So funny, we laughed so much! The scene changes were cleverly done and the costume changes for each character were brilliant! The actors never mixed up any of the 21 characters that they played between them. We felt like we had seen 21 different characters in the play. No one missed a line, and here were LOTS of lines! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! I had never been to the Sam Bass theatre before and for those who haven't you're in for a real treat! There are 52 seats! Everyone has a great view! There is a little bar area to the left of the theatre where they offer drinks, including wine and beer. Take cash in smaller denominations as it is cash only and the suggested "donation" for drinks start with sodas for one dollar. At the interval there were some little snacks to eat, a fruit platter, cheese and crackers etc, this was complimentary, very generous and welcomed by all! All in all we had a memorable evening and we both absolutely loved it. Thank you to the Sam Bass Theatre, we will be back!!

Parking is plentiful, which is always a win. The guac was a standout, and everyone loved the crispy gochujang cauliflower, it was basically fried veggies drenched in a flavorful sweet sauce with a nice little kick. What's not to love. Pita came warm and on point. The white bean hummus was recommended, but I couldn't get past the texture and look (reminded me of raw chicken breast paste). It tasted fine, but the appearance was tough to overlook. Alcoholic drinks were solid, a plus thar they're served in nice glasses with beautiful presentation. Look forward to coming back to try the main courses and do a game of bowling.

We were a table of 12, but that wasn't really the problem. One person who ordered, her food was given to someone else. When she inquired, she ordered again and it took over an hour to get her food. Her second beer never arrived. Unfortunately, she said this is the norm here. She comes here often, mainly for the entertainment. The server was quick to take our original orders, but follow up was zero. No attempts to get second drinks, any other food, nothing. It wasn't that busy, so I'm not sure why the service was so bad. I flagged him down for my second drink after waiting over an hour, and my friend was still waiting for her beer. It was like our table was in the ignore zone. I would come back again, but would probably order from the bar for drinks. 20% tip was included in the bill because of large party. I'm sure my friend was pissed about that considering her service was terrible. Mine was meh. Overall it was a great evening with friends. The good outweighed the bad, but don't expect great service. Enjoy the entertainment value here - Thats what makes this place special.

This center…read morehad lots of great good options from nachos to burgers, chicken strips and pizza conveniently priced between $13-$19, shaved ice and ice cream for about $15 , and adult beverages; large domestic beer $13, small for $8, and craft cocktails for $16 with a great selection of spirits. The restrooms are easy to find and very clean. And parking to the event was also convenient with a general price of $15 with a small walk to the main entrance or if you want closer parking there's a $40 option. Families and friends groups of all ages were cheering the teams on as they fought for victory. The HEB center is such a well organized facility to host various sport and entertainment events. If you are here for a basketball or volleyball game make sure you bring your jacket. The whole center is cold since the hokey team also uses this facility and be prepared to walk through security as you enter. The team members of the center are very friendly and help guide you to where you need to go. I really enjoyed watching a volleyball game here with friends. Our comfortable seats were easy to find by following all the section signs along the halls. This was overall a great experience and the perfect place to catch a local game!

It includes two tickets in a semi private area, a parking pass, two alcoholic drinks each, unlimited non alcoholic beverages, and a full buffet. The view was unobstructed and excellent. There is an elevator that takes you directly to the correct level, which makes access easy. The bathrooms were clean, close by, and had no lines. The dedicated area for food and drinks meant we avoided the long bar lines, which was a big plus. The buffet included salad, vegetables, mashed potatoes, chicken, carved beef, rolls, and desserts. The line moved quickly and the food was enjoyable. The Good While the food was solid, the seating area does not include tables to place your food or drinks. The seats did not appear to be larger than standard seating and there is no additional legroom. (I'm 5'10") That was a bit surprising for a premium package. Although the view was unobstructed, the venue could benefit from additional jumbo screens placed around the arena. The main screen could also be zoomed in more to enhance the experience. The Bad The sound quality was the most disappointing part of the night. The music was too loud and at times you could not hear the artists clearly. Both Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia are powerhouse vocalists who do not need heavy production. Instead of clear, crisp voice isolation, they sounded muffled. After multiple audience complaints, the sound improved, but it was distracting and took away from the experience. The package also advertised dedicated guest services and event staff support. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We could not find anyone to help us locate our seats or answer questions. The only visible staff were those managing the buffet and the check in area. For a premium experience, that was frustrating. Overall Despite the issues, I had a great time with my friend and we truly enjoyed the concert. I would consider using the All In Premium Loge Package again, but with adjusted expectations. Tips * Avoid the main entrance and use a secondary entrance for quicker entry. * If you do not have a bag, use the express line. (We had small clear bags and were allowed to use th express lane) * Download your tickets to your wallet before you get to the event. * The highway exit for the event can feel chaotic with heavy traffic and aggressive drivers. Consider driving past the first entrance and heading to the second exit. * Take your time after the event to avoid the traffic jam. All in all, it was a fun night. With a few operational improvements, especially around sound quality and guest services, the experience could move from good to great.

I found out that they moved their location recently into a space that actually is more theater-like inside. I've seen a production from TexArt before a few years back in their old location in a strip mall and the although that show was good, the seats in the old location was kinda uncomfortable. The current theater felt newer and also sold snacks to eat like chips, popcorn, soda, water, and various candies and treats. They didn't sell alcohol (probably bc they didn't have a liquor license) but had beer and wine that they can pour you a glass with a donation to the theater. Overall the experience was really good. The production set, choreography, acting, and flow of the whole show was well put together. I was afraid that I would fall asleep because we went to see the show right after dinner but it was very good and exciting throughout. The only thing that I didn't like about this new location is that it had limited parking so I would recommend to get there earlier. We showed up about 10 min before the show started and got one of the last parking spaces. The previous location was in a strip mall so there was plenty of parking!

This doesn't mean much to most people, but I think it is what made the school so welcoming and family-like in the past. In recent years, I have heard nothing but bad things, with parents and students alike feeling that the school has become more about the "business", more elitist, and more snobbish. I haven't been back since 2014 so I cannot comment on the accuracy of these statements, but something to keep in mind. This is a review for the adult classes only. I've danced for most of my life, but have not focused on any particular style. I tried out both Adult Jazz and Adult Ballet. Jazz was great - there was a thorough warmup, some across-the-floor combinations, and then an actual piece of choreography that we were going to learn and perform at the school recital! The instructor was awesome and friendly, accommodating the wide range of skills in the classroom. I didn't like ballet as much, but that's probably because I'm more used to the standardized class formats that are used at company feeder schools like Boston Ballet and Ballet Austin. There was less structure in the ballet class and - even though there were only 3 students that day - I felt like corrections were too generalized, unhelpful, and not given enough. Overall, a great place for recreational-level adult dance, but if you want to really work on and perfect your technique, I suggest you go elsewhere. The adult classes are really geared towards beginner-level individuals. Not a bad thing, just not what I needed at the time.

Kudos to the builder and investors who made this art option possible for us. The Baron's Men is the troupe that mounts productions here, and I applaud them for bringing us Shakespeare and other productions from that time period. Thank you! (The only thing that could be improved upon are perhaps permanent actual bathroom buildings, rather than porta-potties.) PS: Highly recommend you bring a seat-back cushion with you or rent one there, the benches - while historically accurate - are not back-friendly! Would be great if there were real bathrooms and some better snacks available but that does not sway me from coming back again and telling all my friends! No need to dress up. This is super casual and high heels are not appropriate for the gravel path to the theater.
