I was looking around to get a specific kind of cookie for an activity at work and this location carried them! I was so happy when I was able to order what I needed and was able to pick it up right after. My order was ready within 15 minutes and picking up was a breeze. Since I didn't walk around the store much, I can't really say about the selection of items, but from what I can see - the aisles were neat and things were stocked. I did have to wait a little bit until a staff member was available, but overall - it was a quick and pleasant experience. I would def order online and come pick up again if I'm in need of anything. This location shares the parking lot with a Planet Fitness (right next door), Carl's Jr, and some chargers. I think the Tesla chargers are often busy, but the ones near Carl Jr's seems to have free spots sometimes. Parking can get tricky here, especially during the 4-6 hour. When it rains, there's also a huge pool of water in the middle parking spots and people tend to go the wrong way - be cautious when trying to find parking! read more

So I've been to this Walgreens a handful of times but only for the Pharmacy so this has nothing to do with the Walgreen section of the store although it's been very organized and clean, their parking lot is rather questionable. There are a lot of Bandon looking cars or RVs, where I pretty sure people are living out of them since the windows look boarded up or have trash bags with duct tape along the edges. Granted that has nothing to do with the store. It attracts a certain in clientele. I'm only giving three stars because the parking lot was also not lit which goes back to the owner of this plaza as well as the questionable cars that have moved in. Every time I've come to this particular pharmacy there's always been at least a 25 minute wait! The people seem very nice that are working behind the counter, but goodness!! This particular day, apparently my prescription was sent to a different pharmacy and I just got a text message from their app telling me to pick it up. I checked the app later and it was my fault, it does give the details of which location of Walgreens but since the last pick up I had was at this particular location I came here without checking the details on the text. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This Walgreens is definitely NOT "at the coner of Happy & Healthy." It's more like "at the corner of Discrimination & Harassment" at it's finest. I was at the checkstand (face mask on and at a respectful distance), the cashier had bagged up my items, and I was just about to pay for my items with card in hand. The cashier then commented on the cold medicine & cough drops I was purchasing. I explained to her that my family and I were sick with covid. As soon as I told her that, she made a super disgusted look at me, pulled my bagged up items from in front of me, slid them behind the counter, and said in a very rude manner, "you cannot be here, I have the right to refuse service to anyone, and you have to leave NOW!" I was in disbelief in what I was experiencing and explained to her that I have every right to be there to purchase cold medicine (from a PHARMACY STORE) for my families wellbeing. She proceeded to raise her voice and said that I needed to leave now and that I was being disrespectful. There was not a single point in our interaction where I was being disrespectful. I asked for the manager and her "manager" approached the checkout counter and proceeded to complete my transaction in lieu of the cashier that was telling me to leave. I found out later that the "manager" that helped me complete the transaction was NOT the manager. The cashier said it is Walgreens policy to kick out individuals that are sick. I discussed this with the general manager and all he had to say was, "I'm sorry, she is afraid to help anyone that is sick, you shouldn't of been told to leave." If you are going to stop every single person from entering your PHARMACY STORE that is sick, why don't you have signs posted? Why don't you have someone at the front door monitoring who enters the store? Why would you allow customers to enter, shop for 10 minutes, complete their shopping, but tell them last minute (literally as they are about to swipe their card), that they cannot purchase their scanned & bagged up items because they are sick? Makes no sense to me at all. I get that I am sick, but I am very well past the contagious stage, do not have a fever, not couguing, I'm masked up, kept my distance, and would have been out the door a lot faster if you allowed me to pay for the items you already had bagged up for me; instead of causing a big scene. My main issue was the fact that the line to pay took 30 mins and there was only 5 people in the whole store. It's ridiculous. Need to open 2 lanes if having one person work efficiently and quickly is an issue. It's also much bigger than the one on winchester and Hamilton so has a greater selection and more or everything. The canvas printer was broken at the Walgreens' near my house, so we had to make the slightly longer journey out to Payne & Saratoga. First impressions? Dayummm this Walgreens is small. And crowded. It's as if there was the same amount of merchandise in a normal Walgreens, but with half of the square footage. So everything is super cramped and crowded in. No Bueno. On top of that, even though my brother had received an email that the canvas was ready for pick-up... it was not ready and we had to wait like 35 minutes as they started on it. The line at the photo shop was long too with other unhappy customers who had also received news that there photos were ready. We were helped by Daniel, who it looks like is infamous on yelp! We didn't have a negative experience with him though - he was friendly and trying his best in an unfortunate situation. Overall: Avoid this Walgreens for the layout alone. It makes me claustrophobic shopping in here, and it is packed and not staffed accordingly. Also there photoshop needs to stop sending customers emails saying there photos are ready when they are not. We would have gladly come to pick them up later/the next day if they needed more time. read more

