I pulled in this morning worried that I had a serious issue with my tire or wheel since 4 sensor lights came on at once. Rodger greeted and assured me they could help me (without having to sell my first born.) I went inside and spoke with Michael who was not only helpful but pleasant and really funny( I'm sure he is married) checked everything out and got me back on the road in 40 mins with No Warning lights, and fixed s spare tire. This happened me twice. One in 2019 which I think it was not intentionally. Once again same story in 2020. It must be spoken. I had Lexus RX350. I got 4 new tired with discount tire 2019. A month later, I got a snail on one of the tired came back to them to get it fixed. They said the snail was too deep, they have to replace new one. I paid $30 for warranty on new tire. The tire sensor was on still after new tire replaced. they said it may take times. Ok I was patience wait for 3 days. It was not off. I took to dealer. They said one sensor was broke. I paid $275 to fix it. I let it go first time. In 2020, I ran into snail again. same story, but this time they tried hard to talk me into replace all other 3 wheels. Reminding that I just got these new for tired in 2019 Yokohama ones. They denied replace all 4 because we don't run much during this pandemic. Here we go, 1 replaced but sensor is broke again. I have to get it fixed. I guess I was stupid enough to let them go the 1st time. But not this time. Please be careful with them please. You may spend more than actual savings. read more

What a wonderful experience. I had first taken my car to Sam's where I purchased my Michelin tires. One tire had a slow leak (3 pounds a week); they said it could not repaired/plugged. The small puncture was 1.5 inches from the side wall. I was told my tire was down to 4/32" of a 10/32" tire and suggested we replace all of the them. They no longer had Michelin's for my car, not could they order them. They suggested Piereli, which they would have to order, naturally. After waiting 5 days and a suggestion from a couple work mates, I took my care to the new Discount Tire on Spring Creek, in my neighborhood. With the help of Chris & Ke'Andrea, I was back on the road within 10-15 minutes. THey checked and my tires in reality Have 5/32- 6/32" tread left on a 8/32" tire. Lot's left for another 15-20k. I went to this location with a slow leak. They took off the tire and examined it, and correctly diagnosed the problem as a manufacturer defect, and told me to take it to the dealer. I went to the counter to pay, and they said no charge! I was shocked bc they had spent a lot of time helping me. They were honest, friendly, and helpful! read more

It's a very scary time in American/World history right now, and several of us are out here taking everything for granted. I have been keeping my family quarantined, but today I had to make thr journey out to get a few items for the house, and my tire pressure light came on. I took a chance, and made the track to Discount Tire. I arrived and couldn't believe that these men were working so hard, tirelessly, and still had such friendly attitudes. Matt advised I had a screw in my tire, and quickly got me checked in, so they could do the work. I do not take their service for me today lightly at all. As a single mom, with only one vehicle, it's imperative that my vehicle is in working order. I want to take this moment to thank Matt and everyone at this location (and countless others) for being here during such a difficult time. I cruised in with no appointment after my low tire pressure light guilted me into it. Discount Tire's young man topped off all four of my tires but the light persisted! No match for my new hero, he proceeded to unlock the puzzle of coverings over the access to my spare tire and, using only the tools provided, lowered said behemoth to the ground on a metal cable I was not aware of. The spare tire WAS the culprit and was dealt with by my new hero accordingly, all while he chatted amiably about built in trunk shades, spare tire replacement etiquette and (when prompted) his learned opinion of the best make/model for my next vehicle. I learned more about my vehicle that day than I had learned during the past ten years of owning it. Didn't cost a penny. 5 stars all around. read more

I had a flat tire and took my car in to see if it was repairable or if it needed to be replaced. Turns out that it needed replacement, but that the tire wasn't available at this location, but they were in stock at another Plano location. I was told that it would be ready by the next day. I paid for everything upfront. I called the next day around 11 AM and after being on hold for 11 minutes that the tire didn't come in with the first delivery, but that it would be included in the second delivery. I waited until 2:45 and no call back. I called them back and asked what the status was and after numerous holds, was informed that the tire wouldn't be delivered until the next day. The rating is for long wait times and the service was not what was promised. read more

I went to this location for a tire repair and found out the tire was not repairable. I did some shopping and determined their price was competitive with other dealers. I ordered the tires on a Monday afternoon and received a phone call early the following morning that the tires had arrived. I scheduled an appointment online for the same afternoon and the installation was completed in less than an hour. At a time when Covid seems be an excuse for poor customer service, this store was amazing. From their website to the store, the process was totally seamless. My car got a flat and I needed to replace all 4 tires anyway. Neither Sam's nor Costco had the tires I needed and the prices for them were expensive too. I drove by discount tires with my dog and decided to just get pricing. The guy that helped me was great! Not only did he get me the best deal he could but since they had only 2 tires at that location he got me the other 2 on his lunch break! He also let my dog come in the store while we waited. I know I shouldn't have brought my dog with me but I didn't think I'd get a good price and didn't think I would stay in there for more than 5 minutes. Great experience. I needed a new set of tires on my truck. Discount tire had by far the best price in town. Although they didn't have them in stock at the store, they ordered them and the tires arrived the very next day. The instillation process took 30 minutes and was painless. I had a flat tire (a tire that was gently used and I'd only had for 10 days) so I took it here to see if they could fix the nail that was in it. Which I might add it was in the middle of the tire, a spot where it could possibly be patched. They said they can't do it, that's fine I don't want to pay $185 for one tire when I just got 4 gently used tires for $190 total. So I ask them to change it and put my spare on because the last place tightened the lug nuts too tight to get off. They say they can't because my spare is from my original set of tires . Now mind you, my truck is 13 years old there is NO way I still have any of those tires. I tell them it isn't and that's impossible, it was from a set prior to my last ones. Needless to say, I find it crazy and terrible customer service that they wouldn't even loosen my lug nuts so I, by myself could put my own spare on! The guy was telling me I even needed two new tires! Of course he was, it's his job to sell tires, right? I'll never go to this discount tire again, or any other discount tire for that matter. read more
