Came in today on Wednesday 10/15 220pm. I live in ROY city I just happened to be in the area. I did not realize I came to the wrong location. I set an appointment for the Plano location on 15th St. but I accidentally arrived at this one. I was willing to get my services done here anyway, but my Pricing ended up being about $120 more than where I had scheduled my appointment. The reason being is because of a charge for an alignment, but I have a lifetime alignment. When I asked him to look in the system, it should show that I have a lifetime alignment. He told me well it's not coming up. I asked him if he can check again. He he had an attitude and said well sometimes the system doesn't want to load, but do you know what location you bought it from? I said no because I bought it maybe five years ago and since then I have been to numerous locations. I told him it's OK. I will just go to the location. Stopped here to look for emergency help with getting brake fluid, having either them top me off or I was happy to buy whatever they had to do it myself. The gentleman I spoke with was dismissive and asked if I knew where my e-brake was. In my opinion, that comment was incredibly demeaning when I was simply looking for some help because I didn't feel safe driving my hour long commute home, or really anywhere for that matter. I have been using this Firestone for many years. They are reliable, honest and fast. This morning, I was able to sit on a bench in back in the shade for EIGHTEEN MINUTES while my car was inspected. Touchlessly. Courteously. Honorably. I moved to this Firestone because of its honesty and integrity. The Firestone closer to my house tried to upsell me $625 worth of stuff when all I needed was a tail light!!!! I will never go back to that one, THIS IS MY FIRESTONE FOREVER. If I could give them negative stars I would. I went into firestone for a free break check and decided to have my battery checked because that was also free. After two and a half hours of waiting, I was told that I needed a new battery and all of my rotors and brakes replaced. I was told my breaks were at 4mm and that was not the case. They tried to charge me $1000 in total and I was told that my breaks were not urgent but that he recommended I at least replace my front brakes first. I decided to check with auto one before getting my battery replaced, AND TURNS OUT MY BATTERY WAS HEALTHY?!? They tried to scam me and charge me $200 for a battery I did not need!!!!! And to make matters worse, my rear breaks had ZERO brake pads left that should have been changed ASAP! I could have been in a serious wreck due to firestone's ignorance. This was my first time doing business with them and this will be my last one. I will tell everyone I know to never do business with firestone otherwise they will be scammed or in serious danger. read more

I've had oil changes done on my car since it was brand new with the same type of oil used every time. If I know what kind of oil my car uses, the employees here should know just as well. I walked in to the store with my coupon on hand, right behind a young lady finishing a payment for her service. Hearing her weakly murmur "$78 for an oil change?", I was immediately skeptical that she had been taken advantage of but nonetheless, it's not my business. When it was my turn, I showed the employee my coupon and the man had the nerve to look me dead in the eye and lie straight to my face. Not only did he try to twist the coupon into something completely different, he had told me that they won't put a specific kind of oil in to my car because it's the "wrong one". Really? The same oil I've been using for years and the same one they regularly put in at ANOTHER Firestone location? Ridiculous. Shameful and pathetic employee. I had to get rear blinker lights repaired for state inspection and tge state inspection and originally had an appointment at another firestone that suddenly had to temporarily closed. I called their number and this Firestone picked up and said they were taking on all of the appointments of the closed firestone. Just like that. I drove iver to this ine and they saw me right away. Thanks to Rusty and Fernando for fixing my sensor. My check engine was on. I'd been to my dealership several times only to be told multiple things were wrong with my car, but never had the sensor mentioned. I am not kidding, I got so fed up with throwing money at this problem I almost wrecked on the highway driving a poorly performing car. Last ditch effort I went to the firestone, ready to throw my car keys away and throw my car in the trash. They fixed my problem after running a diagnostic. Granted, yes they are not the cheapest. Upsetting I called on a coupon for $100 off 4 tires on my Tahoe. The price quoted was close to $900 with taxes. (Seriously!) "We'll call you back to see if we can do better." They did not call back! Fortunately I checked another Firestone for exact same tires and saved close to $200. I did let the other Firestone know upfront I was shopping prices and did not mention anything about a coupon. They told me about it and probably waived jacked up "installation fees..."I guess the Park location felt like they had my business. Overall - meh I went in and had a clutch plate replaced on my 2008 Jeep JK. This was the first one they had done on this model by this person I was told, so they anticipated it would take longer but would be done by end of day none-the-less. Long story short, they did get it done, I was out of there at 9:45pm (long after closing) and had to circle back 2 weeks later for a part that had been broken during their work. I called the manager two days later to get an ETA for the part to be done and addressed, it turned out to be the following week which I could live with. In the discussion we had he told me of a drunk driver he had encountered that night he had finished and that he had stopped and helped and spoken with the police. I didn't think anything of it, until I got a call that evening from an insurance agent with details that my information had been provided at the scene of an accident the night before along with my state