Amazing experience from the buffet to the servers. I wish I had pictures for you, but we were starving and we just digging in. The server was so polite and just explained everything that was on the buffet and then they put signs out. My granddaughter asked for mango pudding and I promptly told her that she could go to the buffet and get it and our server said no no hang on I'll get it. He not only brought us the mango pudding that brought us the rice pudding as well. This is a smaller more intimate restaurant in a sort of strip mall, but don't let that fool you this restaurant packs flavor . Do not hesitate to try this place, I would go back in a heartbeat if it were closer to me . Oh, and by the way, I am a huge fan of Indian food and by far they had the best naan I've ever had . The server said it was fresh made in house.

In the mood for Indian cuisine and stumbled upon this place. What a cute little place with some awesome food. They weren't busy so we were able to be seated quick. Looks like it's family owned and operated. Very clean and smells absolutely divine upon walking in. We ordered the veggie samosas to start. Hubs also got a soup although I can't remember the name. They were very tasty and good. The green sauce is a bit spicy. For entrees we got the Aloo Saag and the Saag Veggie. The Saag Veggie had more flavor and will be what I get next time. I liked the Aloo Saag but I think it lacked some of the flavor that the Saag veggie had. Plus I liked having more veggies in the curry. We coupled our food with the garlic naan which was so delicious. Overall great food and would recommend.

After spending most of the Saturday afternoon shopping, we were in no mood to cook dinner so we searched for an Indian restaurant near our area and found Discovery Indian Cuisine 2.0. We ordered online through DoorDash and ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Rogan Josh and Chilli Chicken. I picked up my order in 20 minutes and soon was on my way home to enjoy dinner. From the food order, we first had Chicken Chilli which although cooked well with spices was dry which sometimes becomes difficult to eat. Then we had Paneer Tikka Masala which was made well with spices and the taste was amazing especially with capsicum and onion in a curry. Then we had Chicken Rogan Josh although it was good and cooked but it could have been better. All in all, our experience was okay but we would definitely be back especially to have Paneer Tikka.

This was my first time ordering from Discovery 2.0 and I used UberEats which was offering BOGO Naan and $5 off Butter Chicken (normal price for butter chicken is $20 which I find to be way too high compared to other local Indian restaurants). Overall the food was edible but unremarkable to me. I couldn't select a spice temperature for the chicken but it showed up pretty mild with less authentic flavor than what I'm used to. The naan was super tough to pull apart and wasn't presliced. The basmati rice didn't have the same cardamom or spice flavor that makes Indian rice so delicious. The best part of my order was the appetizer Samosa Chaat, which I only ordered after reading another Yelp review. I will probably stick with the Indian joints in Carrollwood.

Took over the space Dickeys was

I was sad to see Dickeys BBQ closed down in this space but thrilled to see an Indian restaurant opening in the Lutz/Land O Lakes area. I dined here on a Saturday evening and it surprisingly wasn't busy at all for dine in. However, I noticed there were many to go orders coming in and out the door. The restaurant is very clean and the employees greet you with a bottle of water. I greatly appreciate this because I hardly ever have to wait for the server to bring me a refill. I was a bit disappointed they have alcohol present on the menu, but no alcohol yet in house. (Supposedly they are going to be serving it soon. ) The food came out quickly. The garlic naan lived up to it's name and had an appropriate amount of minced garlic. There were tender chunks of chicken surrounded by a savory sweet aromatic sauce in the Tikka Masala. It was excellent but their "Indian Hot" is probably a 6 on a 10 point spicy scale. My server was very attentive and checked on me often. I didn't use the bathrooms but since I was a previous Dickeys customer, I assume they are clean. They have a buffet on the weekends from 11 to 3 which I'm looking forward to returning for that, but only after they get beer, ha ha!