Chubby Bald white guy just lurking round the checkstand waiting to strike up a conversation with a woman in line. He periodically looks up, trying not to make eye contact to see how many more people have gotten in line- it doesn't matter, he ain't budging! then strolls out and blocks the exit to continue chewing the fat with gal, who works nearby. I usually love Walgreens, but this particular store...eh...not so much. I have a harder time finding certain items here; the layout of the store is a little funkier than other locations. It feels tight and cramped in there. The service is not up to par with other Walgreens I've visited. The employees seem to chat with each other too much, and they don't readily offer assistance as other stores do. I have to always ask for help even when employees pass me while I'm searching in an aisle. I only stop in when I have to because it's close to work. Hope they improve. It's defintiley an older store, as you can see from their exterior building. It's a bit older inside, but found what we needed in no time! Easy checkout process as well. I wish it were 24 hours like the one over on Winchester, because it's about two feet from my house and I'd like to stumble over some nights to grab some magazines and Sun Chips, or maybe some eyeliner and Nyquil. I've been to the pharmacy a few times, and once had a weird encounter with the pharmacist. My doctor, who is fully aware of my drug/food allergies, prescribed a painkiller with a structure similar to that of aspirin and naproxen, to which I am allergic. The pharmacist, before giving me my drugs, told me about a possible reaction (which my doctor already warned me about), then looked at me all suspicious. Because I decided to steal some papers and prescribe myself some Celebrex ? Sorry buddy, I'd be making up way better prescriptions if I had the opportunity. Minus a star for the cantankerous pill dispenser. Fortunately for me (everyone else who loves outrageous, what-the-hell-is-that? uber-kitschy merchandise) Walgreens carries and manufactures a vast amount of "personal massagers", infomercial-type products, and crossover products. For example: a box of "WOW! ONLY $2!" frozen treats that taste like Dr. Pepper but resemble an Otter Pop. WOW ! I bought three boxes. Walgreens gets one star back for those, and the large supply of Homies school supplies that I watched three kids discuss at great length. The prices on most of the beauty products, cosmetics, and over-the-counter medicines are usually a lot higher than the same products at Target. As a teacher with creative projects, I use Walgreens for their excellent photo center. Their website is easy to use, they always have good coupons, but best of all the crew at this Walgreens always has my orders printed, cut, and wrapped on time, which is usually within 12 hours! And the one time I had a small problem with an order, even though Walgreens wasn't at fault, the photo manager and store manager both went beyond expectations to make sure I was happy. Never go to this Walgreens. If you can go to the next closet one which is 1570 W Campbell Ave Campbell, CA 95008. They are never enough people working. They are rude and do not even know what is happening with the store sales or discounts. The pharmacy is good as long as you have an hour to spare. The pharmacy is super slow and realizes on their corporate to answer all the questions. They are uniformed and Unaware. It's a little bit of a drive to go to the other Walgreens but you will make up the time 100% of the time. I been here about 3 hours and had to go to by house to get papers because they do not know how to look up a patient. -5 stars, I will never come back here ever again. read more

This place is pretty busy! The employees are friendly and try to be helpful, however, this location is so small that I could hardly squeeze by another customer being helped by an employee. I'd rather go down the street to San Tomas Aquino&Campbell but I was in that area. There was quite a hefty line at check-out, I really just wanted to be in and out. It's nice that the cashier asks if you have a rewards card with them, normally I forget but you can punch in your phone number like at Safeway. Probably would have browsed more if it was less packed. FYI I went on a weekday evening. P.S. Parking lot is a little crazy, I barely made it by a car that was parked sticking halfway out of a parking spot. read more

I went into Walgreens, just to buy combs. The line was held up by a lady writing checks at snail's pace; when I thought she was done, she began writing a second, seemingly clueless of her surroundings. The cashier could not process the checks for whatever reason, so the manager moved both cashier and the lady to another register. Cause & effect: there were 2 cashiers and manager manning one of two registers. There were now 7 people in line at one register; I went from second in line to 6th in a new register because there was suddenly only one register open to handle several people while the checkwriter continued writing. There were now 2 cashiers and one manager helping one customer. Keep in mind that the vacating cashier paid no attention to me or the persons behind me, which should not have happened. Registers do not get abandoned during a rush. But I gave up and returned my items to the shelf when I saw the new line growing at new register. This is service in the modern era, low skills and short attention spans. Sidenote: I made it out to my car a few minutes later, and the checkwriter lady blocked me from exiting the parking lot, of course paying no attention to traffic. I drove across town to an empty CVS to buy, what?: combs. It was like a scene from Seinfeld...one I won't repeat. read more

This is a dumpy little store in a dumpy little strip center. They have only two registers in the checkout, and there's always a line when I go. It seems like every time I've been in this store something was going wrong. The last time I was there, their cash registers all went down. After waiting 10 minutes for them to find some way to take my money, I finally put my prospective purchases on the counter and left. I think you'll understand why that was my last visit to this particular Walgreens. I'll go out of my way to avoid it from now on. read more
