paid for the tires and told Josh I would be in at 2:30 on Monday. I got a call Monday morning that my tires were in. I called back when I was on my way to confirm I would be in shortly. I got there about 2:40. Of course they didn't have an appointment for me in the computer. I got to sit there for 40 minutes before they even touched my car. Someone got lazy and decided not to do what they were supposed to do. For that, I got to sit there and wait an additional 40 minutes. This was a simple situation that could have been avoided. I was also quoted 45 minutes total when I walked in on Monday and sat there for 40 minutes before my car was even pulled into the bay. It's currently been about an hour since I got here and my car is still being worked on. Waste of time!!! All I needed was two tires. Never should have taken this long. Frustrating experience. I will probably shop elsewhere from now on. Plenty of competition right down the street. They were as nice as possible about the situation, but I value my time and it's frustrating to have it wasted. read more

Right after getting new wheels and tires put on my truck from this location, the installation on it was horrible. My truck would shake horribly going 70+ mph on the highway. Because my tires weren't balanced properly when they put them on. Brought it to their art entire, barley fixed the problem. Went in for my tire rotation appointment, and my hubcaps weren't screwed on all the way and we're constantly shaking while on the Highway... stopped brining my truck here since I did move, then moved back on this side of town and thought I'd give them another shot. Brought my truck in about a few weeks ago for a tire rotation and I leave and my tires aren't all balanced properly and the truck is back to shaking again going on the highway... read more

I never go to this discount but since I was in the area I decided to stop to get my tire pressure checked which all of my tires have been purchased at Discount and not cheap. I was behind a guy who just ended up leaving after like 10 minutes with nobody coming to check his tires in the line and area they created. I decided to see if maybe they would help me but after sitting for nearly 15 minutes I also got NO SERVICE, not even a hello were backed up or were busy. Just let both of us sit there. Jason the "manager" with his face on the wall of the building has terrible customer service. I had an appointment at 11:15 just for a tire rotation, and he checked me in as a walk-in. Which caused a 2 hour wait!! I had to go back in the building to ask why it's taking so long to rotate 4 tires and was informed he never checked me in correctly. He even charged me for this service. Luckily one of the employees Steven was nice enough to void out the charge. But wow for a manager to treat people this way, he really sucks. read more

I ran over something which a day later in a tire fail. Having purchased a set of 4 from discount a year ago I thought this would be a easy replace. I spoke with rep chance and he advised the tire couldn't be fixed and would have to be replaced. He advised me I need to replace 2 otherwise I would potentially ruin my all wheel drive system. I agreed And 2 tires were ordered, call My rep (C) to make sure my tires were in (C) said he would call me back to confirm and never did. Saturday morning rolls around so I decide to go to the location to see what the deal is and I encounter (B) . He checks to see if tire is in and says yes however he tells me that if I don't Replace all 4 now the warranties are Void and I would not be able to Make a future claim unless I replaced all 4. I snapped having been lied and mislead by the 1st guy (C) Bryce attempted To discount the price on all 4 And then was quoted 900 plus to replace all 4. None of this replace all 4 stuff was disclosed in the beginning. Just the 2 . I was livid that I was misinformed the 1st and that I have gone from a 300 $visit to 900$ plus just to be whole and not have violated my AWD system. The manager did step in and made the situation right and warranted all 4 and sold me the set for the cost of one. In the end the mgr (J) saved the day but faith in discount was shattered based on this experience at this location. (C) failed to take accountability and had been every opportunity to apologize but didn't. Later the same day they called And advised the 2 remaining tires had come in and could be installed the same day which exceeded my expectation. This started out bad and finished much better than expected. Service recovery was the key and discount did right by me. read more

I went to go get new rear tires. I was helped by the assistant manager Louis and had a pretty awful experience. The total came around to almost $450 which was a little strange considering I DIDNT want to purchase the warranty they offer and I chose the cheapest ones. Anywho, I paid and asked for the receipt and he was confused as to why I wanted it before picking up my vehicle. I stepped out of the shop and noticed he charged me $58 for the "certificate for replacement" after NOT asking me if I wanted it. Online it states they have to ask you and when I went back inside for a refund and stated he never asked, he dismissed it and said "just that?". No apology or acknowledgment of him making a mistake. I worked customer services for 6 years and at the end of the day you have to treat people with kindness and if you make a mistake apologize. Crappy experience and I doubt I'll revisit this location again. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, fair price compared to other nearby shops, and really quick service. I caught a nail in one tire on a Sunday and had to patch it myself as a temp fix. I called one shop on Monday morning wanting to replace two tires and they didn't have my tires in stock but said they could try to get them the next day. Not an unreasonable wait but I called Discount Tire next. They didn't have them in stock either, but said they could try to get them the same afternoon. They called me back a couple hours later and I had them installed the same day (also didn't cost me any more than nearby shops would have charged for a one or two day wait). I wanted to take a moment to give some feedback on my recent visit to your Arizona store at 24725 N 23rd Ave Phoenix, AZ 85085. My husband and I stopped in around 11:00 on Saturday Sept 15th and was assisted by an associate names Luis. As he was inquiring why we were there, I explained I had a nail in my tire and knew I had two really bad tires and they my husband was outside with the tow truck driver who was unloading his truck because he also had a tire issue and we couldn't find the wheel lock. Luis escorted me to check out my car and was making small talk and measuring my tires and confirmed that I in fact did need two new tires and might not be able to just plug the one with the nail I began to cry because I was overwhelmed at the potential cost of having to buy tires for both vehicles when my husband just lost his job. Luis assured me that he would take care of my situation and do what he could to get us driving again. He treated me with the utmost respect and dignity, despite my breakdown. He made a deal with us for tires for my car that far exceeded my expectations and helped lessen the burden I walked in with that morning. I have always believed in the Discount brand and today's experience was yet another reason I will not shop anywhere else for tires.
