This review is for the service department. After purchasing the trailer, we had a run around of information on when it was to be delivered to the facility. This is where the frustration began. There was some pretty significant damage to part of the wrap during transport, and that was fine, it was going to be getting fixed... we were told it was ordered and given an approx. date. That date came and apparently it was not ordered, but another part we needed was. To get that taken care of was beyond frustrating. Upon picking it up, another part we needed was not ready, so again we would have to drive down and drop it off. Even after this last drop off, after making the appointment because we were called and told the part was ready, the part is not ready and we have to wait some unknown time for it to "hopefully" show up. Each time we have brought our RV in for maintenance/ to get a repair, we have never been greeted. As well when we went to pick it up. Each time we have stood inside and not one person has asked if we needed help or even said they would be right with us. Most times there were at least 2 people not with someone, and many other staff walking in and out. When dropping it of, most staff sat at their desks starring out as we unhooked- it would have been better worth our time, if we could have been checked in while we unhooked. (We even received a call to do a survey about how service went and we did not have the trailer finished yet, so it is hard to give feedback for that.) We had several more conversations with the service department and a few more survey calls which, because we did not have the service complete, we could not give feed back properly. Upon our last pick up, after all the parts had arrived, we finally had a better encounter. I completely understand that they are busy with so many trailers to check in, work on and check out, but it would be nice to be have a little more support when showing up. read more

The service is horrible. They make these appointment with you to drop off your trailer thinking it will be done quick.......WRONG! Our trailer is under a year old and we've had it in twice for little things, it has taken around 2 months both times! You call the service department and it's always the same thing, "it should be done in the next day or two". I would definitely recommend getting your service done somewhere else if your trailer is not under warranty. read more

So I finally received my trailer back and was way over charged for a bulk seal repair after having it there since January. When I brought it home I noticed my spare wheel cover missing. I called Jethro and he said they looked for it around the shop and couldn't find. Pretty much made feel like I was lying or they just didn't care. He asked for a picture of it with still nothing done yet. So I hunted down a picture when I last took her out before sending it to them. Please what ever you do avoid these these thieves. We purchased a brand new 2023 Jayco 25RB. We thought we inspected it well but we still missed a few things. Top cabinet above the TV has ripped ceiling and wires. We are told can't be fixed. They moved panel so it cuts across the cabinet to cover and called it fixed. So that cabinet is not usable. Bought about 3 months still waiting on warranty work and what has been done is terrible. See pictures. They also ruined my entry rug when in for service and I got a sorry. This is our 2nd trailer and our 1st new one, it's been very disappointing experience so far. I have posted a few bad reviews, not because I enjoy doing this but to alert others and avoid the HELL they have put us through. When you spend over $160,000 on anything, you expect the company to be able to provide support and professional service. Our purchase was the most disappointing experience. They had our RV longer than we had since 2021 in for warranty work. Get this, we added solar, the idiots only put one small panel which couldn't possibly charge one battery. Had hoped under new ownership there would be improvements within the Service Dept, but nothing has changed. Tom the manager should have been replaced long ago. We have had work done improperly, or not at all when we were told completed. Last week we brought our Jayco in due to a refrig leak that was supposed to have been fixed under warranty a year ago! We were told too bad, give us $275 to evaluate. The part for below the refrig with water damage was supposed to have been ordered a year ago, never heard back... Some local companies who have business ties have told us they do not have good service techs because know one wants to work there. We contacted Jayco, they told us don't go back and referred us elsewhere. Don't waste your time buying there, it has been the worst experience buying a RV we have had in our life! read more

