Bought a set of tires for a used vehicle I purchased. Mike advised me very well before the purchase was made. The tires were bought online, appointment made and all required hardware begotten. The checked the alignment, and fixed it perfectly for $90. That is a bargain! It's a very smart business move that also ensures the new tires aren't ruined. Jonathan did an outstanding job aligning the truck in just minutes. The tires are great and the ride much better. The prices are good, the service fast and the guys are honest. My only gripe is, the always remove the valve stem caps and either switch them or don't replace them at all. It happens consistently...almost every single time there is a rotation and balance. It's irritating at best. This is the only gripe, but something they could solve and eliminate easily with training. I came with valve caps, left with new tires and missing the set of valve stem caps I came in with. If it weren't for that, it would be 5 stars.... because now I have to go back to get the caps. read more

Walked in around 3:45PM on a Thursday (Today Nov 6,2025). Nobody in line. Only one associate. He was typing on computer and told me that he would be with me. A few minutes later he called someone on the phone and spoke with them. A person then walked in with a tire saying it was losing air. My associate went to go help them. There was another associate helping them. Now that is two associates in red shirts.( A lady walked in behind me and another associate (third associate in a red shirt) came and used the far left terminal (to the left of me). One guy walked in and then another associate (4th different associate in a red shirt) helped him on the right of me. I am just standing there looking around that I was there first. Here were four different associates in red shirts taking care of other customers when I was the first customer waiting to be helped standing at the counter. I was ghosted and felt invisible. Another person comes out and comes to me and says, "We will be right with you" and I told him that I was already told that. Still nobody. Another person walked in and he was helped (by another associate in a red shirt). If you are keeping track, I was there first. Only one associate in red shirt standing at the middle front register and I stood in front of him. By the time the Associate below helped me you can see above that after I was there first, and patiently waiting, there were FOUR other people who walked through the door and received instant help. You need to bring back those red velvet ropes to keep people standing in line in a queue so the next person gets help. This is NOT how to run a business. Finally one person came to help me and we went to my car to see what was wrong. Told him my back right tire is losing air, saw a nail this morning and my daughter said it started to lose air last night on way home. I ended up buying 4 new tires for around $1,000. I wanted to just leave and not come back. Terrible experience. First person waiting should be first person to be helped. At one time there were four associates in red shirts helping the other four customers who walked IN AFTER I DID. I felt like I was just invisible and not important. I did spend $1,000 that I could have brought my business elsewhere. Better customer service would have been five starts. Treat every guest the same regardless of what they are wearing or their age or their ethnicity. This is Customer Service 101. Treat Customers with respect and if you are first in line (there was no line. I was the only person standing up by the terminals to be needing help) then help. Someone should have asked me if I was helped first before just helping the others. I have been going to this location for 20 years. First experience like this and first time since they remodeled the inside. read more

Had a nail or something in my drivers side front tire. Arrived just before 9 am. I was greeted by an associate before I got to the door. Told him the situation and he checked it out and the nail was visible. They got my car in within 15 minutes and 20 minutes later, I was ready to go with no leaky tire anymore. Love that they will repair your tire for free, no matter where you got the tire. No way Park Place Lexus would have repaired the tire for free....even though I bought it from them. To get store management involved, you don't ask customer to visit yet another site. Just contact the store manager directly yourself and show them the review. I was explicit in the concerns shared. Maybe I reiterate here in case it wasn't clear. "2nd time I left with 3 of my 4 tire caps missing. That was a pretty cold day and the gentleman doing the air check was especially slow. I don't blame 'em. But I've lost count how many tire caps keep on going missing after a visit to Discount Tires." Re-cap my tire gauge always. I've had to buy so many and it's frustrating. "Also, they check the tread level. My first time the level was 6s and 7s. 2nd time I had 8s. I don't get it heh. The tread check needs to be more consistent. I need to know when to replace my tires and when not to." Be more thorough here. How can I trust this when I go once and get low tread readings and go later (same tires) and get higher? Maybe your workers are not checking same tread areas every time? This is something internal you need to figure out. I can't make your policy for you. read more

I very seldomly leave reviews positive or negative. But the experience id had on 4/16/26 left me in disbelief. We'd gone to this location because we'd got a full set the year prior. I talked to an associate, and showed him we had a tire that needed to be patched within the tread specifications. He then proceeded to tell me that there was too much wear on the inner part of the tire. I'm well aware of what an unrepairable tire looks like. That tire could be repaired and last another 3-4 months before it falls even close to needing replacement. I don't appreciate being put in a situation where I'm being pressured to buy something I don't need. I understand that he was a part of management and they get quarterly bonuses based on store revenue. But I refuse to be taken advantage of by a "professional". Especially when I know they're others out here that don't know better. I won't be having anyone further visit this location. read more

