Philip is a honest man, extremely knowledgeable. The dealership went out of their way to repair an electrical issue with my truck, free of charge, when I took delivery of my trailer.I recommend Discover RV. I won't recommend the North Trail brand to anyone who is not prepared to do on-the-fly repairs. The p-trap for the tub was touching the floor and I assume during transit from the factory, the p-trap cracked when going over a pothole. I found this out when taking my first shower and all the water drained out the bottom of the trailer. No owners manual, the one supplied was for a Landmark 5th wheel, and there was been a bit of falling off trim to repair. If you live near to Lodi, I think that Philip would fix it all on warranty, but I live 190 miles from Lodi, so I am doing the repairs on a brand new trailer myself. Traveling from Mississippi, we noticed a brake light and turn signal out on the 5th wheel. Knowing we didn't have an appointment, they got us right in to take a look. Kenny and Mark went above and beyond when they determined it wasn't the trailer but instead a fuse or something under the hood. They spent time troubleshooting and determined we had a bad relay. Although they didn't have the part to replace it, they pointed us in the direction to Auto Zone and we were on our way. Do not ever deal with this company for any thing especially for warranty service work. We have a Keystone Bullet that is still under warranty & we took in for warranty work when we went to pick it up the whole inside was sop & wet. The table was so wet that it ruined it. It never leaked in the past 8 months even in major rain. Went to pick it up, because they said it was all fixed, and they had not done anything & now refuse to fix it or take any responsibility for what happened. The owner, Jason, is rude & very hateful. He had hung up on us & called us names. There are other trailer facilities in the area so I would stay clear of this place. I found discover RV by accident stopping by Flag City to see if they had any RV supplies the lady there sent me next-door to discover RV .They don't have a huge supply of Motorhome/ RV necessities but they have most likely what you need. All the special cleaning solutions doors replacement latches hinges the rubber roof coating and caulking as well as covers for air-conditioners, And roof vents. They also sell recreational vehicles motorhomes and trailers. Phil, the gentleman who helped me was very helpful and seemed to know all about RV repairing and replacement parts. In June of 2020 we purchased a brand new travel trailer from Discover RV. As soon as we arrived the sales man met us promptly and was very polite. We looked at a couple of units and he really paid attention to what my wife was looking for and he directed us to a unit she fell in love with. I never felt any pressure from the sales guy. He was pretty much either you like it or you don't. They really don't haggle on price and with the current demand they don't have to. Overall, I thought the sales price was fair. The purchase process was, well the purchase process. You have to fill out the paperwork and do all of that. While never a fun process, it wasn't bad either. One thing I wasn't really thrilled about is that they charge a separate dealer prep fee. You are always paying the dealership to prep the unit, some just include it in the sales price. The sales manager REALLY wanted to sell us an extended warranty and I was a firm no and he backed off. I will say he did work to get us an interest rate that I thought was very fair! Please note: generally speaking interest rates on RVs are higher than cars. So we wrapped everything up and scheduled to pick the unit up in a couple of weeks. When we picked up the trailer I did feel like they earned the dealer prep fee. This is our 2nd new RV and the other big dealership on hwy 99 did a horrible prep process. The RV was very clean and ready to go. They also spent a significant amount of time with us to make sure that we knew how all the systems worked on the unit, again unlike the other dealership. Like pretty much all new RVs we needed a few small items to be repaired under warranty. I called them up and they scheduled a time for me to drop off the trailer the next week. We did a walk through to show what issues needed addressed. Everything was fixed quickly and we scheduled the pickup. They brought the trailer around front so it was easy to hook up. We did another walk through to confirm everything had been repaired. Overall, I was very happy with the service work. I have read the negative reviews of this place and a few of them seem legit, many seem petty. This place is not as big as the other guys on HWY 99, but they will treat you so much better! read more

I purchased a used RV here on 9/10/2021. A big purchase for me at 65 years young and was looking forward to sharing good times in it with all my grandchildren. From the beginning there was a hassle about the type of hitch the Salesman (Robert) said we would be able to get. They put the wrong type on and it would not be a simple switch to pull our horse trailer. After hours of talking this over with various other employees and managers they came up with the correct type and put it on- another week of waiting....charging us again for the labor of putting it in. You would think they would have replaced it at no charge since it was the error of their salesman. By the way Robert had only been employed there for 3 months. I also asked Robert about the tires (very important to me). He replied that they were nearly new and very good tires. On our first outing when returning home the two tires on the right side blew off all their tread which ripped off the fender and caused damage to the bottom of the trailer. At the tire company we learned that these tires were actually 11 years old!!! I was driving behind the trailer when this happened -- my son almost lost control of the trailer and I was very fortunate that I was able to avoid all the mess that flew back at me and could easily have smashed my windshield. Now they do a safety check on "everything" before they give you the trailer. Something that Robert led us to believe was included in the purchase but found out at time of signing that it actually is a $900 extra charge. Also, I talked to Robert at length about buying a warranty -- again at time of signing I find out that because of the age of the trailer that would not be possible. One reason I went to Discover RV instead of buying from a personal party was to get a warranty and from the things they say on here and on their website about being a family run company and caring that their customers are happy. Of course they will not do anthing about the tires -- and everything is as is. In fact the owner/manager or whoever is in charge -- possibly Jose would not even have the decency to return my call about the tires. He made Robert be his messenger. I at least appreciate Robert's sincere apology and I feel bad that he is working for a place like this who quite obviously could care less about their customers. Just collect the money and blow you off. Definitely has been one of my worsy experiences. The oven does not work either but I am so unhappy with dealing with this company that I will find someone else to figure that out for me. I truly believe that they put our safety at stake. 11 year old tires are not ok!!! It is recommended that rv tires should be changed out at least by 5 years. I want to put this out here so that others do not make the big mistake that I did! read more