farm insurance agent information. I was floored. I have since asked for copies of this information from my agent (which they don't have) and since I wasn't involved in the accident, I can't get a copy of the police report as this has implications in Identity Theft charges and filing a police complaint. Be aware, your personal information, financials and identity cards left in your vehicle here may indeed be stolen for other uses...be careful, I have no idea what he was thinking or the fact that it would get back to me. Additionally, I found out during our ice and snow months that my 4WD isn't functioning like it used to. I do have options, and just down the street is the Jeep dealer, so I won't be taking it back there for work. I will have it looked over to see what was not done correctly. They didn't put my wheel lock key back, so I ended up having to go back to pick it up the next day. It was somewhat ok, since I had to go back anyways because of their screwup. They put the wrong tires on my vehicle, even though it was painfully obvious they were too small and they didn't say a word. I think it's all they had in stock and they were hoping I wouldn't notice. I had to come back a second time to get my original tires put back on. They tried to get me to have a front end alignment done even though I never asked for one or even mentioned it. They even put it on their "to do" list when I asked how much it would cost. I had to tell them specifically to NOT do the alignment. They never offered to show me the tires they would be putting on my vehicle. They completely tore up my spare wheel cover (was a tough leathery material, but the threads were really old around the edge.) They didn't bother asking me if it was ok before they had to damage it.... I didn't find out until after I was about ready to leave that I would no longer have a functioning wheel cover over my spare. It didn't look like they tried to preserve it at all.. It took them over 2 hours to change my tires. They did refund all of my money though. Either way, I'll never go back to another firestone company.. I have changed my oil here twice so far and the service has been great! They complete the services needed at the time and give recommendations if any car issues come up during check up, without pressuring you into anything. My service advisor Joe was great today and gave me a breakdown of what was done to my vehicle as well as tire options without trying to sell me- including a discount in my services for today. They also provided me with transportation back to work since the length of service was longer than expected. All the guys in there are very nice, kinda funny too. I had the pleasure to do business with these guys this summer. I was driving home from work and all of a sudden, my A/C stops working. My husband and I were gearing up to leave at 4 am that next morning to drive up to South Dakota. (14-16 hr drive) They did a series of test and then told me that the compressor was completely shot, and that it needed to be replaced. I was devastated at the cost... My boyfriend and I have both brought our cars here and never really had good luck. They quoted my boyfriend a ridiculous amount for a fix on his brakes and after taking it elsewhere their first suggestion was to get the brake fluid changed. Then when I took in his truck because the check engine light was on they charged 100 just to run diagnostic which seems like a lot and then they said the max air flow sensor needed replacing which would cost another 335. After calling around that's about 100 more than everywhere else I called. I just don't trust them especially since their prices are crazy. Recently relocated to Plano and came here for an oil change only. Car has been very well maintained and kept up to date on scheduled maintenance, oil changes and tire rotation/replacement. Only one car ahead of me and it took 45min. When I returned the 'area sales manager' informed me that my BRAND NEW TIRES (2300mi NON Firestone tires) were 'feathering' and I needed a front end alignment. They also tried to up sell fuel additive and fuel system cleaning. Upset there may be something wrong with my tires and no prior indication of alignment issues with my previous or current NEW tires, I went back to tire store where they were purchased and had them put my car up on the rack to inspect. I have gone to these guys on for many years. Purchased new tires here when not covered by the road hazard insurance from my car dealer. I have always had a good experience before and I trusted that they were not out to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge and were truthful. This time, not so much. I really feel they broke my trust. I called this morning to see if they had tires for my car in stock. they looked up the standard tire size for my car and yes. quoted me a fair price on two tires ($155/tire) and an alignment. The problem came when they saw my car had an upgraded wheel package and needed a different size tire...the tire they offered was $100/tire more the price of the original quoted tire ($249/tire). I get size difference can make a price difference. I asked the manager if there were cheaper alternatives --he said no. All of this was a legitimate conversation and above board. I specifically asked him if I am going to find a better price on a tire that size elsewhere. He said he didn't think so plus it was doubtful that another place would have that size in stock since it is unusual. Well come to find out Discount Tire has a comparable tire in my size and in stock that was $177/tire and a less expensive one for $144/tire, more expensive alternatives as well. He had a range of different tires in stock. Unfortunately, Discount Tire was closing at 5:00 and it was 4:30...I ended up keeping the tires because I could not have gotten my old tires put back on and gotten to Discount Tire prior to closing...but I will never buy tires from Firestone again. For now, I am stuck with them to do rotations...until the back tires need replacing. I don't know if they changed management or what...it is sad when you feel taken advantage of which is what I feel now.
