We've been a customer of Discovery for almost three years now and I can't say a negative thing about them. We store a fifth wheel as well as a trailer with our UTV. We go camping and riding a lot throughout the year so we keep them pretty busy and we've never had a problem. Not only do they wash our fifth wheel a couple of time a year (no extra charge), but they also fill your propane tanks (you pay normal propane rates) and will check the tire pressure when they pull your trailer out for you. On one occasion we even stored a car there for a few weeks. Some day I hope to store a boat there as well (this part is for my wife in case she reads this). In case you can't tell, I highly recommend Discovery. read more

This isn't Just a place you store your RV or boat. This is white glove service. Safe, easily accessible indoor storage for boats, trailers and RVs at a very reasonable price. I've had my RV there for over four years and have nothing but positive things to say. Miguel and his team always makes sure my RV is clean, charged, loaded with water and ready to go when I ask for it. And when I'm done having fun i just bring it and drop it off and they do the rest. Can't ask for anything more. They also have propane, batteries and ice on site if needed. Highly recommend. read more

Discovery Boat Storage is awesome. I stored my fishing boat there for 2 months just for salmon fishing. It's located just 5 minutes from Broderick's Boat Launch. The owner Miguel is the nicest and hard working guy you will ever meet. Whenever I plan to take my boat out, I either call or text him the day before and he will have my boat ready to pick up. Once I'm done and return the boat, he washes it down and puts it away and plugs in my battery trickle charger. I can't express how convenient this is as it saves me lots of time, gas and money. Thanks Miguel for taking good care of my boat. You will see me again next year. read more

I have been storing my boat here for almost four years and I have to say Miguel and his employees are the best. I have always been able to get my boat out when needed and even on very short notice a couple of times. I have friends with boats in other storage facilities around Sacramento and they don't get the same service that I have received and they pay more than I do. I usually don't do reviews, but this place stands out so I took a second to share my experience. If need something stored this is the best place in Sacramento. I love this place... Jaime and Miguel are so down to earth and kind and they they are also very knowledgeable.....I never have a problem with my boat in or out. This location saves me gas and headache of towing traffic, pick up and drop off ....half mile from the boat launch.... doesn't get any better than that. Thanks guys. read more

The Owner Miguel is a class act, he goes out of his way to be helpful and he is always improving his storage facility. I am impressed by the level of professionalism and the fact that you can call Miguel 20 mins before you need to pick up a vehicle you store with him and.... This place is a blessing to us. We have had our motorhome stored there for over two years. They always get it in and out without delay and the owner Miguel is super nice. He called me when the job was done demanding I " come get the boat NOW because I need room!" Then he added " just one little problem, it doesn't run" He wanted me to pay him the full amount we agreed on too. He said it was a harness problem and take the motor back where I bought it. I showed him a video of the engine running at the dealer location including with the factory harness which they are required to do and he said "they probably used a different harness to cover up the bad one they sold you" Ken also clipped some wires he said " I didn't need" The dealer repaired Kens wire cuts and explained these harnesses are all plug and play and very simple to install. Ken also ignored the fact my battery cables were old and would also contribute to the engine failing to turn over. I shouldn't have paid him but did so thinking once it was proven there was nothing wrong with the motor he would man up and return some of my money especially after now having to fork over $800 to the dealer for repairs of his work .

They have older boats FOR SALE and they RENT SPACE where you can actually WORK to FIX UP boats or trailers. There is power available and portable toilets for tenants. There are CONTRACTORS YARDS for rent and some have storage containers included. There are workshops and fenced yards for rent. It has grown to become whatever people need. I'd say the BIGGEST PLUS here is your ability to actually DO WORK HERE, on your stored boat or vehicle. Most storage places absolutely prohibit that. If you find this review useful please vote!

The guy was also pretty friendly so they have really great customer service here. No hidden fees, very reasonably priced, and simple process. I'll continue to come to this location whenever possible. Only downside is that they don't have after-hour drop-off which is what I was hoping for since I work the next day but the area isn't the best so I understand why. I parked and walked to the front. There was only one worker there. His name was Michael. I asked him how does it work. He helped me while telling me what to do. Michael was very fast, friendly and patient with me. After he weighed all my recyclables, he had me to go to the front with him so that he can show me how he got the price. Very honest of him. Miguel and the team are awesome! The attention to detail on our RV is top notch. I used to have my $300K RV with the old owner, Nareesh Sawhdy but he is a crook. Nareesh charged my credit card automatically and refused to refund me for storage fees when my RV contract was cancelled and the RV was not even in storage. Additionally, Nareesh now operates Valet Indoor storage, the facilities are run down, leak and he stores expensive RVs in the dirt field near the warehouse. DO NOT USE VALET OR ANYTHING OWNED BY NARESH! Furthermore, my RV got damages and Nareesh doesn't care or even discuss the incident to improve his facility. Miguel and Discovery have always been dependable and responsible, I have ALWAYS been happy with him. My husband and I think this is the best storage facility around! Miguel is "old school" with customer service, and he doesn't hesitate to make sure our needs are met. Memo is also exemplary with his customer service and goes out of his way to lend a hand almost every time we see him. The facility is super clean, without obstacles, close to freeways, and for us....just a mile and a half from where we work. I have known Miguel, the owner, for the last 3 years. He is a very friendly and accommodating guy. We just started parking our limos and buses at this facility. With parking, we get free washes and repair service at reasonable costs. The location is clean and conveniently located near freeways like I-5 and 160. Also, it is about 2 miles away from Downtown. They also detail our vehicles sometimes for a little added cost. So far the place has helped our business - one stop facility for our needs. Stored my boat here for a year, and received the best service. The owner is a great guy, and all of the staff I have interacted with are friendly. Very secure, and clean storage. Boat sat there for 5 months and really didn't get dirty inside. Very pleased! read more
