Ordered 4 tires and only 3 showed up. Jake Burns told me shipping lost it and couldn't order another tire until the 4th arrived. Otherwise i'd pay a overstock fee even though their inventory stated they had 2 left in stock. And it's been 3 weeks and still have yet to receive my tire. TL;DR: Stay away from this shop and company. Poor organization, communication and overall customer service. I've been to this location 3 times. First one was uneventful. Second time, the damage was not quite at the no-repair area but it was somewhat close so they insisted the tire has to be replaced. 3rd time was a nightmare. I got a roofing nail in my tire in the late afternoon. It's about 1.5 hrs before their closing time but I had another appointment that day so I figured I'll call and see if they can fit me in. They tell me it's no problem. I go there with 1hr left of working time and check in. 40min later I'm still waiting and realize it's not going to happen. I'm a bit frustrated but I did go there quite late so no big deal. I make an appointment for the next day at 10AM. Next day, I'm there 10min early, check in and the guy assures me they will take care of it and that their repairs are free. Right there, alarm bells start going in my mind - there is no way they do free repairs left and right so they must be making everything look unrepairable. But I know the nail is right in the middle of my tire and I've had similar kind of damage repaired plenty of times so I decide to risk it. It was close to an hour later that they finally took my car in the shop (what was the point of my appointment?) and tell me the damage is too big to repair. I try to argue for a while but they insist they can't repair it. Do they have the tire in stock - no, it will be 3-4 business days. And it's Thursday, so there goes the weekend. I'm not too happy not having a car for so long and even less so leaving it at their shop (it's a 1yr old car) - I try to have them put the tire back so I can leave and come back but they refuse that too. I call on Monday morning to see if the replacement tire has arrived - it is, and they tell me, the car will be ready by 2PM. Didn't hear from them by 3PM so I call - they are very busy, but the car will be ready in an hour. I call in an hour - not done yet but it's the next car they will work on. I had to go to a few meetings at which point it's 30min before their closing time so I just head to the shop. I'm there with 15min left just to find my car still in the parking lot, not touched at all. The guy at the reception springs into action and goes and installs the tire himself on the parking lot. Overall, a huge waste of my time and a ton of frustration. I would've been more than happy to pay for a repair even if it was the same price as a new tire - not having my car for so long and having to make alternative arrangements, the bullshit about the tire not being repairable - it's way too much! read more

Made an appointment for 11:45AM. Arrived at 11:30AM but they didn't start on my car until 12:30PM. Annoying but I was having them inspect a tire I didn't buy there. They fixed for free without any hassle including balancing and airing up all tires. Friendly staff and very COVID safe. They will match others prices which is nice. Discount Tire in Redmond is a great store for getting cheap tires. I was looking to replace the awful Run Flats on my BMW and Costco had a deal on some amazing Michelins. I decided to check the price at Discount Tire, they not only matched the Costco price but comprehensively beat it, on 800 dollar tires, I ended up saving 100 dollars on the Costco price. The reason I gave them a shot is because in the past they repaired a flat for free for me. Highly recommend everyone to come here to get new tires! I had a really good experience. Chris Dang is the reason why I came to this location specifically. He was able to order me the tires that I really wanted and he got them shipped in one day for me. He made sure that his coworkers took care of me and made it such an easy experience for me to get new tires. He didn't work today but he called into the shop to make sure everything went smoothly for me. I came in at 8am to get my tires done today but turned out, two were sold by accident, the workers Eric and one of the white dudes there (sorry, I forgot your name he was working mainly in the front) were able to assist me and order me two of the same tires for same day shipping. Read some reviews raising COVID issues so I thought I'd share my great experience. They have transformed the whole process so you drive through to check in and someone comes to your car for your consultation. I got constant updates through automated texts to my cell phone. These guys go above and beyond and are so nice. I had a feeling something wasn't right with my truck after service work including rotor and brake pad replacement at the Ford dealership. With upcoming road trip towing a travel trailer, we wanted to ensure all was good-- no surprises on trip. The short version is, they checked pressure, balanced and rotated tires AND found a pry tool wedged in the leaf springs with wear marks on handle indicating it was rubbing on axel. Took my SRX in to have the TPMS sensors installed. MDe an advance online appointment and they were ready when I drove up. $360 and 45 minutes I was told they were done and the sensor light was off. I thought that was strange as i never heard the horn honk. When you relearn the sensors the horn honks once for each wheel and twice when it is done. I get in the car and the TPMS warning is off but I also dont have any pressure readings from the tires. I go back inside and ask them what is going on they told me I need to drive the car for 20 minutes so the computer can learn the sensors. So I drive Redmond to Fall City and no readings and the warning light is back on. Now I drive to Autozone in Kirkland and buy their TPMS learning tool. The salesman offers to show me how it works. We put in the battery, start the car and set it to learning mode and he walks to the left front tire, beep, the next, beep, and a beep for the next 2 and then two beeps. Job is done. It took him 60 seconds. TPMS sensors show 4 tires at 35 lbs. Why couldnt Discount tire do this? I know they have the tools because they have done sensors for me before and I have heard the horn beep cycle. I am so dissapointed in Redmonds Discount Tire. I had to pay $42.99 + tax to get my car working correctly after a half assed job at Discount Tire. read more