He made me aware it was not a guarantee and that I understood. I was then greeted by Austin who helped me out with all the sales and repair help. knowledgeable, professional, customer service orientated, and went above and beyond. I have a Tesla Model 3 and this location is legit for fellow Tesla owners. They can also now wheel align Teslas. $200 which is cheaper than Tesla. I have bought two sets of tires here and each time they properly balance the tires where no follow up is needed. They use the proper pucks also. A lot of other locations try to rush and don't use them. My wheel alignment was done with no issues. I highly recommend this location. Michael was my advisor and he is an awesome guy. read more

My wife went in to get her flat tire fixed. When she left she told me she paid $60 for a warranty on her new tire. I asked her for what as I've put plenty of warranty's on all my sports tires costing $120-130 max for all four. Her tires are also cheaper than mine. i went there to fill some air,two guys were there,they filled the air in driver side front and rear but the passenger side front and rear was absolutely not filled the air and it was still showing the low pressure light,their argument was they used a two different machines to fill the air,one for driver side and other for passenger side but they said passenger side machine had a broken beep which did not beep when it reached the required air pressure,i came out of the garage and checked the air pressure with my digital gauge and on passenger side both tires had the same pressure as before,both workers lied and each time you go there they don't put valve caps or always missing,i called the store and spoke to the assistant manager and he did not acknowledge that what happened,without doing any investigation he just simply defended the both workers and said "what do you want me to do"? is this the way you handle the complaints? never want to go back there and will not recommend such unprofessional employees,there's no management to even ask them why are they doing such things to their customers,it may not be a big deal or big issue for the discount tire but for me it's important issue,i am very disappointed read more

As the store has every time that I have come to have my air tire checked since my first visit a month after purchasing new tires from this location, the technician checking my tires told me that he could not air up my left front passenger tire because it was a safety risk that was prohibited by law. He told me all three of the remaining tires were fine and he could air them up. Because of the lack of credibility I checked again with two independent sources. Both immediately identified a puncture in my right front tire. Both also measure the tread independently on my left front tire and said that while the tread was getting worn, it was not beyond the limit for road worthiness, established by the federal government. Based on all the problems I had with this location and their clear lack of credibility and honesty, I went to Costco, who gave me a great deal on the tires, did not charge me for installation, did not charge me for the 5 Year road warranty, and were able to make the tire change the same day on a Sunday. Won't be coming back here and recommend others pick a different place too. read more

We chose this store based on researching the reviews since we have had very bad experiences (2 stem valves for 2 tires were damaged) with the E. Park Plano store (our usual go-to store for the past 30 years) for the past 6 months. We received excellent service with timely delivery of new tires as promised, as well as professional installation. We appreciate the attentive service from the store manager Kevin Kramer who took care of our needs and delivered excellent job services. got a flat and was stressing. went in early to Discount Tire on monday morning. before i stepped into the store, Michael met me outside like at the car dealership and asked, "how can i help you today". told him i am on my spare and needed my tire repaired. he looked at the tire and said there was a rock/pebble in it. told me my options which were leave the car there, stay with the car while they fixed it or just leave the tire which i taken off already and then they will text me when they are done. everything was easy peazy. i left the tire for the repairing job. went to krispy kreme got a dozen donuts for the guys at Discount Tire due to Michael's great customer service and also they were doing the repair for free. by the time i got the donuts i got a text telling me that the tire is ready and i can come by at my leisure and they will install the tire and replace the spare back into it's place under the car. great customer service and it made my whole transaction stress free. highly recommend it but i would make appointment. i got lucky on my walk-in. before i left the guys came out of the garage and thanked me for the donuts. all in all it was a great experience. i've worked customer service as a career and i appreciate the effort Michael put in to make a possible stress filled situation...stress free. good on you Michael. i never give 5 stars but my experience with Discount Tire and Michael and his guys were excellent. read more

One of my tires was totally flat. Knowing I had older tires I wanted to buy 4 at once. I was going to go to Costco for a great deal on Bridgestones that included $150 off for buying 4 tires. Well, Costco said they would not have those tires in until next week, and I needed to prepay to keep the sale price. I called Discount Tire, explained which tires I wanted, and asked for a price. It would have been $200+ more UNTIL I told him about Costco. THEY MATCHED THE PRICE! And they special-ordered the exact tires I wanted which came in the following morning! Michael was fantastic on the phone making sure my invoice would be exactly as I expected. No need to prepay. By 1pm next day I have 4 new tires! The store is very clean. Also, just do yourself the favor and buy their tire warranty deal so they can replace your tires for free in case you get a flat. This situation pretty much happened to me. My passenger side front tire had a nail in it, plus the other three were getting low on tread. Ended up replacing all four and laying around $60 for that warranty plan. Really happy with this place. It was relatively empty so I went to get two new tires put on. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay for two tires ($340 for both tires which included warranties and labor) but I went ahead and got them anyways. I walked in at 4:50, decided on the brand of tires I wanted and then they asked me to pull the car into the stall so they could get started. They let me stay in my car while they replaced my tires and I pulled out of the stall at 5:15. It took less than thirty minutes for them to do everything. read more

Rodger greeted and assured me they could help me (without having to sell my first born.)
