Unhappy? Grumpy? Hoping to spread the bad mood? This is the place. We booked a wedding party, told them how many and were assured they had enough people to do it. Yet they did not. The woman was extremely displeased that we were a few minutes late (which we apologized for) and because they were understaffed she kept running back and forth from one person's pedicure to my manicure to another person, etc. There was no relaxation, no sense of welcome, no sense of happiness that we had chosen their business for our pre-wedding prep. Our bride and party were the most laid-back people on the planet so there was no attitude from us. My manicure was not shaped well and the polish was slap-dashed. I didn't see her washing her hands between. I have a fabulous nail salon at home and those women have taught me how customers should be treated. The only reason we came was because the hair salon next door recommended them. They should have warned us about the attitude or sent us some place else. D Nails is the best place to go in Gulf Breeze/surrounding areas. There's almost always a wait so appointments are probably best, but it's completely worth the wait. I had my nails done horribly elsewhere and Victor worked on my nails vigorously until they were perfect. No excess acrylic on the side in my nails, the shape is perfect and the design is awesome! Definitely recommended for any kind of service, especially funky designs! read more

Every time I've gone to other places I've been disappointed until I found D Nails. I'm literally never going back there again. The first guy that started on me took literally 10 minutes per nail JUST TO CHISEL THE GEL OFF. I asked him why it was going so slow and he said "because the nail will get hot." Like what? Then he switched with another lady thank god and she wasn't much better Couldn't understand what shape I wanted even though it was the same as what I already had. Then she put my repair on crooked!!! I told her to fix it and she did but how do they think that's acceptable? Oh and they don't have wine. Only coke products. What kind of nail salon doesn't have wine?? The only good thing is it wasn't that expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. 2 hours to get two repairs and a color change. read more

Horrible service, so I go in the nail salon at about 12pm and as I walked in the door they asked what I want to do and I tell them and there response was "we don't have time " they were not busy it was mid day and I saw a couple of employees in the back hanging out, I felt completely insulted. I recently moved across country to Florida, and I decided to try out this nail salon fairly close to my home. The girl who did my nails at first was such a sweetheart, and that's the only reason I'm giving more than one star. I was charged over $60 for a full set of acrylic nails. That's not a big deal, and I'd have been happy, if the nails would've lasted. Within two days, one of the nails fell off. Didn't break. Fell off. As if not enough adhesive was used, or they didn't buff the nail before applying it. I called and they fixed it no problem or charge! Awesome. Until I looked at the thumb nail she fixed. It was almost an entire inch longer than the rest of the set and it wasn't even the same shape... I had rounded nails, this was almost point and very lopsided. Then, I got in the car on the way home and a second nail fell off. I immediately called them to make ANOTHER appointment, taking more time out of my week to fix that one. The man answered the phone, said "come in tomorrow" after I explained, and hung up on me. No apology. No goodbye. As if this was my fault. I would've even let that go, but after I went back in to get that nail fixed and was leaving he yelled at me out the door "we are charging you next time!" I understand even that. It takes time to fix their mistake, and I even would have let all of this go. As soon as I left the parking lot after getting the second nail fixed, a third one fell off. There was no flipping way I was making a third appointment in the first four days of having this set and paying more money to fix this. I waited about 3 more days and 5 of the 10 nails either fell off or broke in half within a week. ONE week. I ended up taking off the $60+ set on the 8th day because it looked so awful. VERY HAPPY! Andy gave me a pedi and a shellac mani today-excellent job! I was so happy, as most nail salons around here don't listen to what my preferences are, but Andy did. My nails are square and the french part wasn't too thin (a lot of places do the white so thin that you have to come back in a week almost), the pedi was great-massage and all :) French on toes was just like nails-not too thick or thin Everyone was friendly and I am really happy! I scheduled my appointment for Saturday at 9:00 because they tend to be busy later in the day. I made this appointment two weeks prior, when I arrived they were moving slow like I wasn't expected, victor started on my nails and when another person arrived he gave me to a different worker. I made my appointment with him and he pushed me off on another worker to get started on a walk-in when I was there first. The lady he pushed me off on didn't shape my nails right I asked for coffin I left with crooked nails each nail shaped different even the gel polish was sticky NOT acceptable will NOT be returning save your time and money. read more

So disappointing! I have been here a couple of times and had good service by Hannah but brought my daughter to have her nails done today and not only did they call us to change her appointment for 2 hours later but when we got there they said it would be 30 more minutes and when we got back they said it would be another 40 minutes. No one cared about customer service or the fact that we were put out by the experience. What a shame. Won't be back. The manager Victor, seems to think he is something special and I guess they have so much in and out customers that regulars aren't important to them. read more

My fill didn't even last a week. 3 of my nails broke and I did less work with my hands in that week than I normally do.

