The office manager was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge that my daughter had been referred when I asked why they didn't obtain the X-rays from the referring office, despite the fact that I had phone calls directly from their office confirming the referral. Rather than working with us to resolve the issue, the account was immediately sent to collections. After years of being loyal patients, I expected much better communication, professionalism, and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion of this office, and we will not be returning.

Christie did my temp crowns for me on my front top teeth (I have been so conscious of those teeth ) and she did BEAUTIFUL work (she tells me the permanent crowns are gonna look even better!!!) my father was a longtime patient of the previous owner and 25 years ago, My son went in after breaking his top front tooth. They were able to build his front tooth back up and he still has it to this day (not once has it broken off!). Going in as a first time patient to new ownership gave me nerves, but they settled them immediately (it's such a nice and comfortable environment with the staff, everyone is really kind). I am 50 years old and for the first time in my life, I am excited to start seeing a dentist to fix everything needing to be fixed and actually doing preventive care! That itself should've been a red flag. I assumed the dentist Emily Young had my best interest. I should've know at her lack of communication with me that she didn't. I was then told by another dentist how deep my pockets really are, referred to a specialist and told by specialist I could not get pregnant unless I wanted to put my life and child's at risk. I have difficult teeth, a multitude of complicated health issues, and a long history of bad dental experiences, coupled with tens of thousands of dollars wasted on prior dental work done by crappy dentists and scam artists over my lifetime. Despite all of that baggage, Dr. Arlauskas has never once treated me with anything less than dignity, patience, and genuine care. He has never judged me, never made me feel bad, and has never scolded or shamed me in the way that so many dental providers have done in the past. Dr. A is fun, personable, professional, and unwaveringly consistent. He remembers the human element in every interaction. He always does things the right way while making sure he goes above and beyond the basic standard of care, and is all around a truly kind, present person... I've had a significant amount of work done by him and I've never been disappointed no matter how nitpicky I am. It's difficult to express in words how grateful I am for the kindness he's extended to me. He's changed my life for the better, and I wish I could do more for him aside from writing this review. In the least creepy way possible, I truly love him for the positive impact he's had on my teeth and my life. Teeth can be so emotional... Dr. Aldridge performed the surgery without giving her the option to seek care with a specialist. It went completely sideways and the staff did nothing to help until it was too late. My daughter had a major infection and had to have additional procedures under general anesthesia with a specialist. The staff lacked experience and empathy. Seek a specialist whenever doing major dental surgery. Needless to say we are looking for a new dentist.

The dentist is "Dr. Kris" (Kristine Pham) and my hygienist is Jennifer. They're cool. I wish I were as chill and didn't always freak out in the chair when I almost swallow my own saliva ... thank God for that little suction thing-y. The best part of the Wendel team is that they take care of all the billing and insurance stuff so it's easy-peasy. Signing up for text messages and email reminders was simple, too. Second best? They don't ask me how frequently I floss. They know. I know. No need for me to lie ... since she can simply look up the date of my last appointment to note the last time my teeth were flossed. It's like Regina George was a dentist ... "Stop trying to make flossing happen. It's not going to happen." It's not like I don't try. They have dropped some coverage with certain insurance companies, but luckily ours wasn't one of them. They have also had a lot of dental hygienist turnover the last couple of years, but they seem to have a full staff again currently. That's been tough for us because we had been spoiled with having the same hygienist for years and got to know them, which added extra comfort to an otherwise stressful experience. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but seeing a familiar face had helped ease my anxiety. We love the relaxing spa vibes in this office. It feels clean and comfortable, but not overly clinical like some dentist offices. They offer beverages in the waiting room, which also has a couch and fireplace, making for a cozy environment. We also appreciate that they can make a crown while you wait and watch a Netflix movie. It's nice not have to wait a week for a third party to make the crown and leave the dentist office with a temporary. The in-house crowns we're not something we've experienced before, so that's a huge plus! Overall this is an exceptional dentist office. The front desk staff spoke unprofessionally and dismissively, and when I had to reschedule due to an urgent life event, after providing advance notice, I was still charged a cancellation fee. The office pressured me into additional treatments by claiming I was on the verge of periodontal disease and that I had "come in just in time." This kind of fear-based upselling is deeply unethical. I strongly encourage anyone considering this dentist to take the many negative reviews seriously. Patients deserve honesty, professionalism, and respect not misleading practices and inflated bills. Superficial friendliness masking extremely poor customer service. Expect to be treated like a dollar sign, not a patient.
