I recently dined at Persís Indian and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the butter chicken and butter naan, and both dishes were outstanding--they were better than I expected and absolutely delicious. What really stood out was the service. Our server, Ravi, was attentive, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. He was quick to respond to our needs and added a personal touch that enhanced the whole dining experience. The combination of excellent food and exceptional service has made me a fan. I'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu. Went here after being recommended at least 20 times, but, never had the time. First and foremost, the staff was unpleasant when I called. Second, the place itself seemed clean enough, but, nothing positive or negative. Finally, the important topic the food and pricing. The chicken tikka masala/butter chicken was actually the worst I've ever had. The other items were easily forgettable. I also (for the first time) threw away our food after my wife and I tried everything. The pricing was pretty typical for desi food, but, with the quality, I say stay clear. We were craving for Chicken Noodles, so we searched around our area to find a restaurant and found Persis Indian Grill. We went to Persis Indian Grill, and soon we were seated at our table. After browsing through the menu, we ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles and Tandoori Chicken. We soon got our order of food, which included both Hakka Noodles and Tandoori Chicken. The Chicken Hakka noodles were prepared well, with spices and chicken cooked to perfection. Noodles were delicious, and they satisfied our cravings. Then we had Tandoori Chicken, which was hot from the tandoor and cooked deliciously with spices and a great taste. Both the dishes, including Noodles and Tandoori Chicken were satisfying. From the menu, we ordered Falooda, an in-house-made sweet that arrived quickly. It was delicious, refreshing, and a good dessert to end our dinner. The coconut soup with chicken was yummy. Steaming hot!! We shared the tandoori mixed grill. All the meats were tender and flavorful. The tandoori was mildly spicy. Not sure if it was because we asked for mild or if it came that way, so ask for mild if you fear the spice. I am a wimp so I had to ask for something creamy and cooling so I ordered a mango lassie. Just so so My spouse and I went to a car dealership in Wesey Chapel, FL. Afterwards, we decided to have lunch in Wesley Chapel instead of waiting until we got home. At first, we went to Krate at the Grove in Wesley Chapel but nothing there really interested us. So, we went across the street to the mall area and found and Indian Restaurant called Persis Indian Grill. The restaurant was nice and clean inside. It was also quiet inside. There were few customers in the restaurant. The host pointed to the booth across from him meaning, "you can take that booth." He asked if wanted water, and we both said yes so he brought two bottles of water. He pointed to this little wood block on the table with a QR Code etched on it and said you'll need to use your phone to see the menu. What If I don't have a phone? Do you have a regular menu? The server arrived and I ordered chicken tandoori for my entree. He asked how spicy I wanted it, "mild, medium, hot or Indian Hot," I told him Indian Hot. My spouse even told him that I liked my food very very spicy. I also ordered Jeera Rice since there was no mention of rice served with the tandoori chicken in the menu. Not long after that, the food started arriving. My chicken tandoori arrived along with a cup of basmati rice with saffron. I kept looking at the rice thinking, I know how to cook jeera rice and it looks nothing like this rice. I ignored it and started to eat. I was excited to taste the Indian hot chicken tandoori. I took a bite of the tandoori chicken and rice. As I was chewing the chicken I kept waiting for the Indian hot to hit. I swallowed the food in my mouth and still no "Indian Hot" spice. I guess their Indian Hot is less than mile? As we were eating suddenly, they brought two dishes of what I would call Jeera rice. I guess they forgot to add in the menu that the dish was served with rice. I wouldn't have ordered the jeera rice. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the tandoori chicken's Indian Hot spice to hit. Nothing! The Chicken Tandoori really was not all that. It did not taste bad but it was just a mediocre flavor. My spouse ordered Butter Chicken and he said his was also just so, so. We are not new to Indian cuisine and I know Tandoori Chicken is a very common Indian dish served in the U.S. However, this dish was just bland. We did not finish our food so we brought them home. I don't know why. We're probably going to just throw them out. When I got home, I ate a little more of the Tandoori Chicken in hopes that the spice would come out. Still nothing! I was drinking unsweetened iced tea and finished the drink in my glass. The server never came around to see if I needed a refill. I even put my glass at the edge of the table in hopes he would see it as he checked on our table. Nope, he never checked. My spouse had to flag him down and raised my empty glass to signal refill and pointed to me. He finally came by to pickup my glass and refill it. Luckily, I still had that bottle of water because my food was not going down quite easily down my throat. I was disappointed with this whole experience because I was really craving good Indian flavor with a good kick for a spice. I would not go back to Persis Indian Grill. This is a chain restaurant which makes sense why the food and service was just so, so. I would not go back to this restaurant and certainly do not believe in giving it a second chance. This place was really good! We came in with a large party to eat dinner. The inside of the restaurant was decorated quite well and had ample seating. We liked most of the dishes we ordered: Szechuan noodles, dal makhani, paneer tandoori, mango lassi, and paneer lababdar, the palak chole and veg kofta curry were okay..would prob not order those again. Who would have thunk I could enjoy authentic Indian food made in Wesley Chapel? For dinner, I ordered Corn Vegetable soup and Chicken Biryani rice. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. So delicious that I returned the following day for the Corn Chicken soup. Had leftover Biryani rice......so good. The ambiance is modern and inviting. Service was okay not bad but not great. We tried the chicken Hakka noodles, chicken tikka masala, chicken fried rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The protein was tender and melts in your mouth. The only thing I didn't really care for was the garlic naan, don't get me wrong it wasn't horrible. Absolutely amazing service and food! I accidentally forgot to request white meat on my order and didn't realize until I arrived. I offered to pay for a new order, but the manager was incredibly kind and told me not to worry--they remade it quickly at no charge, even though it was completely my fault. They were slammed with customers, but still took the time to accommodate me with a great attitude. We've been here twice. The first time was when they first opened, so we figured they had some growing pains. During our first experience, the service was subpar. They didn't have cold or ice water. We had to keep calling the servers over for every little thing. They didn't check up on us for anything. We needed more water because the food was extremely spicy even though we told them medium spice level. The food was also subpar. Both the entrees tasted the same even though they are typically made with different gravies. This second time was the nail in the coffin for us. We thought we'd give it another try since we hadn't been since they first opened. Nothing has changed in the past year. The service is extremely lacking yet again. We had to ask them for water several times. It took them a while to get back to us after we ordered appetizers and we were waiting a long time to order entrees. They kept forgetting items we ordered such as raita, rice, water, cups, ice, and onions. The worst part was the fact that there were bugs in the ice. YUCK! I was so grossed out. The server just took the glass back and gave us another cup of ice. I'm glad they at least served water bottles, but they should keep some of them cold. It took 35 minutes for us to get our entrees. The entrees were much better this time but we won't be coming back because of the service and the fact that there are bugs in the ice. The owners were standing around on their phones the entire time. We were there for an hour and a half. One of them was even having an alcoholic drink during business hours behind the bar. It got pretty busy with takeout orders and catering, but only 3 servers were doing all the work. I felt really bad for them and that's probably why they kept forgetting things because they had so much on their plates. As a business owner, if your restaurant gets busy, you should put your phone away and help your employees. The owners didn't even acknowledge the fact that we had bugs in our ice, or apologize for the wait. We won't be going back. The lackluster service was the nail in the coffin for us. Our first time here. Arrived before 7 and there was no wait despite being full. Quick service and quick food. Kind staff and attentive. We ordered a variety of appetizers and meals. The garlic naan bread and cauliflower were delicious. So was the butter chicken and the palac paneer (spinach & cheese). The Persis meal was great with a variety of meats! It's fun to go to Indian restaurants and be able to try different meals! Just be aware of how spicy you like because their mild is already a bit spicy! And it's a bit warm in there, not like most restaurants where you are cold. On a not so good note, the bathroom was not clean. They were busy but could have been checked more often. The food here is very good. I am not Indian myself but I love how many options of different Indian cuisine they have from North Indian to South Indian. They also have lots of options for people with dietary restrictions (like me). The service is also very good and our food comes out pretty quick. The place is quaint, I have read reviews about service. Sadly, they are sort of true. I went at 5:00 p.m. Sunday as they were opening. We were seated and given two bottles of warm water. I asked for glasses of ice. They need to change the filter, it was a game trying to pick out the black items floating in the ice, after two attempts we got new water and cleaner ice. Everything is ala a cart, so we had to order naan separately. I had curry chicken and my daughter had butter chicken. Great taste but the chicken was tough in both dishes. We wanted more naan and our waitress just stood by the front door and did not come over, eventually we flagged down a waiter to order more. They do need to focus their attention on customer service. I will give them another try but there is no excuse for dirty ice. We were two of four people in the restaurant, we are approachable, come ask us if we need anything or if our meals were good. read more

TLDR- we experienced absolutely terrible service, long wait times between every phase of our meal, mediocre food, and worst of all- an owner who did not seem to care. As someone reliant on reviews for my business, I'm extra careful when being critical of a restaurant. Unfortunately after myself and my parties' experience I can't hold my tongue. First, the service was terrible. It's common at many Indian restaurants so we expected it, but this was another level of terrible. We waited and waited and then waited some more at every step of our meal. Second, the food is very mediocre. Stale naan, salty indo Chinese, flavorless biryani were all on the menu. Drinks are charged at $14 for a regular tequila and soda but then we had to make it ourselves! Bad service combined with mediocre food. The staff didn't care and when we discussed it with the owner, he gave us the impression that he knows it and has no plans to address it. It seemed business as usual for him. As you can expect, I cannot recommend Persis Indian Grill. read more

My first time trying the food here was a few weeks back as a to go order and last night I came here with family friends for dine in. Both times the food has been very tasty, full of flavor. I have tried the Chicken Mandakini twice which was better than I thought it would be as I never had something like it before. The Cheese Butter Masala is a must, the Naan is very good as well. The staff is very hard working, service is okay as you have to ask for things many times such as water (water bottles are served) or anything you may want. Only time waiters came to us was when they brought our food over to the table, they did not come over to check on us or if we needed anything. It does get busy there in the evenings and certainly more on the weekends. The interior is very nicely decorated and I like the orange and green look all around. If I do not come here to dine again, I would absolutely order food from here once a month as a to go order. One of the things I have read on Google and even I agree to is the prices of the food is high for the quantity you get in return. Hopefully one day they can adjust their pricing or increase the portion served. Pricing is a little more expensive than most Indian restaurants around the area, and there isn't a lunch menu option available at the moment. This is not a buffet but they mentioned considering that for the future. Food was flavorful and fresh, however we wished the portions were bigger.
