Spicy Basil Pork & Khao Mun Gai Tod Delight! The Spicy Basil Crispy Pork Belly is a flavor bomb--crisp, juicy pork stir-fried with fragrant basil, and crisp string beans, fresh chilli and garlics. Khao Mun Gai Tod nails with crispy chicken, garlic-ginger rice, and sweet chilli sauce. Both are fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable Thai classics! Service was friendly. I will be back in the future!

Just out running around and stumbled on to this place. It was 1:30 pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Not sure why, it was really good. Everything!

Excellent food. I have celiac and they are very knowledgeable on which dishes contain gluten and what can be made gluten free. Much appreciated and highly recommend.

Wow wow wow, thank you for introducing me to Thai tea (I'm hooked now, and haven't managed to find a better one.) The service was great and I favored the look of the restaurant but the food was definitely the star here. Love love loved everything about this place. The dishes we ordered are below: Thai tea: 10/10 this was amazing, highly recommend Crispy Sushi roll appetizer: 4/10, I didn't like the smell or taste, could not take more than 1 bite. Basil fried rice: 9/10, huge portion, sweet. Don't be afraid to up the spice level on this dish. Curry chicken skewers: 9/10 loved the sweet sauce and relish it was served with Spring rolls: 9/10 Definitely check them out.

Delicious Thai food in the York area! This time we got the chicken pad Thai and chicken red curry - both were delicious and large servings. Enough to take home for another small meal! Service was also quick and attentive. However, my favorite part of this restaurant is probably the little grocery store in the back. We stocked up on our favorites (sriracha, curry paste, and thai tea) as well as some new things we are excited to try, like instant noodles and preserved mango. We will be back!

Best basil fried rice we have had in over 20 years. And the place that used to be the best, sadly, shut down. So District Thai is now rated #1 in my book for basil fried rice. We ordered the spicy version because that's how we like it. The calamari, Thai coffee, and pho were also great. The green curry w/ chicken was ok. Service was outstanding and I loved how the sunshine lit up our table. The stenciled silhouettes on the walls were fun and added a modern touch to an authentic traditional kind of place. If you live near here - you're lucky. We were just passing through on our way back home to Maryland. But now we know where to stop next time we're passing through York.

Apathetic Staff who "sneer" at supposed "competitors" is NOT the way to do it. Not ALL, but MOST did that the last few times I was in. Rude Customers with a poor opinion on "what is authentic" abound, slandering other businesses while THIS ONE idly sits by (MGMT BE PROFESSIONAL AND FIX THAT!!! It's my only gripe on that end) On the food: Only been there a few times over the last decade, as a result. Decent (GOOD at best) Phö (it's pronounced "fuh", NOT "FOE", for the cuisine'tard dingbats)...Not "the best"; only "decent/good" phö. The Thai SomTum was actually on-point the times I did grab a bite there. The "seafood piyaya" (I believe it was called) is REALLY good. I'm a fan of REAL Vietnamese Coffee...& THAT was what brought me back. I don't care WHO this "offends" (& I'm sure it will merely be the so-called "customers" & staff I've mentioned; which actually bring a GOOD business down)...because IT'S THE TRUTH. I ordered the pad kee mao, which was also named drunken noodles on the website. When I got the dish, it was flavorless, with a brownish gray cornstarch slurry type of sauce. We called the restaurant, since this was a takeout dish. Upon talking to someone working there, she started arguing and explaining that the restaurant was open 10 years and the recipe was fine and that we should have specified Bangkok noodles instead. Every single thai restaurant I have ever been to, from the east coast to the west coast, makes a reddish colored drunken noodle dish they call pad see mao. I have never received anything that looks like it is made with a cornstarch and soy sauce slurry or tastes this bland, even ordered with their normal spice level. We were met with hostility during this call. Not once were we asked if we would be able to come in and have our dish remade. Instead, the woman insisted we were wrong and implied our palates were off. I would never go back here and wouldn't recommend any of my friends go here either. The food itself would have gotten 2 stars, but this interaction is what is driving the 1 star review. Edit: looking at pictures posted by people of their pad see mao, mine looks completely different and clearly wasn't made correctly. I guess whoever picked up the phone was so convinced that they gave the right dish that they didn't care to listen to our complaints.

The soup came with Thai pork, vegetables, and scallions. It was very flavorful and came out nice and hot so good that I didn't feel the need to add anything extra to it. For my main dish, I ordered my go-to Thai meal: chicken and basil. It was super delicious. The chicken was well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and the dish came out hot and fresh just like the soup. Parking was easy since they have their own dedicated parking lot. It's not huge, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The restaurant itself is family-friendly, and they had music playing in the background that added to the atmosphere without being too loud or distracting. Service was a little slower than usual today it took about 15 minutes for someone to come over and take my food and drink order, but once the order was placed, the food came out quickly. The staff was still very kind and welcoming, and things happen sometimes, so it wasn't enough for me to take away from the overall experience. They also have bathrooms available, which is always helpful for families stopping in. Seating options are tables, booths, and table and booth combination, If you enjoy Thai cuisine, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!

My wife and I tried a bit of everything with the foreknowledge that we'd be taking a to go box for what we couldn't finish. We both eat vegan so it was the vegetable spring rolls to begin with. I'm not usually one to brag on spring rolls but they were really delicious. I personally enjoyed the vegan soup with clear broth, veggies and tofu. Next up was the Pad Thai without peanuts due to my nut allergies and fried tofu. Man it was flavorful. Powerful but not overwhelming. My wife and I shared a bit of vegetable fried rice without eggs or meat. Definitely better than most places I've had fried rice at. 11 out of 10. But wait; there's more. My wife had some kind of flat noodle with brown sauce and veggies. The texture was soft with a mild flavor. Not too strong or off putting. Just simple. There was only one server but the service was pleasant and kindly. If you enjoy less people around then this would be a great ambiance for you. Oh almost forgot! My iced Thai tea was fantastic. Very sweet though like a dessert so I had to sip it in stages but enjoyable.
