I am a new camper owner and needing a place to store my camper. Geographically RV Storage Depot at McClellan Air Force Base is the perfect spot. I checked in online regarding availability and pricing and spoke to a very nice friendly girl. I made an appointment the following week to drop off my camper. After filling out all the paperwork and paying for the month service the field person came out and gave me a tour of the facility. He showed me how each type of camper were placed in separate areas of the airplane hanger for organization and easy access so far the service has been excellent and everyone has been very friendly. If you have a boat camper antique vehicle any type of vehicle that needs indoor storage I would recommend RV Storage Depot at McLellan. read more

Called this place over 5 times to get the cost of RV storage. They never answered the phone, always a recording. I left a message twice over the last two weeks and no one every called back. If they don't care about answering their phone or returning phone calls, then I don't want them moving around my motorhome. read more

We have used this storage provider for almost 3 years. Customer service is good with prompt responses to each email / phone request for boat pick up. It did take a few months to get used to giving 24hr notice or extra planning and notifications during holiday weekends. We have had our new travel trailer stored at this place in the past 4 months. We like it very much. Here is why: It literally opens 7 days a week as far as pickup and drop off the trailer. We like the valet style drop off and pick up service even after hours. The after hour pick up and drop off are in the yard with the security gate. We like the easy communication with the friendly and helpful staff via e-mail they they always answer or phone calls that they almost always answer during work hours. The best part is our trailer is stored indoors!! While the trailer is stored, I can still get access to it during the work hours. All in all, we will keep using the service as long as we have the trailer. We highly recommend this to anyone! read more

This place used to be good. Once Frank left it went downhill. They have had so much turnover and they don't take care of your coach or turn on refrigerator got you. Didn't even know how to fill tires. Our coach is a 2020. Perfect condition. We use it only about 8 times per year. We know every square inch. Our detailer notifies us if he sees a scratch. We were so shocked to see 2 huge gouges all the way through the clear coat and all layers of paint. They are on the front bumper and match up perfectly to their forklift they use to move trailers. We complained to corporate and they denied it and would not take care of it. Don't trust them with your rig. They have also raised prices over $40 from when we first since up. Also when we drop it off on Sundays there always seems to be someone else parked in the spot we were assigned. read more

I have NOTHING BUT POSITIVE things to say about this place! Everyone we spoke with (Frank,Will and Nicole) have all been super responsive and had great customer service! They are super competent and have gone above and beyond our expectations for storage. The facility is so clean and very secure. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing storage. I used RV Storage Depot for a few years. I like the clean covered storage that Storage Depot provided. I live out of state so I flew into Sacramento Airport and took a ride service to Urbani Way. I found this management group flexible. They offered to coral my RV to a gated and locked RV parking place for safe keeping if I could not get to them during business hours. They helped to unhook my battery so it did not go dead. Calling ahead is important so they can facilitate what you need. All staff were polite and helpful! read more

I wanted to update my previous review of McClellan RV Storage Depot after our less than stellar service. My husband and I received a partial refund in the amount of $246.97....short the $25 administrative fee. Fortunate for us, there was finally a phone number for their corporate office. My husband and I were able to speak with Scott directly regarding the entire situation. Scott understands what boat owners are looking for when they are paying for not only storage but for valet service. Not only did Scott issue a check for $25 to complete a full refund, my husband and I finally received the apology we deserved. Unfortunately we do have some water damage from our boat being left out in the rain all night (the ski locker is now lifting) and now will have to pay more money out of pocket to get the damage fixed from the incident. It would have been a good gesture as a business to have this repaired since it was due to the water damage which occurred at their facility. We were asked by Scott if changes were made would we give them another try. They have a nice, open location that is secure. If the proper changes were made (down to re-training of their office manager or even replacement of her position), we would love the experience that so many of their other clients get at their locations down south. I signed up online understanding I would receive a promotional discount as advertised on their website some months later when I noted no discount was ever applied I inquired and was made to feel as though I was dishonest about my understanding and basically told tough cookies about any discount. It was my misunderstanding likely but instead of offering any token discount or even any gesture of good will or even a "We are sorry for the misunderstanding" I was told that I was just "wrong". Additionally I received a phone call from a female in the McClellan office and they were what seemed to me very short and rude on the phone. Professional candor and customer service is more of an art than a science as these people will find out after they have a little more saddle time. read more

On June 30th, 2017 Frank, at the RV Storage Depot at McClellan Park, McClellan Park, CA damaged my RV when he ran a boat tongue into the side of my RV. Will Carver and his "boss" strung me along stating that they were going to fix the damage until now. They are not willing to cover the damage that their negligence caused and advised that I file it with my own insurance. I will be moving all three of my vehicles from your facility. read more

I have been with RV Storage Depot at McClellan Park for well over a year now and have had the best service here. I recommended my brother to use them as well where we both now have our trailers stored at this facility. The only minor issue that I have had here was a small tear on my awning from different vehicles being moved around, Frank and his amazing staff saw this problem and replaced my entire awning for me without a single problem. I recently purchased a travel trailer and my husband suggested we try RV Storage Depot. We wanted indoor storage in order to protect our investment. Both Will and Frank have been incredibly nice and very helpful. The customer service is great. As new "RVers" we've had a few minor hiccups, and Will and Frank have gone above and beyond to help us out. Our electric hitch had the wrong fuse protecting it (too small) and I thought the darn thing was broken. I left a note when dropping off the trailer so they would know I was aware of the issue. Will called to let me know that Frank had put in a new fuse and everything was fine. The next time we picked up the trailer, Frank even took a few minutes to show me where it is. The drop off and pick up process has been very easy, and they have given us some very helpful suggestions and tips. We are very pleased with the McClellan Rv Storage facility and service while in the temp location. Frank is always available by cell phone to answer questions regarding pick up and drop off. Valet service works well. The hangars are very roomy and stay cool during the summers heat. Monthly space rent is reasonable and the location is convenient. I would have rated it a 5 but waiting for the new facility with wash bay and dump station to open soon. read more

The facility is nice, clean and seems secure. I can't say that for the management! I originally paid in full from October thru December 2015 for storage of my boat/trailer. My intention was to make an additional payment to cover from January thru May 2016. I didn't receive an invoice the first week of January so I emailed RV Storage Depot and received a reply the next day saying "we will be sending you an invoice the last few weeks of the month". A few days later I received a "Past Due" email and a follow up phone call from Frank, the manager of the facility. I explained to Frank the emails and that the payment had already been processed by my bank, which should be received next week for payment in full thru May, 2016. Frank's tone on the phone was not apologetic, rather sarcastic, stating "he will check to see if payment is received tomorrow, if not he will take further action". The management at this facility is obviously incompetent. It would be beneficial to their clients if the management shared emails/replies so they are all on the same page! I will not be returning next year and would not recommend RV Storage Depot to anyone until there is a change in management. read more
