If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I was so absolutely blow away by their service, professionalism, and pristine location. I truly called everyone on my way home to let them know how impressed I was by this spot. I have to also mention that their parking lot is private and spacious, which is so very nice. Also, this business was immaculate. Working with cars, let alone tires, is not a clean business, but you would never know stepping into this place. Getting a flat tire is never convenient. The employees at Discount Tire, however, turned that inconvenience into a thing of the past. I arrived around 10 o'clock and was rolling before the clock hit 11. Upon my arrival I was greeted with great friendliness and professionalism. From there the employee took care of absolutely everything. Upon explaining my problem, he walked out to take a look. In a show of what seemed to be genuine concern, he even took a brief moment to visually inspect my other tires. Just to be sure nothing else was wrong. He was confident he could patch my tire, but had already made sure they had my tire type available should that not be possible. Once he had everything he needed, he stepped away to get started. I stepped out to make a phone call, which is when the employee came back out to tell me that they could just take my tire, fix it, and then put it back on for me when I came back. That way I wouldn't be stuck there. Love that!! I had other errands to run, so even though I was getting a flat fixed, Discount Tire made sure it didn't interrupt my day. I had run one single errand before they were calling me back to let me know that my tire was ready! I rolled up and was immediately greeted by two employees who should be working for NASCAR. They had my spare off and my patched tire back on in no time. They even made sure my spare was filled with air before putting in back in my trunk! Then my mind was truly blown. Their tire patching service was FREE. I'm not sure if it was because I was a first tire customer, or if this is just their policy, but I couldn't believe it. I took a 1965 Corvette with aftermarket knockoff wheels to Discount Tire on Laskin Road in Virginia Beach to have tires replaced due to belt breaking in the tires. Keith, Dee, Brad and all the techs could not have been nicer and patient trying to figure out how to remove the wheels. This particular wheel had a pin to keep the knock off spinner from loosening. After a couple of tries, Keith helped the techs remove the wheels and replaced the tires efficiently and with great care. I cannot say enough good things about Discount tire. We had heard many people talk about the first class service that Discount Tire at Hilltop provides, but had never experienced it ourselves until today. My wife took her Lexus GX460 in to have them install our existing tires on new rims, balance and then re-install on the car. Although the new rims were original Lexus rims, they did have a few issues that had to be sanded down to make them fit correctly. They did everything that was needed and the final result was outstanding. They really went out of their way to make everything work when it would have be so easy for them to say that the new rims could not be installed. Starting off with the positives: nice employees and they got me in quick. I also love that they'll repair a hole in your tire even if you didn't purchase the tire from them. The only negative I've experienced is that their tech broke one of my tire's psi gauges when putting on a new tire and when I brought my car back to bring it up, they told me it was just dead and they could replace it for $60ish. It wasn't just dead. It was broken in half. I shouldn't have to pay money to replace something they broke because they weren't careful taking my old tire off/putting on the new one. Especially after I had just paid close to $1,000 on new tires. I get that accidents happen, I just wish they'd have owned up to it and not tried to get even more money out of me. read more

I purchased some tires this week for our Mercedes 2022 GLE350 SUV. I was very impressed with the service, cleanliness and the entire operation at the Discount Tire store on Laskin Road in Virginia Beach. Today I went back and got some tires for my wife's Mercedes 350 GLK. When we arrived at the store there was a problem with the Command Display on my wife's SUV. The radio, telephone and Navigation screen was dark and did not work. Dee Riser who is an Assistant Manager at the store came out to check out the car and my wife told Dee about the problem we were having with the Command system. Dee went on YouTube and found where the fuse was for the system. Found the fuse and cleaned it off and replaced it and the system then worked fine. No charge and I am sure if we had taken to the Mercedes Dealer they would have charged us an arm and a leg for a fix to the system. Obviously Discount Tire has a great training system and culture. Guys like Dee are very hard to find in 2023. This outfit is so far ahead of the other local tire stores I have visited. I will tell all my friends to give Discount Tire a try. Thanks again Dee... I needed to get my truck state inspected but it failed due to me missing 1 lug nut on every wheel. Last people to touch them was this place so I was a little confused if someone would go as low as to steal them or if maybe there was an error with putting them back on. Long story short there was an error with my wheels, something to do with the security one maybe they didn't have the size I honestly didn't quite catch what did happen and why I didn't because the worker just threw all of it aside and got to working on getting me a new one. He explained it very well as to why I didn't but honestly it went over my head as usual. He tried seeing if he had the size I needed in stock but he didn't and called around to lots of locations and places to get me the size I needed and did the job extremely fast. Granted it doesn't take too long anyways but it definitely felt like it wasn't on his to do list but made it the top priority and I was extremely grateful. The gentleman's name was Keith and he deserves so much for his efforts. I don't know what his role is there but he did it all. He spoke on the phone with me, got me in same day, did the fittings, called around, and then put them on and I maybe spent an hour if that tops. I come here for my tires every time and they always treat me so well and get stuff done asap. I could recommend no better place especially if you're in a rut they will make it right for you. It went flat within 24 hours and I was told at discount that the tread in the used tire was barely legal. So I was able to come to Discount instead and they took great care of me. Where has Discount Tire been all my life?!? Needed some fresh tires for my Jeep so I decided to give DT a try. The process for the whole thing was easy as can be. Using their website to shop for tires, once I made my decision, it allowed you to pay for them and book an appointment to install them right then and there. The day of the appointment, a representative contacted me in advance to confirm the appointment and let me know that since they already had the tires I wanted in stock, that I could come in whenever I wanted to put them on. Once I arrived, the gentleman at the counter was beyond nice and informative of getting me checked in and updating me along the way. Within 30 minutes I was out the door.