Very bad customer service in the service department! Jose my rep was very bad. Everything we wanted to get approved to be fixed he would say no before when contacting Jayco! They refused to fix most of the stuff during the 2 years. I even had extended warranty that I had to cancel because nothing was ever approved to get fixed. Took it August 2023 to be fixed , had to take him home to wait for the parts. January 2024 I contact them and they are still waiting for the parts! They did that on purpose for my warranty to end and not be covered. Talked to the service manager and he was even worse! Didn't help at all! I asked to speak to someone above him and he said on and no one ever called me. I was going to be upgrading my trailer to a 5th wheel there but after all this horrible service I will never buy anything from them. I received a call last night from someone in customer service asking if I was satisfied with my recent warranty repair. I explained that it was started back in October and it still was not completed. She offered zero help and primarily just wanted to end the call. Afterwards I came to the realization that her attitude mirrored everyone I've encountered for 2 years. They are more concerned about policies, procedures, keeping their boss happy, and appeasing the RV manufacturers, than they are interested is helping customers. We had been looking for a bunkhouse trailer for about a month, and everywhere we looked, they were sold out. Someone told us about Manteca Trailer, and even though it's 2 1/2 hours away, we decided to make the drive to see what they had. We were greeted with a friendly smile from Jacob, and he was fantastic! He showed us what options they had for bunkhouses, and he was not pushy at all when it came to a sale. ZERO contact through the whole duration. Finally got to pick up our trailer after OVER 3 weeks because I called and asked! The one main issue was completely neglected and not fixed. 2 stars because the walk through person and the actual service repair guy were GREAT. FnF Friendly not Fast After waiting about 3 weeks for an appointment I brought our Pleasure Way van it for a certified RV technician to install a device on our refrigerator to prevent overheating the boiler and keep the inside temperature cool while on propane. I had purchased the device earlier and just needed it installed properly. They were very friendly and handed me a flyer stating they would get an update every 3 days...NOT!! In fact over 17 days my voice messages nor emails were NEVER returned. The only time I got an update was when I called and our assigned service representative answered his phone. They were unsure on how to install and said the manufacturer wasn't returning Manteca Trailer and RV's calls. I spoke with the manufacturer who recognized the situation. I decided to try to get warranty work done at Manteca since it was much closer and we had a trip planned for the end of the following week. Awful experience at this place of business not only once but twice. I will not be returning. My first experience a sales rep asked me if I needed assistance and I asked if they price matched and he responded "yes, of course". I pulled up the item off Amazon and got more in depth that it had to be the exact barcode that matches and that it doesn't matter if it is the same exact brand and same exact item...basically trying to give me the runaround. Turned out even the barcode matched and he was almost furious and started to give me attitude and make me feel uncomfortable as he was ringing me up. Pretty poor experience. We picked up an RV, and paid the $600 walk through fee. They sneak that in the paper work. DO NOT sign it The walk through on pick up was completed in less than 15 minutes. We watched walk throughs on YouTube from other dealers that were more in depth. The person walking us through often said "I don't know about that thing, you'll figure it out as you go" As part of the fee the said they would clean the RV, fill it with gas, fresh water and DEF. The gas was empty, the water was at the same level it was 2 weeks ago when we first saw the vehicle ****and the cassette toilet was NOT empty. Disgusting.**** The RV itself had not been cleaned to boot. If I could give a negative star review. I would. Spending that much money on a vehicle is a major event, and we feel utterly taken advantage off and disrespected. read more

Bought our trailer here, great sales, great initial service. We live in Milpitas, 70 miles away. Have had occasional service here, all done quite well. Now we brought our unit in for some major work and it is finished and I want to pick it up and pay for it. I find that the unit can only be picked up when the service person who received it is on duty. I'm not sure, but I suspect that this is a new policy under the new (to us) owners. We are busy people and have only certain days and blocks of hours ON those days when we can roll out to Manteca to pick the thing up. Today I had to schedule for a pickup a week from tomorrow. Well I thought I would give this place another chance. Finally got an appointment to get my 2021 travel trailer looked at. A bolt came up through the linoleum floor. When I went to my appointment in December, a technician looked at the hole in the floor and said it would be 6 weeks out to get it fixed, and I was told to take my RV back home. I was told they need to get approval from the manufacturer, order parts, and then they would be back in touch with me to bring it back in. He text me several weeks later that the damages were approved and that he was ordering parts now. But here we are in April now and I never heard back from them. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE-UNDER NEW NANAGEMENT. We bought a sunset RV trailer from Manteca in 2021 and had great experience and service . It's been in the shop several times . One of the recliners was not connected correctly and they were going to order a new one . Six months later we find out no one ever ordered it . Even after my husband walked in and talked with David ​, who said he would submit the order . The heater recently went out when we were on a trip in 32° weather , and we called Manteca four times and left several voicemail messages . My husband had to go in there and talk to someone named David in service department . He said he would look into it and call us back Friday December, 15th . Once again no call and no follow-up . When we called and spoke with Amanda and customer service she said David was out of the office and she he would call back . No call back . Amanda said that Manteca RV had been sold and it's under new ownership and due to the systems not being connected its very difficult for them to do their job . The service here is terrible , no follow-up , takes a several days and hours to leave messages and still nobody calls back . They used to have great customer service and now it totally sucks . If this doesn't get resolved soon I am going to the Better Business Bureau . read more

