Complex gin with tasty botanical. I always order it when it's available. If not, St. George Terroir or Roku.

I had a flight of their amaros and loved them all, followed by some excellent cocktails that highlighted their products. Dinner menu is designed for sharing/family style. Everything was delicious and creative. We started with their crispy chicken skins, a bitter lettuce ceasar, octopus salad, and their duck confit with a surprising corn couscous. Our server was excellent, with full knowledge of their spirits and lots of guidance for tasting. Loved the bright comfortable dining room, with a bit of vintage flair.

Very much appreciated that accommodation. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and tasted even better. There was a special with homemade focaccia, ricotta, pesto, and eggplant + tomato tapenade. I could have eaten a bowl of every ingredient individually, and together they were even better than the sum of the parts. We also had the curry chicken croquettes, citrus caesar, confit octopus, and gnocchi - all fantastic. And the drinks - next level. I had the Sam Fernando and it was dangerously drinkable, I had to order a second. My partner's Bird of Paradise bamboozled us with its clarified coconut milk - so wild to drink something CLEAR that tasted so much like a piña colada! Our other two party members had NA drinks that were also nuanced and delicious. I will very eagerly come back whenever I have the opportunity!

We sampled 6 glasses from gin to vodka to whiskey. Our host was very informative as he went through each one with us and eventually offering an extra glass. To be real, the drinks were all incredibly strong for me. I had to try washing the taste down with the water, but definitely wished there was some sort of snacks for us (since it seems some others who did the tasting before had some). Anyways, after the quick half an hour or so tasting, we were on our own. The outdoor rooftop area is the true gem of this place. You get a gorgeous skyline view of the SF building although there was a huge crane right in the middle of the view. This place has amazing potential for a rooftop bar. I also loved the way the decor was decorated with the wall plants. Overall, for $37 per person, this tasting was a unique experience. I am definitely paying more for the view here than the actual tasting though.

Our bike party of four decided to make a pit stop here after lunch on our way back across the bridge. We were most interested in the whisky and the rum fermented with whisky yeast. Three of us decided to do a bit of tasting. - all very flavorful, smooth spirits which went down easy. I took home the chocolate bourbon, American whisky and rum. The prices for each bottle are so reasonable at $40- $45 each. There's also a casual seating area where people were congregating and enjoying their spirits. Unfortunately for us, this would not have been a great idea with all of us on bicycles. Treecraft is a destination worth visiting to try their local made vodka, gin, whiskies and rum when going to Treasure Island. I'm a fan of supporting local. I'd like to try their vodka and gin on my next visit. For now, I enjoy the American whisky over rocks though!

It was a cute place and parking was easy. I liked that it was a little bit in the middle of nowhere and there weren't many people around until we were getting ready to go...it seemed like we went from being the only people there to the place being packed in a matter of 15 minutes so I suggest coming early if you want to avoid the crowds. We came on a hot July day with a group of 5 but one was a DD and we brought our small dog as always. The fact that it is dog friendly is one of the main reasons we came. The porta-potty they have near the tables for use was clean enough, but really hot on a warm day after a few drinks. The owner/maker did our tasting and for our drink at the end, I requested something "off menu" made with the spirit I most preferred. I was not disappointed. We ended up getting a bottle of our favorite to take home. Overall, it was a nice way to spend an hour or so together and we enjoyed being able to support a small business and learn a little along the way. If you love gin, as one person in our group did, then I highly recommend coming but even if you don't this is a nice little experience and a good way to sample new flavors and learn about local business.

After that introduction, I've been a huge fan and supporter even since. Blink and you'll miss it; it just looks like another warehouse from the side of the road. And, well, it is! This where the action happens and the bottles are born, you're just lucky enough to be invited inside. Unpretentious, chill, and down to earth. It's even dog-friendly so everyone's welcome here. I've loved everything I've tried, from whiskey to gin, but the sassafras liqueur is really something special. I don't know of a single other example on the legal market. Don't leave without at least giving it a shot, literally!

Tasting was offered/lead by Jason, the owner/spirit maker. They offered a you-choose flight of 3 with about 8 different liquors to pick from. They had all the ones pictured on the board as well as a couple that hadn't quite made full production yet. Between my boyfriend and I's flights we were able to taste 6. Went with rum, brandy, sassafras, a red vodka not on the list, a special blue lotus flower gin, and the single malt whiskey. The liquors tatsted great and it was a lot of fun talking with Jason about how he makes the different spirits. Can't wait for that blue lotus flower gin to be available for purchase! We didn't spend a long time here as it was a 3 taste max, but it was a fun little pit stop on our day. The entrance was a little hidden, but we saw the sign and knew we were headed in the right direction. There's no real big front entrance, just their name on a door letting you know they're there. Almost felt like a speakeasy since it was so un-showy. Street parking is available and plentiful.
