[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a beautiful atmosphere to be in! This place is esthetically pleasing and the ambiance is gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service impeccable. We only came in for drinks and they were on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The live music was a nice touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will like to revisit for some food some other time.

It was an accident that we came here on Wednesday night. I was meeting friends at a bar near by but we had no reservations so we couldn't get a table. My husband found this place and we went right over. The ambiance here is terrific. We sat at a comfortable high table by the bar with a window view of the street. Lighting was on point and the noise level was low which I prefer. There were also 2 large TVs on each side. I had the shrimp cocktail and the beet salad which I enjoyed. My husband had a French onion soup and a hamburger and fries. He liked it as well. There are a lot of great choices on the menu. Our waiter Camelo was personable and attentive. All the staff I interacted with was nice. I liked this place a lot. It had a very nice ambiance, great service, and very good food. I will definitely be back and recommend you stopping by if you get to the area.

I enjoyed coming here for happy hour during the week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was also live music. It was pretty lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed my food but did not get the happy hour pricing even though it was during happy hour, so I took off a star for that.

    Cobb Salad with Blackened Chicken

I had the Cobb salad with blackened chicken. Absolutely one of these best. The dressing was not heavy and the leafs still had snap. The blackened chicken was very flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got to enjoy my lunch outside during an absolutely beautiful day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I recommend the outdoor dining as it is set up well with plenty of dining space to spread out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stop by and enjoy yourself!!! The server was pretty good, too. She recommended the blackened chicken for the salad. Great decision!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Parkside Tavern. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went around 5pm on Saturday and was seated at the front of the restaurant with a perfect view for people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since the restaurant is known for its Cajun-inspired menu items, and New Orleans is one of my favorite cities, I ordered items that reminded me of my last visit to NOLA. For my cocktail, I tried the Pimm's Cup #9, which had Hendricks gin, Pimms, ginger, lemon, cucumber, mint. It was delicious and very reminiscent of a mule. I also was able to taste Strawberry Fields, which was the perfect summer cocktail - refreshing, light, and fruity. For my entree, I really enjoyed the shrimp and oyster po'boy with garlic aioli. The seafood was perfectly cooked and not greasy, while the bread was lightly toasted and soft. I appreciated how I could choose truffle fries instead of regular fries for no upcharge. Although my meal was quite filling, I saved room for dessert and had the vanilla crème brûlée. It was definitely some of the best that I had! I absolutely look forward to returning to Parkside and enjoying some of the many specials that they offer.

    Salmon Meuniere Dinner

The gumbo was flavorful, and the wings were definitely a hit especially with the real blue cheese. I ordered the salmon dinner, and while the salmon was decent, the potatoes were undercooked in the center, which threw it off a bit. I also think they should add more of the sauce that comes with the salmon it really makes a difference in the overall flavor. Still, a solid spot with some standout dishes!

I've read some mixed reviews about this place but I must say that my husband & I really enjoyed it! This place has a nice large outdoor area with part of 1 of 2 bars with outdoor seating. As it was a little chilly, we went inside to the other bar. We enjoyed some drinks which are made beautifully & shared apps: shishito peppers - good, cheese plate - good, hummus - just OK - would not order again. Service was excellent & friendly - definitely coming back!

While the aesthetic has a hipster edge to it, let's be clear: this is not a place where you get a cheap bucket of beer served by a pretentious, disinterested bartender. It is a haven for people who truly appreciate exceptional spirits. They distill incredibly high-quality, rare spirits right on-site, and the innovation and quality show in every glass. It is obvious that an immense amount of thought, care, and consideration goes into the flavor profiles of both their unique creations and their brilliant takes on classics. The drinks are pricey, but it's worth it for the premium experience. Their rum old fashioned is a personal favorite -- a truly innovative take on a timeless cocktail. For those who abstain from alcoholic beverages -- they do have a handful of tasty mocktails available. What elevates the experience even further is the exceptional service behind the rail. Instead of the indifferent attitude you get at some trendy spots, the team here is welcoming and highly engaged. They take the time to ask about your flavor preferences to recommend the perfect drink. The space can get quite loud and high-energy -- especially when multiple lively groups or bachelorette parties are overlapping -- so be prepared for the cacophony. Even so, for phenomenal cocktails and incredible service, this place is unmatched! If you want a masterfully crafted drink in an unforgettable, high-energy setting, this is the spot. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: New Jersey's draconian liquor laws prohibit microbreweries or distilleries from serving food, so bring your own snacks or order via your favorite delivery app. PRO TIP #2: Dismal Harmony does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on Morris Street. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, paid parking is also available in the Morristown Parking Authority Lot #10 (12 Wilmot Street).

At the main restaurants - their bar is big...and always busy. Their bartenders are friendly and attentive. Their steaks are great and cooked to perfection! Prices are on the high side but worth it. An appetizer order comes with three small slider style rolls. For mains we shared the chicken parm and veggie ravioli. The chicken parm was an absolute show stopper. They do that thing where they come to the table with a hot pan of cheesy sauce and pour it over the cutlet. It tasted even better than it looked, and I love that this came paired with paccheri pasta. The spring ravioli is a nice and light dish and came with lots of fresh veggies. Love the vibes on the patio and an aperol spritz was the perfect drink to enjoy outside on a nice day. Shoutout to Daniel who is the best server ever and was so nice to bring us out a little treat for my hubs birthday. I'm never disappointed here!

First, overall I'd say the food was very good on all five visits. The first two nights, I had dinner here. On the first night, I sat at the bar and enjoyed a bowl of the French onion soup and the halibut. The soup wasn't huge for $12, but it tasted good, and the halibut was quite flavorful. I didn't realize at the time, but they add in an 18% gratuity, so tip extra at your own risk. On the second night, I ate at a table with two coworkers. I had the chicken paillard, which was a large portion and also very good. Service was strong at both the bar and table on consecutive nights. For the three breakfasts, I pretty much had the same thing every day...an omelette with a side of fruit. It also came with potatoes, but it would've been nice if it came with toast or something similar without needing to pay extra. Again, food was good. Service the first day was fine. The next two days, the older gentleman providing service couldn't have cared less. I (and others) would show up at 6:30, when they opened, but nobody would be there. We'd sit ourselves and then wait. Eventually he'd show up. It was difficult getting coffee too, as both days, my cup sat empty for a long time until I'd eventually flag him down. Everything was on his time. I would've given him little/no tip...if the 18% wasn't already added in. The rest of the restaurant...food and service...gets a 5. This guy gets a 1. I probably should've given this a 3, but it didn't seem fair to everything/everyone else.