Did my research and came down for Jayco. Only 2 dealerships near me. One is Pan Pacific and one is MTM. PP never replied me when I sent questions regarding my concerns. MTM came back with detailed answers and I spoke to Jacob who was really friendly. The day we met was fun and Jacob already picked few models to let me go in based on my requirements and my boss daughter decided Jay Flight 264bhw. I went there for walk thru with Ben yesterday who is another nice and knowledgeable gentleman to show me the details of my trailers. Dealing with this dealership has been a nightmare since day 1. We will be filing a lawsuit this Monday July18, 2022 in the Stanislaus County court. We bought a 2008 diesel pusher in Jan, 2021 as our retirement home and travel machine. We noted that the levelers and the dash air didn't work. No problem, just put it on the due bill was their response. As of today, the levelers still don't work and to get the AC working, we wound up paying over $450 to a shop in Las Vegas. Manteca Trailer did pay $2,800, but we were stuck with the remainder. Also, after our purchase, a bedroom window was broken by one of their workers, which took four trips to get rectified. We took the rig in for a band-aid fix on one of the levelers. One of the workers took the leveler off and left the hydraulic hose disconnected. When we got ready to drive off we were leaving a fluid trail. Someone called a mechanic in because it was after closing when we got our call to pick up the rig. The "mechanic" recognized me because he had worked for an exterminator the year before. We have been called in and have waited all day on at least ten different occasions for work that was never done. Once, my wife had to hire a driver because they insisted we bring the rig in even though they were aware of the fact that I was in the hospital in a diabetic coma for over a month. We bought a 2 year extended warranty from them at the time of purchase, which THEY used to purchase the main pump on our leveling system. This was on our due bill. We were also told to go to Delta Truck Service to get our AC problem diagnosed, because they couldn't do it at their shop. It cost us $416 to get it analyzed because Manteca Trailer never called them to get this approved. We have been more patient than most, but I am tired of getting screwed. I will let y'all know how we come out in court. In the meantime, be careful!!!!!!! read more

if i could give zero stars i would. we purchased a brand new trailer in 2017 with the warranty that came highly recommended from the sales department. our first experience with Manteca trailer was shortly after in 2018 after we were side swiped on the freeway and needed warranty repair that was covered by insurance. THEY HAD OUR TRAILER IN SERVICE FOR ALMOST 5 MONTHS!! Parts were poorly replaced or not at all. after they called to let us know everything was done and we could drive the over 1 hour drive to retrieve or rig, upon arrival almost nothing was actually done. we had to leave without our trailer and had it delivered to our home. this was a fight as the service team is very un-accommodating. Fast forward to our most recent service. Basically nothing was covered by or warranty. We accumulated a bill over $600 and, yet again, the service was terrible. went to pick up, barely anything was done, our awning now needs to be manually open, parts were replaced that didn't need to be, agreed upon services were not rendered. The head service guy was completely unprofessional and extremely condescending and rude. needless to say the should not have been given a second chance and i highly recommend you don't give them a chance at all. purchase your trailer from a business that actually cares and caters to their guests. Let me begin by saying purchasing an RV is not for the faint of heart. Things will go wrong...often. But that will not stop me from enjoying the RV lifestyle. This review is my experience with Manteca Trailer now Blue Compass. I purchased a new 2022 Jayco 31MB fifth wheel in April 2023 our sells associate was Chris. I also purchased the extra warranty from Blue Compass. I took my trailer on its maiden voyage the following weekend. Unfortunately, there were multiple issues with my fifth wheel. Mainly the pipe from the shower was completely broken in half and flooded the storage hull, the heater ducting was not connected to the heater, the fridge temperature would not cool, the battery disconnect was wired incorrectly, and a door came off a cabinet. I immediately called Manteca Trailer and had an appointment for the following week to have the many issues addressed. They quickly fixed the broken pipe, cabinet door and battery wiring. The fridge became a multi visit, and multi month issue to finally get it replaced. What I learned is when you purchase an RV they are not heavily inspected upon deliver to the dealer. Jayco's are built in Indiana and driven to your dealer. Things can break in transit. You have to inspect your purchase yourself and address any issues before your final purchase. Don't rely on the dealer to do this inspection. I was happy to be working with Joe as my service advisor at Manteca Trailer. It was 4 months of collaboration with him to get the fridge replaced. Joe and I had to have multiple phone calls and emails with Jayco as well as the maker of the fridge, Dometic. I never gave up and either did Joe. He went above and beyond to resolve my warranty issues. Thanks Joe! You get 5 stars!!! Manteca trailer gets 4 stars. 5 stars if Manteca trailer would go above and beyond in inspecting the RV's they put on the sells floor. It would have been very easy to inspect the hull. That would have fixed 2 of our issues and in turn instilled confidence to the consumer. What I am taking from this lengthy process is you have to advocate for yourself. Don't leave all the warranty work up to the dealer to deal with it. They sell you the RV but they did not build them. Understand what you have purchased and do your do diligence to assist your dealer with the warranty work process. read more
