Just got my nails done here for the first time. I didn't catch my nail techs name, but she was pretty good. I usually go out to a different place in Oak Lawn, but didn't feel like making the half hour drive today. My nails turned out nice, but she was a little rough with filer and caught me on every finger. I didn't bleed or anything, but to catch me on every finger. I really liked this place at first and I thought that I found my new nail salon after moving to Orland Park. They took their time on my nails and they actually looked pretty nice. I got an acrylic fill with a no chip manicure. A week later my no chip is peeling off my acrylic nails. I have literally never had this happen to me with acrylics. I really wish my no chip stayed on because other than that I loved the manicure. But the most important part is my nails looking nice after the manicure so I will not be back. Such mixed feelings about this place. First time I went the quality of my no chip was great! I just went this past Sunday to get another no chip, and 2 days later my purple color has a brownish/greenish tint to it. Every time I come in, I get the same thing. Fill in acrylic, shape change and gel polish. Every time it's a different price. Today I had a scheduled appt for 12pm, had work at 1pm and was not seated until 1230pm. WARNING- THEY CHARGE YOU $10 FOR BRINGING YOUR OWN POLISH!!!! Never going back. I am in town for weekend and decided to treat myself to a mani and pedi. And I looked this place up on yelp and chose to try based on reviews. I got here about 10 mins early and there were a few people waiting for me. When the techs arrived, everyone went in. I was maybe the 5th person to enter. They asked everyone what they wanted and seated everyone. A tech came over to with her tools and another woman made her to do a set of nails for a person who came in after me. Then another tech brought her tools and the same woman told her to go do a set of nails for another person the came after me. So now out of everyone sitting getting pedicure. I am the only one that is not being serviced. I kindly dried my feet and walked out. The woman that is calling the shots asked if I was ok. I just left instead of letting her know how unprofessional they were. I will never spend my money where I an disrespected and looked over. Ever. The first pedicure I had here was pretty good, other than the technician pointing out all the dead skin she scraped from my foot. I didn't know foot-shaming was a thing - but nevertheless I was shamed and it didn't feel great. But anyway, the nails turned out pretty well and as a mother of three young kids I don't have much pride to start with, so no harm no foul. The second time I went in, I got a very sloppy pedicure done. The nail polish was applied WAY too thickly. I sat under the dryer for about 30 minutes and still managed to ruin the polish on my big toe just by putting on a sandal. I pointed it out to one of the technicians and rather than re-doing it, she just smoothed the divot out and then piled more polish on top of it. So that never dried either and eventually it got smashed about 2 hours later. I ended up removing it at home and re-applying a polish that I had that was mostly the same color. Mostly. Also during that last visit I noticed several technicians openly ridiculing one of their customers who was very obviously ignoring her children. Again, as a parent of three children, I will never blame anyone for ignoring their kids for 1/2 hour so they can get a mani/pedi - but regardless, I think it's bad form for a business to ridicule its customers, just as a general rule. (Basic Manicure/Pedicure) 5 Stars because I have been to a lot of different nail salons and this one is by far my favorite, at least for now, they will be tough to beat. All the stations were clean and the massage chairs are newer and more comfortable than most chairs I've sat in at any other salon. I didn't make an appointment (I'm terrible for that), but they kindly took me right away. All the girls working seemed very kind from what I observed. I felt very comfortable at this salon, even the other patrons were nice. My nail technician, Angela, was genial and delivered the best pedicure and manicure, to date. She introduced me to their rewards program, which was very informative; not many salons that I have been to have one. Also, she's done what no other technician has ever done and asked me if I'd like to pay BEFORE my manicure [in my opinion, that was pure genius to ask me that, because I always manage to botch up my fingernails taking my wallet out of my purse ( -_-) and I'm usually too ashamed to say a word]. I'll definitely be making an appointment to see her again! They have a lot of polish colors available! I was able to find a color that matched my Bridesmaid's dress almost perfectly! Great service at an unbeatable price will be what brings me back to this salon anytime I need my nails touched up. I was very impressed, and I am looking forward to my next visit. Went here 10 days ago with a friend for a no chip manicure. We both needed no chip removal. They were very busy, but took us both without hesitation. I got the acetone and tin foil, and my tech walked away to do a pedicure.....pretty soon, my fingertips were HOT, so another tech came and scraped my stuff off. I decided to get a French manicure since I really didn't like their color selection. Now, a third tech started working on my nails. She got a little over aggressive with the snipping. The second tech filed my nails too short. My friend had 2 techs work on her nails and she was done like 30 minutes before me, and we started at the same exact time. That could explain why 5 of her nails peeled off after FOUR days! She was completely disgusted and just peeled the rest off. I can't complain about my nails, and I couldn't peel them off if I tried. They were applied correctly. So overall, the place was not super clean, I did not like having three different techs work on my nails, and my friend got a really crappy manicure. They do however have a punch card....8 manicures and you get a free pedicure I think. I probably won't be going back though. Still searching for the perfect nail salon. read more

He looks around, talks to his coworkers in Chinese, then looks back at me and says "it's going to be a long wait" and they can't take me. What kind of service is that? I did not have a good experience my first time here. They had a new girl work on my nails and she obviously did not know what she was doing because she did a big nick in my nails till I was continuously bleeding. So the manager Tina came to work on my nails instead and you would think she would just charge me have price but she still charged me the whole price for my nails.
