I had a tire that had been installed at a different chain and they flat repaired it for me and sent me on my way and I was done in an hour and a half. They do sloppy work. Never reset my Honda to show tires had been trusted & forgot to put tire cap back on. They also sell you a tire warranty that's basically no good if you're anywhere outside the area. read more

Ridiculous. Sales representative lied to me. Said tires I needed were on back order. Then states there was some in a store in Albuquerque. He then stated he would order them for me and would be in the following day. Guess what? He never made the order, and the other store in Santa Fe had them in stock the whole time. No this might not seem like a big deal, but if you've ever had to have your tires changed at a Discount tire on a Saturday you will wait hours if you don't make an appointment. Came at 9:30 still here at 10:50 waiting in the parking lot. The estimated time for them to "finish" was at 10:45 all I needed was for them to fix my tire since it keeps getting low. No ones came except guy in the beginning who filled all the tires except the one the actually low? And literally put one tire at 45psi when they are supposed to be at 35. Visited this Discount Tire in early December. I was on vacation from Dallas Tx. I have never seen such kind, good customer service from a group of guys in my life. I'd just left a car dealership where I was told I needed a new tire. The cost would be over $200. On a hunch left and drove to the Santa Fe Discount Tire. Was told they had the tire. The price quoted was less than the car dealership down the road then when all was said and done the tire was repairable. No charge! You can't beat that. Sidenote. Terrible tire shop. Extremely ghetto service. Bought $1,000 120k mile tires for my Honda. Brought them in at 30k to get them rotated and balanced. First they lied to me saying the tread was worn unevenly and that I needed to purchase new tires if I wanted balanced tires. The when they finally gave up on their forced sale attempts, they rotated and balanced them and broke one of the pressure gauges. I then had to miss another day of work to come back where they left me sitting in the waiting area for over 2 houses before looking at it. After looking at it they claimed that one of the gauges were older than the rest even though the car is literally only 2 years old, and even though I didn't have any tire pressure issues on my dash before coming to see them. I highly recommend against buying tires from here. The staff only cares about selling new tires regardless of whether or not they are needed and they WILL LIE TO YOU to see if you know what you're doing. read more

Spent a weekend in Santa Fe and wound up at this place when the tire pressure light went on in my rental, and naturally, I did not have a tire pressure gauge. I pulled up to their "free air pressure assessment" station where they've got an all-in-one machine that checks the pressure and fills your tires to the appropriate place --- and the staff handle it all for you for free! Once I pulled up, I was immediately assisted and on my way in less than 5 minutes. The man helping me was nice enough to throw in some caps for the tires because apparently they had rented me a car without one and he didn't want them to try to charge me for missing caps. Horrible service! Did not inform me that they 'forgot' my car and did not get the tire changed, not completing the job at the time they stated. Resulting in an extra trip for me. Then after promising to save the tire as under warranty, they 'lost' it. A very lame bunch. If you go there often, you can see why as it is a constantly rotating cast of characters. Rude and retards. I came to inflate my tires, and i had to argue with them to bring them to 83psi hot, they are reading the max 83psi COLD on the tire. Awful. Do these employees work on commission? I needed to replace ONE tire due to a slow leak on my 2018 Honda Pilot. I was told that they will not replace one tire because this can ruin the alignment and axel on the car. My options for tires would cost somewhere between $850-$1200. I left unhappily after saying that I would not be replacing all four tires and would be willing to sign a release not to hold them accountable for damage to my car. They would not budge. We went there on June 2 with a tire that showed low pressure. We left the car there while we took care of some business. Edward and Miguel worked on our car. They removed all four tires, balanced them and filled the tires to correct pressure. Turns out all 4 were low. Edward and Miguel were very courteous and efficient. Our wait time was minimal. this location is by far my favorite! They have a new store now that is very nice and right next to the old one. You can tell their employees work very hard and also seem to be having fun. Witnessed them handling a customer who let's just say, was less than kind. They were extremely professional and courteous and tried to exceedingly make amends for his issue (which was ridiculous, these guys deserve a raise for dealing with cranks like that). This other gentlemen was reading off all of the bad reviews on Google about this store to their faces and taunting them. It was insane! people are crazy The manager Devin handled the situation after that with utmost tact and even treated his employee with respect, diffusing the situation. He should be the textbook example on how to handle the tough situations and still make the upset customer feel important and heard. Talk about self control from the entire team. Top notch for service. We woke up in our RV to find we had a flat tire, called our insurance to have the tire changed, but were left with the flat tire on the floor of the RV. The towing company said they could not replace the tire under the vehicle because it was too big. I used Yelp to find a tire repair facility and completely agree with their rating, tops! I purchased some Michelin tires and financed them through Discount Tire Synchrony Car Care. More than 6 weeks after the purchase I stopped in to Discount Tires stating that I had not been contacted by Discount Tire Syncrony Bank. I indicated I wanted to just pay the balance off. I was told I could not, that I had to contact Synchrony Bank. On Monday, 4/15/2019 I finally received the **FIRST** Discount Tire Synchrony Bank invoice in the mail. The invoice states that I am PAST DUE - AMOUNT PAST DUE $47.00. I can not be past due when I have never heard from Synchrony Bank prior to 4/15/2019. There is a "LATE FEE" of $27.00 tacked on. This is a complete sham. I feel the whole transaction was designed / engineered to force me to pay more for the tires. As the saying goes "Buyer Beware"!. Now you know! With this kind of shady operating, I will not buy tires from Discount Tire when the time comes in the futures. read more
