Nice sports bar style restaurant and bar. The hamburger here is really good and if you catch it on the right night it's on special for $10. I caught it on special and it was excellent. They have a very large beer selection and nice big TVs to watch the game on. Everyone was satisfied with their food. And service was very attentive. I was in Ocala for some training and this was located. Smack downtown in a central location. Would recommend and would return. read more

We stopped in town on to look for some lunch/brunch and ended up in downtown Ocala. I think it's the first time either of us has been there before. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Being Sunday, not much was open besides most restaurants, so that worked out great. We couldn't really make up our minds, but we happened to walk past the district bar and it looked great. You can see the upstairs which is all open seating and looked like some live music. It was a beautiful day, not very hot, so that was great. We were seated upstairs, nice little view of downtown. It's very clean, plenty of tv's for football. The staff were all friendly and help. Everything looked great on the menu, looking around at the food coming out and people eating looked great as well. This time we both decided to just keep it simple and had the egg brunch. 2 eggs, cheese grits and bacon and toast. No real complaints, the grits were cheese-tastic, very good. My wife isn't really a fan of grits, but she kept sneaking bites of it. The bacon was great, we didn't try the million dollar bacon, but I'm familiar with the concept and was just looking for simple this time around. Overall, the place is great, very nice and relaxing. The guy playing guitar and singing was a nice topper. Great little addition to a relaxing Sunday. The food did take a little long, but I think we showed up right at the peak time and everyone was ordering at the same time. It is definitely on our list of places to stop in when we're in the area. I would definitely like to try some more stuff on the menu. read more

We also ordered the tots with fried chicken the tuna poke the burger came with Brussel sprouts for an up charge rather than fries. Do not miss the sprouts they are perfectly made not greasy or too saucy 10/10 recommend. Our drink were phenomenal! I ordered the old fashioned and my partner was pleased to find Blanton bourbon at the bar so she has a double pour with a gentleman's cube. Ambiance is fun and sporty they had live music playing on a Saturday morning brunch. Our bartender was great! First, I'm coming to this establishment. The first floor is a very nice and classy but casual. Forst floor has a nice chill dining area with a outside area to enjoy the outside ambiance if wanted. To get to the second floor it's a stairwell or elevator to a second floor open concept terrace equipped with huge ceiling fans, table tops and a bar. The bar 4 has HUGE 80" tvs simultaneously playing all the games you want to watch. Not to mention the food menu amazing!!! Gotta give this place 5 stars let's gooo!!! read more

Went for the Detroit style pizza because we really enjoyed the Margarita pizza the last time we went. However, this last time was not as good. The pizza looked fantastic but was cold. We also order 3 more pizza's to go, but when we got home and opened the pepperoni pizza it was very burnt. The other pepperoni pizza was not burnt as bad but definitely burnt. The third pizza was a margarita pizza. It was not as impressive as the one we shared at the restaurant. We had driven 20 miles to get these pizza's, Won't go back. read more

I really like this place but my wife isn't a fan. The pizza is fantastic with cheese going to the edges and crispy. Thick crust that's buttery and delicious. My wife didnt like that their salmon was farmed. She got a salad that she wasnt impressed with (but she's hard to impress, i would know). We ate upstairs on the inside but outside deck while a guy was playing decent music covers (a little loud but thats alright). The ambiance was wonderful. My husband and I are new to the area and I wanted a hamburger. (Nothing wrong but Zaxby's but for 5 days we've had them). I was looking for other restaurants that possibly had good hamburgers but the reviews were horrible. Came across this restaurant and BINGO found my new favorite restaurant. Our waitress name was Kylie and she was adorable and friendly. Told us more about the area and the various places and things to do. I had the District 9 burger (I think) and it came with HOME MADE POTATO CHIPS! I can't wait to go back. The next meal I'm looking forward to is the Rueben sandwich. (They also have Rueben egg-rolls.) Dinner night with my wife, kids, and parents. I chose this place because of the reviews and I know my parents like good quality food. Our waiter was on point and very attentive! My step father mentioned to him jokingly, less foam on his next glass of beer. He went and brought my step-father a little glass with a little more beer in it! Kudos to our waiter. If you are like me, you probably depend on reviews, but don't leave enough of them yourself. Maybe it's time we all change that. In this case it is a five star burger a super cool location and great service that remind me how important it is to leave reviews that might help others. My octogenarian parents, myself and my 20 something. Daughter stopped here on our way back from Silver Springs. Mom's knees and the hot day kept us from enjoying the amazing top side but downstairs inside we got our first experience of the District. My daughter got the mac & cheese, which was fine but honestly, the description made it sound more flavorful than it actually was. My father mother and I got the district Burger, which was on special that night for $10. This burger at the regular price of $16 would be excellent but at $10 it was out of this world. Very juicy with wonderful flavor. My daughter also had a Lavender Haze and it was excellent as well. Beer list is boring, but they have the requisite list of styles. We were a group of 12 that called ahead for an early dinner after a wonderful day at the Silver Springs State Park. We were greeted by friendly staff and although I originally requested rooftop seating we had to change our plans because the high tops were not suitable for a few of us. No problem at all..they quickly arranged regular table seating on the main level. Our server was so attentive and well organized as we requested separate bills and he seamlessly attended to our party of six couples. I am the party planner of the group and by far choosing a restaurant for a good sized group of diners can be daunting. You must consider seating, atmosphere, dietary needs, affordability and of course menu options. We started out with great cocktails and conversation as we looked over the extensive menu and everyone found something to satisfy their appetite. Everything came out hot and delicious which is pretty amazing when you consider a party of 12! All I can say is the District Bar and Kitchen checked off every box for us and we would without hesitation come back to Ocala to dine here! Thanks for a lovely end to our fun day! read more