The lack of good communication skills, bad attitude and speaking bad about the client in their language made me write this review. They forgot that there are people that speak more than one language. I don't recommend this place for poor customer service and definetely not coming back. read more

Good color selection for dipping powder nails, however in two days nails started to peel off. Sister did full set and 1 week in with the dipping powder her nails broke. This has never happened before and it was clearly done poorly. They always seem to be busy but doesnt seem to be the case once u get there even if they say they are fully booked. They are friendly, but we wont be returning. read more

Have been coming here for awhile with my mom and we both love it! They are super clean, friendly and do an amazing job. The one thing that really sold me on continuing to come was that the tools come out of an individually sealed wrapper for each person instead of being cleaned in a UV light like in the mall. I have had acrylics and regular nails done and I have loved every job (mani's and pedi's). I will continue to come back as long as I live here!!! read more

Paid $65 for dip manicure & cuticle care. Dip popped off forefinger & thumb had large chip within 2 days. Called for repair. Male employee made an appt at end of day for repair. Gentlemen was rude & impatient & the repair experience was very unpleasant. 3 days after this repair another dip polish "popped" off another nail. Called & the same gentleman was so aggressively unpleasant I decided I didn't really feel comfortable having him work on my nails at all. When I asked if it was a failing of the product or the technique that was at fault, he insisted it was something I must have done knocking my nails around. Really?! I have had dip manicures for quite a while now. I get them because they are so strong. If they were easily knocked off & popped off, I wouldn't pay this kind of money for them. Sometimes it is costly to find out who to avoid. I strongly recommend looking somewhere other than D nails. read more

absolutely awful I pay for a pedicure a few days ago there now polish chipped off I go in to have them fix it and they charge me $10 to fix the polish after I got a pedicure with it a few days when their sign says 10 day warranty but in the small print underneath this is only if you pay for a gel. Every other nail salon does not charge you to fix their mess ups within a few days. While I waited for 30 minutes she never once told me that she was gonna charge me $10 she made me believe that she was going to fix it since I paid for the pedicure. We will never return. What a disappointment shitty customer service. I did tell the staff before I came in that I just had a pedicure done a few days ago and I did call before i came in and I got loud when I was leaving because you're trying to charge me and told me because I did not get a gel I had to pay $10 and there were a lot of people there who heard me so I DID make it loud and clear I just had a pedi and she said "no gel you pay"!! read more

Went in yesterday to get a full set done, a lady started but half way through a guy took over and finished, but he told me that the powder he was using was for designs and that I picked out the wrong one, I didn't pick it out the girl that started it was the one that picked it out. Well 2 1/2 hours later they finished. When I woke up this morning 3 nails was missing and the others peeled off like old cheap nail polish. Went back this morning and he asked what happened and if I could come back later. I stated I didn't have the time and I would like a refund, he gave me a refund now off to find a legitimate nail salon. read more

If I could rate this experience less than One star I would. This place is terrible. I came in yesterday and victor(manager) was my technician. I needed a refill and I had a light pink powder on and I wanted a dark blue. Any salon I went to, if you have a light color they can put a darker color on top because it will cover the one before. I asked him to do that and he argued with me and said he can't do that because there's 2 different colors(pink under and blue over top). I told him I didn't care about the 2 colors to just refill my nails with blue powder. He still didn't wanna do what I asked, which is horrible customer service. I'm not picky so I didn't care about the 2 colors and it would've been a lot faster for him if he did what I asked. He kept telling me I needed the same pink because that's what I had on and if I did 2 colors, it would be ugly. I didn't want that. So after arguing with him for 20 minutes, I gave in and he completely took off my nails and did a full set. 4 of my fingers were not even with my other hand and I asked him politely to shorten them and he huffed and puffed and said they're even but I'll do it anyway and make them uneven for you. After that he did everything very sloppy and very fast like he didn't care anymore. He is very rude and for a manger, this is unacceptable!!!! I will never come here again!! read more
