I went in to get my nails done by Hannah last week and did gel x with French and a design. It cost me $120 and after a few days the polish started chipping and broke. It was a shocker as the price was so expensive. I had my pedicure done with Nina, and the price was $90. She did it very quick and the she didn't tell me the price, which sucks as they overcharge so much. Other customers don't tip and the nail techs belittle them in their language. I couldn't enjoy my pedicure knowing they were speaking down on others. I grew up with a Vietnamese father and understand everything they said. I don't recommend coming to this nail salon if you're looking for a smooth mani pedi that is worth it. The store is also dirty and very unhygienic. The bathroom had a cockroach. I asked the other customers about their experience with waxing and they told me the wax room was dirty too, and they reused the paraffine wax on them. This is simply unacceptable. read more

I visited this salon for the first time and was seated for my pedicure pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The technician I had was very kind, and I decided to upgrade to the VIP pedicure. Everything was going well and felt relaxing at first, but things took a turn when she placed very hot stones directly on top of my feet they were uncomfortably hot and actually burned for a moment. I had to ask her to stop right away. I was also a bit disappointed because the VIP pedicure didn't seem to match what was described. I didn't receive the mud treatment, and the "10-minute massage" focused more on my calves than my feet. Overall, it wasn't the best experience, but I'm open to giving the salon another try just with a different technician next time. read more

If you wanna spend a fortune with hidden cost, this is the place to go After tip included a nail fill and pedicure ended up being $240 because the previous nail tech that did my nails didn't do them right according to the other lady that did my nails she stated that the Nails could've developed air and I could've got fungus. Pedicure was a joke. $75 later and an extra $15 which should've been included for a callus removal. The pedicure was supposed to have a 15 minute massage. Well that didn't happen. Three minutes was used to go get the hot towels in the little stones and another minute went to talking with other people what I recommend this place absolutely not.! Run Run Run! read more

Overall, I had a decent experience here. My nails and eyebrows came out nice and the service was fine, but nothing particularly stood out to me. I was satisfied with the end result, but I wouldn't say the experience was anything to write home about. Not bad by any means, just pretty average compared to other nail salons I've visited. Helen is the best. Has been doing my nails for 27 yrs. She is a perfectionist, Helen also does super nice designs. Free hand. my nails always look great. Tammy does my pedicure and she is super great at it. She has been doing my toes for over 20 yrs , she does a really good job and her foot massages are amazing. Stay as far away from this salon as you can! Extremely unprofessional and rude. I got a manicure and pedicure and the lady that was doing my pedicure burned me really badly with the hot towel. My skin was extremely red and burning, after speaking with the manager. She was extremely rude and started yelling at me! She told me that the burn was not really burning and it will go away. After I got burned, my experience became incredibly stressful as my leg was stinging the entire time. No apology from the nail tech nor the manager! Spend your money elsewhere! I'm very disappointed with the customer service I experienced here. I purchased an $80 gift card for my sister as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, I misplaced the gift card for a little over a year. I found it, so she went in to have her nails done, the establishment would not honor it. The gift card still had the same company name on it and did not have an expiration date, so I was very surprised that it was refused. What was especially upsetting was that my sister ended up having to pay for her own nails-something I had specifically purchased as a birthday gift for her. It was embarrassing and disappointing for both of us. I understand that businesses have policies, but when a gift card has no expiration date and clearly identifies the business, I believe there should be some effort to work with the customer, especially when the card was purchased with $80 of their money. This experience left me feeling the business did not value the customer relationship. Good customer service is about making customers feel valued, and unfortunately, that was not our experience. I hope management will reconsider how situations like this are handled in the future. Shame on you, Diva Nail Salon! May you someday get the karma you deserve. read more

