Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!!. My wife and daughter was looking for a place to get my daughter's car tire looked at because she had a slow leak in her rear driver side tire. So they found this place and my wife asked me to go with our daughter so the possibility of her getting swindled was little to none with me accompanying her here!. When I arrived ( my daughter got here before me ) she said they told her to park on the side so they could look at it, the gentleman looked at the tire size and asked us to follow him and showed us a used tire then asked what the issue was and then proceeded to investigate the leak in the tire. After further inspection he found out it was a piece of sharp bent up metal lodged into her tire that was causing the slow air leakage. The gentleman immediately said he could fix it which was a major plus because her tires were basically new and had a a lot of tread on them! After he pulled the metal out and plugged the hole it was as good as new and he stated it would last the full length of the tire life. I will say this was a quick and convenient transition by this gentleman, he was polite the whole way through and also asked how my daughter and I was doing today when we first arrived!. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but his professionalism was through the roof during this short transaction of getting my daughter's tire plugged up! They also let us know they had free air ( which is hard to find anywhere nowadays )! Other than Wawa I don't know anywhere else that offers free air anymore. Paying for air is preposterous but that another topic for another review on another day! I would definitely return and I'm sure my daughter will too. I would also recommend anyone in the area to give them your business if you're in the need of tire repair, they're reasonable and professional, knowledgeable and conveniently located with two different locations! Don't waste your money. Bought 2 tires from them, and the first day one of them was going flat. I took it back and then they told me it had a nail in it. Why they would give me a tire with a nail in it, I don't understand. So they patched it - or something - and now I'm on the side of the road with a flat tire. I'm definitely going to get my money back and never buy tires from them again. They don't care what you drive off with or if you die in a car accident because of their tires. read more

I had to leave my car in a shopping center's parking lot with a flat tire and one lug nut with a spinning cap. However, an Empire Tire World mobile tire service technician quickly came to the rescue. Thanks to an electronic money transfer app, I was able to remotely pay a very reasonable fee for a replacement tire and mobile tire service. The mobile technician was very knowledgeable so he quickly removed the lug nut that had a spinning cap and replaced my flat tire. The technician texted me photos to prove the quality work he completed in my absence. I will not be spending money here any more I was loyal customer driving a distance to get tires how you start charging forty for used tires then change to sixty dollars without notice you lost me as customer found a place on George washghton hwy and they way cheaper canal tires you would think they would want to keep there loyal customers I have spent a good amount of money here over the years then owner gone say I'm not there so I can't change it it's your shop you make the rules never heard that before that's crazy look at how far I have to drive I'll spend fifthteen dollars alone in gas to travel to you some times more I felt some type of way about it if I'm gone pay sixty dollars on tire I might as well buy a new one for that price on line with walmart and tires are brand new really that's high way robbery to me it's our on kind try to dig in your pockets economy is high right now I know he got them tires cheaper then what his charging and you only get a thirty day warranty it should be longer warranty paying that price if you want to keep your customers be reasonable on the price that's what keep customers coming back when price is right not charge higher because you can treat customers how you want to be treated When you buy a tire before you got a tire business forty dollars tires not gone break you if anything I'll bring you more customers people love a good deal on tires and don't want there pockets broke buying them when they need a tire if you good to your customers it will pay off in a long run because they'll keep coming back for right price customer service and pricing always matter to customers read more

We left Norfolk for a trip to Charlottesville in the pouring rain Friday afternoon and somehow one of our tires was flat by the time we exited the midtown tunnel. Pulled into the closest tire repair place and they fixed it for less than $28. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes and the tire has had no issues whatsoever since then. The people were friendly, knowledgeable and super efficient. We thought for sure our weekend away was ruined but Empire saved us! read more

Wow!! It's insane what a little bit of common ground can bring to the table!! Renata & Lee were great to me today & I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. They are a small, family run business with Renata working the front desk & Lee just about everywhere. We started talking about health, diet, meal delivery services, exercise, weight lifting & supplements & I feel like I ended up keeping them there a little later than they wanted to be, but they kept bending my ear & I kept on having a new wrinkle to add to the conversation!! It's funny how enjoyable & fun it was chatting with them, I've been in a much better mood since I dropped 30lbs or so & he was talking about needing to get himself back after it as well. Oh, the tires!! So I needed 2 tires replaced to pass Virginia State inspection (just another BS VA thing) & they had 2 tires that were the exact size I needed with PLENTY of tread left on them!! I'm good to go & will definitely recommend them to anyone who has any tire needs!! The best fastest service I have ever received from any car shop. My car caught a flat tire on my way home and while looking on yelp I seen this establishment at the top of the list for mobile tire shops. I tried to get up the road to the shop but my car tire was way to flat so he charged me a small fee and cane within 20 min to change my tire and only took 5-10 min to do . He was very informative and gave great advice on tires and what to do next time . He gave me no trouble and was a nice and professional gentleman . Wow! I'm impressed by the service this company has to offer. I had two, not one, but two flat tires that I needed changed as soon as possible. My first thought is to pay for a tow and pay for the tires at the shop, but this company has changed the game. Empire Tires came to the location of my car right on time and changed both tires in just under 30 minutes. Just wow! They had all of the tools necessary to complete the task in the back of their truck! This is revolutionary! To top it off, the price I paid was way cheaper than a tow truck! You will definitely be seeing me again. Hopefully no time soon though! read more

I went to this tire shop to get my tire changed I brought my own tire so it wouldn't cost me the price of a used tire I went into the store and ask the front desk lady if she could change the front tire with the spare used tire that I brought with me she said sure and then got one of the guys to change the tire before he could change the tire I go into the shop to pay for the change tire they told me that I do not pay for the service until after the service is done after the service was done she told me that it was $27 to change the tire it's $35 for a used tire that's a $8 difference I would have better off paying for a used tire I argued that this is ridiculous so I've tried to come up with several compromises as far as taking the tire off myself and put on back the old tire and taking my business somewhere else or I could just buy a used tire for $35 because the labor would have happened regardless they told me I would have to pay for the $27 and the $35 for the used tire so they wasn't willing to compromise at all I told them they have to call the authorities because I feel like I'm being robbed instead they called the manager the manager shows up and gets physical with me gets violent with me pushing me and trying to damage my car it took a stranger from off the street to see this violence and intervene to pay the $8 difference I argued with the manager this is a whole business and this is supposed to be a discussion not some Street violence and he didn't care he was angry and violence about the whole situation I recommend you do not go here because if you get into any problems or altercations it might turn out into violence all the other five stars and good reviews on this is because those were good outcomes if you have a bad outcome with this place it might even turn into a worse outcome there was no need for violence this was a discussion of at least probably taking the $8 off or giving me a discount for the inconvenience there was no need for violence so beware and be careful of this place if you decide to come here their prices are off you can go to a different place and get better prices their patches $25 and I have a a mechanic that will charge me $20 for the patch and he would have changed charge me $15 to change the tire I had a whole mechanic that would have did it for a way better price and way better professionalism I recommend you do not involve yourself in this store.