Anyone who buys an RV or has their RV repaired here BEWARE. I had the wheel bearings on my toy hauler packed/serviced ($385.00) prior to a trip this past August 2018. Less than three weeks later a wheel came off in Ely, Nevada. Stranded for two days and $480.00 later we were able to return home with a temporary fix. Discover RV accepted no responsibility and charged me another $325 to "fix" my trailer. I would highly recommend NOT buying anything from a company that does NOT stand behind their work. read more

Discovery Lodi / Unfortunately not very trustworthy, we purchased a class A motorhome from them that had a couple of issues. One the leveling motor needed to be fixed and the second the power steering made noise. I was told the noise was normal. They told me they would fix the leveling pump. Well it's been about a month and I have left messages and have not got a call back, since then I had the steering pump replaced and the noise is gone. Lesson learned, make sure to get everything in writing and have a third party mechanic inspect the rv before you buy from them. We do love our rv but bad experience. read more

Unfortunately, the initial experience with them was the only good one. They do sloppy, incomplete work and will not honor some warranty issues. My couch is warped and I was told,"That's the way they come. Everything is crap today". I have looked at 15 other trailers identical to mine and none of the couches look like mine. Three separate times I have left after having service work done only to find greasy head and hand prints all over everything. Last time, the technician was sweating so much there was a puddle on my bench and table. Never cleaned anything up. They really could care less after the sale. Stay away. It's way too far to go to get screwed. Wrote several letters, owner apparently refuses to address the issues about his business with his customers. Will not return, ever. read more

I purchased a trailer over a year ago there. Everyone was happy to get us started. However after having the trailer for over a year we started to have warranty issues. They came out to fix it mobile a few times. The techs showed up one time without any of the gauges to test for the leak in our propane. After Covid started they wouldn't do mobile services anymore. I brought the trailer in to have three main issues fixed. One was a propane leak in the stove. One was both toilets leaked and stuck open while flushing, the third was the cabinet bottom fell out do to poor craftsmanship from the factory. The toilets and bottom of the cabinets were said to be fixed and they are still tracking down the gas leak replacement part. When I brought the trailer home both toilets still had the issue and now one of them kept filling up thru the night. If I didn't catch it it would have overflown and damaged the floor of the trailer. I contacted them and they said the trailer toilets were both fixed but there are many parts that can leak.... so when this was done, none of the toilets were checked after installation of new parts. I asked the owner Jason to call me. It has been a week with no return phone call. I went out and purchased a new toilet so we didn't have an overflow issue and installed it myself. I'm still awaiting when I can get the gas part for the stove. No phone calls of an update until I contact them. Very frustrating to be dealing with this. The trailer was in their yard for 3 weeks and it still didn't get everything repaired. With the work being done I don't think it was complete or quality. The inside of the trailer was a mess. Wood screws on the floor, shavings and foot and hand prints on the walls and floor. Currently have not had a good experience read more

Called from Sac to come see a unit, spoke to Don. Seriously the nicest man ever! He needs to go work at another place & be a manager! He showed us our unit, very knowledgeable. We wanted the cheapest&smallest. FYI THIS PLACE IS FLAT RATE NO NEGOTIATING! We decided to go in for financing, i had cash on hand because the finance guy Jose Guzman did not even try to get us the best rate from the beginning with excellent credit! First rate 8.99 i was like what!?? I asked what bank he kept ignoring my question. Little did he know my husband & I are not some dummies. LOOK AT THE DETAILS PEOPLE, dont just sign or you will be paying double the worth because he got you a lower payment! First it says im paying 19000 off ok makes sense payment is high because he started with 8.99 apr. than he says put money down it will go down. I put 3000 down it dropped barely. Than i tell him i want an lower monthly pymt and how the heck do you get apr 8.99 and not lower with such good credit!? He says let me see but what can you do. I tell him cash 5000 he comes back with 14 years payments now it is lower payment, interest high as hell and i am paying like i own 2 travel trailers literally the paper said 28000!. This dude literally gave us 6 sheets of different totals trying to play us into accepting one because they will not lower the price or cut out any fees. If you got full cash payment they will love you. If you want to finance DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR HIGH MONTHLY PAYMENTS! He can get it lower he just wont and acts like he cant because they want to make their money. The papers that he brings you do not go to the bank its all his computer crap. When i asked who his boss is he said the bank, but later when his boss jason came to do the final sale pitch he acted like he didnt say that. DON RUN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, Jason was nice in the beginning but did not budge helping us get the travel trailer we wanted, he owns the place and couldve worked something out but no , jose wow no other words you can tell this dude was a salesman before his tacts speak for themselves. He said to get the $2000 5 yr warranty to lower pymts and that didnt even make sense on the papers. And the 5 yr warranty doesnt cover shit but a broken fridge and some other bull. No roof leaking. He said thats maintenance. Wow. told me to sit when i was ready to leave wanted me to finance 28000 for a travel trailer of 16900 price !? Oh and when you mention your bank or any other bank he shoots you down and says you will get the same from them or go ahead get a check and come back.