Overpriced horrible pedicure, this last Sunday. The lady made me bleed profusely, now I have an infection see picture attached of infected toe along with the crappy paint job. I came here years ago and I loved it. I ended up moving so I haven't been here in years.. I don't know if management changed but I paid like 80$ for a simple set because I was so excited to have moved back to sj and I absolutely became disappointed. Just a LITTLE BIT over a week and my nails were coming off EASILY. I went back within 4 days of one coming off and they fixed it for free, then the next couple of days two came off. Mind you I paid 80$ for these. I don't know if there using cheap material but I'm so upset. The workers were also annoying and didn't stop TALKING the whole entire time I was getting my nails done. Before I use to be so relaxed here with calm music and now it's just horrible. I will not come back here again. When I told the lady about my other nails coming off she said "because they might be too long " like excuse me ? I been doing my nails for 10 years and honestly this is the shortest I've done them. She also offered to take them off for free (20$ service) but I would have to pay a full set again. Ya no thank you. Such a disappointment. Cheap material. And staff couldn't stop talking. read more

The location at Diva is really convenient for me cuz I can go grocery shopping next door after my appointment. They have brand new massage chairs for pedicures and Tammy does an excellent job every time I get a pedicure here. I refer all my friends and family to Helen & Tammy. read more

Today was my first time here and I'll be coming back because it's not only nice and clean inside, but also very sanitary. I'm used to other places using an old towel to rest your feet on but here, they use disposable bed pads that they can fold a few times to keep your feet dry instead of resting them on a soggy cold towel. I didn't have an appointment but was able to wait for about 20 minutes because they were very busy. Everyone was getting pedicures and no nails. For a Thursday afternoon, I thought it was a bit unusual. I got the regular pedicure for 35 dollars. Gel was an extra 15 so fifty bucks total besides the tip. My pedicure was really good and usually my feet are already dry again by now but they're nice and soft. They use good moisturizing cream and my tootsies are happy and look great. read more

Mia was my nail tech and she did a GREAT job. I was on a time crunch and had to go back to work and she made everything happen quick! & was very thorough with my nails as well! My nails were very brittle and Mia recommended to do a harder gel (I forgot the name) but she was very honest about how to make my nails grow back stronger and I love that!! The vibe was relaxing and there wasn't too much back chatter. Mia also did an amazing job waxing my arms and under arms she was quick and thorough. My only concern was how dirty the waxing room was. There was boxes everywhere and the floor was digusting. There was hair and other stuff on the floor. It was very dirty. Also my arm had small bumps in one area after the wax and it still has not gone away. I have a feeling the wax was sitting out for too long. I always get my arms waxed and this is the first time I had a rash like this. My body is very good with all waxes. My only recommendation for this place is: Please clean the waxing room and make sure your wax is new & clean. I would love to come back here and get waxed but the room was very dirty and I did not feel comfortable or safe being in that room. I will be coming back for my nails with MIA for sure!! read more

Very disappointed that I even have to write this updated review. *This updated review is solely for the experience my daughter had with Moon* To begin with, Moon contacted my daughter repeatedly the night before to tell her to "be early, appointment is at 9:30". We walked into our 9:30 appointments at 9:15 since the doors were already open. We were both immediately sat in pedicure chairs. My appointment started at exactly 9:30, everyone around us was getting serviced and yet my daughter continued to sit there with her feet in cold water. At 9:30 my daughter texted Moon asking where she was. Moon called her back and stated she was in traffic that was "going really slow." Understandable, as San Jose traffic can be tricky. And that she would arrive "soon". FINALLY, at 9:45 Moon strolled in. No apology, no acknowledgement that she was at fault for being late. She then proceeded to squeeze a 45 minute service into 20 mins. She rushed through every detail of my daughter's pedicure. In what took me 45 minutes to experience, my daughter was subjected to a speedy 20 min experience. As soon as her next appointment walked in, Moon's speed increased and she finished off my daughter's service and quickly turned her attention to the next client. Why is it my daughter's fault that Moon was late? Not fair that my daughter got the quick and speedy service (for the same price as the actual 45 minute procedure). No apology, no acknowledgement of wrong doing, when I asked Moon why she went so fast her reply was directed to my daughter "its ok babygirl, all done right, right?" Unfortunately, we will not be returning. This spot was one that we could rely on when we wanted services done closer to home, but now we will no longer be considering them. Which is a shame since all of our other experiences here have been top notch. read more