After fighting internally for an hour trying to decide if I wanted to door dash nearly $100 worth of items from this place I settled on going in for the buffet instead. They open for business at noon on the weekends. You're greeted with Indian music videos playing on the TV and incense being burned inside. There is plenty of seating available and the waiter was very attentive. There was a good variety of options in the buffet: onion and spinach pakora (spinach was very good) green and tamarind chutneys, raita, naan for the table, chicken biriyani, chili chicken, chicken wings, and an assortment of curries. The butter chicken was sweet, the egg curry was a little sour, the channa sag was good as well. Lots of options for whatever you may fancy. Do keep in mind the butter chicken had bones! My only complaint was the absence of any lamb dishes and overall the food was not very spicy at all. Good variety for a fair price, I look forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

! It was bomb! So good. I was in the mood for Indian but didn't want to drive to Tampa so I found this when I searched up Indian and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

I decided to go with them expecting the same experience but this was not the case at the end. My husband, fiancé at the time, and I went to the testing, Jennifer took care of us and we expressed our menu was going to be pork-free and it was reflected in our options, chicken and steak. About a month before the wedding they changed the contact person as Jennifer left the company. This cause a great deal of stress in me due to the fact that when I spoke with Maria she seemed that she did not have a clue if what I was talking about, regarding all the menu and specifics, I had already discuss with Jennifer and changed completely the quote adding a good $800 extra to quote. Come wedding day, first, I had nice matching silverware and the team decided to put the metal silverware next to the silver wear. Here the common sense was not used. This clashed with the decor. I remember mentioning to put the silverware next to the food so if people wanted to use those instead of the ones in the table they had the choice. Secondly, the caesar salad had bacon on it and it was pre-made. Once again, I was very explicit about not wanting pork in the menu. Half of my family ended not been able to eat the salad and I found this so annoying as I paid almost $2,400 for the services. Third, the head server approach me at some point of the wedding to ask me about the services and I told her how I was feeling and told her 'not great'. To this day NOBODY from this company has reached out to me for feedback. Needless to say they won't have my business nor recommendation in the future. Lastly, keep in mind it has been almost a full year of my wedding and I still feel strongly about it all.

Not only did they impress us with arriving with ample time to set up before guests arrived, they were very personable, happy, enjoyable and extremely efficient in serving and clean up. The food by Affordable Catering was absolutely amazing. The 62+ guests we had were thrilled with the food and service. Everything tasted so delicious, in particular, the Maui Chicken was a HUGE success. We received nothing but raves about the food. Thank you "Affordable Catering" for making our first experience an excellent experience. Marie Bentancourt, my sales associate, was also key in making our event a success as well. I'm SO GLAD I made that choice because this was a bad experience. We scheduled the date, set the menu ... and then Vivian canceled the day beforehand. We rescheduled and declined her offer for extra food to make it right, offering some grace since issues happen sometimes. On the 2nd attempt, she sent me a text the afternoon of the event to say she was "stuck in traffic," but her sous chef would get things started and she would be there in time to cook the dinner. She never showed up AT ALL that night. The sous chef said Vivian just had other events that conflicted with mine-- so apparently it was just poor planning. Her sous chef was very young, nice and hardworking. However, it was a lot for one person, without having the support person to plate & serve the food, clear the courses, etc. I pitched in to be nice and acted as our server, but for $1500, I definitely should not have had to! And more importantly, since she couldn't focus solely on cooking, she made some mistakes, such as inconsistent results in the temperature of the meat across the servings (some were great and others were overcooked) and cold, over-mashed potatoes that turned pasty/gummy. Vivian also forgot about the conversation we previously had about our dessert choice and had the girl make something different than what I chose. I made that dessert choice for a very specific reason and am frustrated by her lack of attention to detail, which is obviously a pattern. On top of Vivian's poor behavior with the 2nd "no show", when I gave her the feedback about the food at our event and told her that I was disappointed, she decided to ARGUE with me, rather than even apologizing. Apparently, she felt she knew exactly how everything tasted, based on a few pictures that the sous chef texted to her, so I was wrong. It was an inappropriate and unprofessional response, especially given the other mistakes that were made.
