Ordered the lomo saltado with filet for delivery because Vox Kitchen doesn't deliver to my address. It's quiet good from here! The meat is tender and cooked well, with good seasoning. Fries are just crispy enough without being too hard and the sauce is flavorful without being too salty. I wish the green sauce was a bit spicier but overall it was a good meal and portion was large. I got 2 meals out of one entree! I will most likely order from them again and try some of their other dishes and drinks but the lomo was solid. read more

I came here on their first day of grand opening. While looking through the menu, the server introduced their new dish for the grand opening which was the Fam Combo. I gave it a try and I'm glad I did. The dish came out looking so delicious and colorful. I love the sweet and sour rib and the salad complimented really well with this combo. I must say that this dish is so unique and I will have to come back and try it again with other proteins option. The passion fruit was on point, not to sweet not too sour and they use real passion fruit. During their grand opening, they offer 30% off the entire order, which is a very good deal. Went out of the way to try this place. Turned out to be kind of a hole in the wall. We got there 20 minutes after posted opening time. 2nd people to wait outside. There was a woman working inside, who refused to look up or acknowledge us, after repeated knocking on the door. We thought perhaps she forgot to unlock the door. But after the 3rd time knocking and her refusal to look at us, while working all around the counter, we left. Not sure if they're in business. There were boxes all over a table inside. Delicious and super safe! They take your temp if you are dining in and all staff wears a mask. Hubby and I shared the spicy shrimp and pork wontons... amazing flavor, especially in the broth. As someone who grew up with Peruvian cuisine in the house, I can tell you the chefs here have nailed it every time. All the drinks on the menu are terrific. HOWEVER, he/she give such little amount for the price that ALL of us were hungry after eating our meal. We had appetizer, dumplings plus Garlic noodle, so spent average $17 per person and everyone said " I'm hungry" after meals- we're Asians with average weights, not big people. The table next to us were non-Asian people who were bigger than we. Their 2 children immediately said after the meals, "mom, I'm still hungry." So you spend about $17 and are still hungry. We had to go to McDonald at Rockfield to pick up chicken nuggets afterward. So of course we'll never go back. To be full, you have to spend about $25 per person, then I'd rather go to a fancy restaurant, not this place. read more

Things didn't start out well. We arrived at 7:20 and were told they would not allow dine in. Seems a little early (maybe something to announce on Yelp or the website), since after we order, our food will be ready in 10 minutes. Sad for the waitress, as I don't tip on to go orders. Ordered spicy wontons, garlic chicken wings, salmon saltado with garlic noodles, and garlic noodles with filet mignon....order was ready as promised, 10 minutes....except for the wings...they were out. Spicy wontons were very bland and definitely not spicy, but came with a spicy sauce. Taste was just ok with the sauce. The Salmon part of the saltado was tender and moist, tasted good. Fries were tasty as well. The garlic noodles were a big hit on both dishes. Absolutely delicious! The filet was tough and chewy... not at all what I'm used to from that cut of meat. It was juicy, and otherwise tasted good. We will return here to try dine in. Only negative there is they only have seating for 24 total at 8 small tables.