Here is my experience: I call around and Discount Tires had the best price for Continental Extreme contact dws tires. So I ordered them at an awesome price that no other store could beat. It was special ordered so I had to wait for it to ship to them. It was a minor miscommunication thinking I could have pick the tires up on a Friday but it wasn't going to arrive till Monday. No worries, this store had awesome customer service so they had an employee drive to the Bellevue location store to pick it up the same tires from another customer so that I can have mine first and when my tires arrive. They will drive them over to the Bellevue store for the other customer. That is awesome customer service because I schedule those tires to be mount in my polish rims and car at the Mecerdes dealership that same Friday. I pickup those those tires on that Friday and was on my way. They roll them to my car and put them into my SUV. They went beyond my expectations and turn a barrier/challenge into a happy ending. I was on the search for new tires and I thought I was going to buy mine at Costco until I found out that it was cheaper through Discount Tire! I was able to save 10% and 5% by signing up for their credit card and additional rebate. I was able to save over $100 compared to buying the Michelin Defender tires here than through Costco. Setting up an appointment online for tire installation was really easy, and I barely had to wait at all when I arrived to have the tires installed. I scheduled an appointment for winter tire changeover at your Redmond WA. location and was just a couple minutes late to my appointment. Anyway Chris gets me checked in after waiting a few minutes at the station outside, I park and go inside to complete the transaction. Chris then starts chastising me about the importance of being on time for appointments. No shit. But life happens, I took time out of my busy work schedule to get my tires changed over- if they have to re-schedule me, that's fine- but I refuse to be talked down to like a child. It was embarrassing and disrespectful. I didn't say anything to him and let him continue to ramble on about it. Still having not said anything to him, I'm then told that he will make an exception to me and allow me to keep my appointment. He let me know that it would be about 45 minutes and they won't be ready for my vehicle until about 1210 (1130 appointment) that indicates to me that being 9 minutes late had no impact on when my vehicle would have been serviced. This employee doesn't deserve to be in customer service, or the manager of the store that instructs them to talk to customers that way. I have a long purchase history with discount tire going back more than 10 years. But I'm done now. I will not be returning to discount tire, I'll take my business elsewhere. Your TikTok account also says that getting Winter tires put on are free- $100 is far from free, but I guess that's just not true. Today was the second time I've gone to this store with a leaky tire. First time was my car, today was for a trailer. Both times the staff were incredibly professional and friendly, they took care of my problem, and didn't charge anything for the service to fix the leaky tires. I would have been happy to pay a service charge given the cleaning and extra care they took. I will definitely go here first when I need to actually buy new tires! read more

Took truck in for rotation and balance and they lost my hub cap screw. They didn't tell me about it, I inspected in the parking lot when I picked it up. It was quite obvious that a screw was missing, they should have come forth. If I hadn't discovered this my hub cap would have probably flown off on the highway. Dangerous, and potentially expensive. Also on the way home I'm fairly certain that a weight from the balancing flew off. On a separate occasion at this store they broke one of my TPMS sensors putting on new tires. They replaced it, but it was a pain and waste of my time. These guys are too busy to be careful with your vehicle. They schedule too many appointments and run behind often. Expect a 1 hour appointment to extend to 1.5 hours at least. I will not be going back. Ever. read more

I am very disappointed with the overall experience. I really wanted to give Discount Tire a chance but I am now certain that I just can't. 1 - Mechanic did even not bother to tighten the bolt that holds the spare tire in place. After driving away, there was a loud clanking sound and upon checking, the bolt was not even screwed in placed and was just loosely hanging around. 2 - I requested to have my tires inflated to 40psi, and I saw that it was written in the ticket, mechanic did NOT follow the instructions and have it inflated to 32 psi instead. read more

