    I had a screw in my tire and started losing tire pressure while driving to work. I stopped and put air in my tire just to make it to work and to my lunch break. I went to a place to get my tire patched and explained I was on my lunch break. However, I was told it would be over two hours before they could even get to my car. RNR was across the street, and I drove over. When I came in, the sales person was on the phone. He noticed that I was antsy and promptly told the person on the line he would have to call them back. I explained my situation, letting him know I was trying to get my tire repaired and get back to work as soon as possible. The sales person, James, told me it would be no problem and was very empathic regarding my situation. He got my car taken back quickly and constantly gave me updates. I greatly appreciate the kindness and customer service that James offered.

Moreover, he told me that O'Reillys price matches in-stock Amazon items exclusively sold/shipped by Amazon. This is a huge game changer when it comes to frugal bargain car part shopping; plan ahead though because they can't guarantee 2 day shipping. When you buy car batteries from Advance Auto Parts, make a calendar reminder to have it checked periodically so that you can take advantage of the warranty that will replace any defective battery within the stated period. He graciously installed the new battery for me with no charge. I never felt duped or pressured into buying items that I didn't need or understand. I don't claim to be a guru when it comes to car parts and accessories so I do appreciate the honesty and willingness to help. Located in the Southern Shopping Center, the store has its own small parking lot. They do offer a 10% military discount but if you sign up to receive their emails; you'll find various promotions that tout 20% off when you order online for delivery or pick up in the store. An overall positive experience and I'll continue to patronize this business for my car care needs and accessories. They are able to look you up by telephone number if you need your order history. If an item isn't in stock, they'll check their database to see what nearby location has it or have it special ordered. Most people would think they'd just have the little tree air fresheners and items to wash your car but they have an array of products to keep your car looking good, smelling good and running even better.

However, I do call ahead of time to make sure that the parts are available and the two times that I visited here everything has been available and ready for pick up at the front desk. I actually have a mechanic that I work and he has a reputable reputation with the company as well so everything works out perfectly... availability and deals! The store is a little hard to spot from the road but if you have any GPS system it should guide you spot on! I used my Google Maps without worry. The shop is kind of small however they do have a few shelves of items that you can browse around to see if it's anything else that you need for your vehicle but they mainly specialize in imported cars. And store is pretty much for stocking items and not so much on the main floor. The building does appear larger from outside. No sugar coating here... they're definitely straight and to the point with you. A great group of guys. Parking is alongside the store on the street or there is parking directly behind the building. Be careful heading back on the main street... super busy area of Norfolk. They usually close at 6 during the week and a little earlier on Saturday...call ahead to verify. From the moment I approached the service window, my interaction with an older male employee, who appeared to be approximately in his 60s, was unprofessional and discourteous. I began the conversation politely by asking how he was doing, but was immediately met with an unfriendly attitude and a tone that came across as dismissive and entitled. Throughout the interaction, he behaved as though he personally owned the facility rather than serving customers who rely on the shop's services. My visit was simply to perform an oil change on my vehicle. As a first-time user of one of the vehicle lifts, I respectfully asked for assistance and a brief demonstration on how to operate the equipment safely. Instead of providing guidance, I was told to "figure it out" on my own. Given the potential safety concerns involved with operating automotive lifts, I found this response both inappropriate and concerning. When I acknowledged the sarcastic tone and lack of assistance I was receiving, the employee became defensive and stated that he would not tolerate my "attitude." Despite the fact that I had only requested help and expressed concern about how I was being treated, he refused to provide service, closed the service window in my face, and effectively ended the interaction without resolving the issue. I was genuinely surprised by the level of disrespect and lack of professionalism displayed during this encounter. Customers should be able to seek assistance, especially when operating unfamiliar equipment, without being treated poorly or denied service. The experience left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I believe this situation warrants review by management. Customer service representatives, particularly those working in facilities designed to support service members, their families, and authorized patrons, should demonstrate professionalism, patience, and a willingness to assist. Based on my experience, this employee's conduct fell far short of those expectations. I hope management will investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure future customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

The girl in the front desk had the worse attitude. We decided to just take our business elsewhere. I guess they take their job security for granted.