Christ Almighty. The customer service experience provided by Joe (assumably the manager, if not, promote this guy) today was nothing short of spectacular. This guy,..., man. I'm trying to catch my breath. After getting the typical Les ShwabMiserables treatment down the block, I was recommended by a friend to this location of Discount Tire specifically. Joe was lightning quick. He understood every metric, every price match, was knowledgeable about every tires characteristics, Why I should pick certain wheels/sizes, he was able to (after we picked a tire) find another set at a nearby store to complete the order, and all this occurred within about ten minutes on my lunch break at 12. The second set of tires arrived at 3:00 as Joe said they would and I had a newly fitted ride waiting for pickup at about 3:10. As a young college kid, I explained to Joe my budget but that I wasn't trying to sacrifice quality. He fit the budget perfectly after making some individual price adjustments for things like labor, installation, etc. Just an absolutely stellar guy. I will never, ever, go anywhere else. One time I had a bad tire I thought they could fix but needed to be replaced I didn't have the money to do it that day. They told me we can't let you drive on that it's not safe then they gave me a free tire. That's customer service Today I bought new tires. The weights were running but didn't notice until I got home. I had to have my car towed here, which went smoothly but I ended up waiting for maybe 3 to 5 minutes before someone was able to help me. All the guys working the desks were friendly and told me it would be just a minute before they could help me. When it was finally my turn, I was helped by Jon. There was some confusion over the quote I received on the phone and he told me the price I was quoted-which was $344.10-was only for two tires and that four tires would be over $400. I told him that I double checked with the person I talked to on the phone as to whether my quote included four tires, and said that the guy on the phone said yes, four tires were included. With no further discussion, Jon found a way to match the quote I received on the phone. I was a little irritated, but happy he could match the price. He actually got it two cents less than the price I was quoted on the phone. Then he told me they only had one of the tires that I wanted and three would have to be ordered and would be there by tomorrow, so he could have the car ready by noon tomorrow. He asked if there was anything else he could do for me and was very friendly and smiling. The whole interaction was not seamless, but Jon's friendliness and ability to make it work out the way I wanted it, made it worth it. We will see how well the tires hold up. read more

This is hands down the best tire place i've ever been to. There are so many things they don't charge loyal customers for that other places would gouge on. The service is fantastic. We also had a travel experience where with a slow leak in Montana they took care of us well -- even though they didn't have replacements they put an equivalent tire so we could complete our trip and have replacements put on afterwards in redmond. Yesterday, I had tires installed and noticed 3 issues that are just downright embarrassing for a tire shop. Consider that a tire shop should be an expert in the installation and maintenance of tires. I used to be a professional mechanic, so It was rather easy to see through their bullshit. Issue 1. The two front tires still had the plastic sleeve sticker from a fedex shipping label attached. Noticed it and went back, and explained that the label should be removed, and furthermore the tire needs to be re balanced as it has now been balanced with foreign material attached. They complied and fixed the issue Issue 2. Tire pressure was inaccurately set. Their computer initially came up with the incorrect tire pressures for the car. I showed them the correct pressures (they are always on the door jam on the driver door, and assuming the tires are the same size and load rating that value should be maintained). They agreed to set the tire pressures I specified. The next morning, I checked the tire pressure (tire pressure should be checked cold) and noticed that every single one of the tires were wrong. My tire pressure should be 35 front, 36 rear, and instead I found 32.5 front left, 33 front right, 34 front left, 32.5 right rear). I'm at a loss as to what to think if they cannot accurately set tire pressure. The discrepancy of pressure side to side is telling. Issue 3. The procedure for setting lug nut torque was bizarre, and I would not consider it to be accurate. Wheel torque should always be confirmed with a torque wrench, that does not use any extensions. What I witnessed was a torque wrench, with a torque stick attached to it to set torque. Torque sticks are made to be used with an impact wrench, and are not to be considered accurate, just enough to get you in the ballpark. You always true up with a torque wrench. I do not understand how a torque stick attached to a torque wrench can produce an accurate torque reading on the torque wrench itself. Its possible this last issue is an acceptable practice today, but when I was a mechanic, this would never have flown. Overall, I expected better. All this company does is tires and wheels. Their execution should be flawless. I've used discount tire many times in the past, but this most recent experience was quite the disappointment. read more
