Love this nail salon. My no chip always lasts over two weeks and the staff is so friendly. I have been coming here since they opened (and even before that, when they had a different owner). They also have remodeled the space which is nice. I made appointments for 4 people the day before my wedding and when we walked in they took us right away and got started. I am really hesitant to give my review. This spot is a hidden treasure and for selfish reasons I'd like to keep it to myself, but here goes. I get no chip manicures and have been doing it for about 4 years so I know what is good. They do a good job here, I have always been satisfied and I have been there 5 times now. The best part is the people are nice and easy to talk to. They have always cared for me in a timely fashion. Sure the chairs and desks are not brand new and fancy, but they work just fine. The shop may not be as new and pretty as some I have visited in the past, but that isn't important at all. The skill and the care and the welcome feeling are so much more important. I went to Diva Nails & Spa last night. I researched a few hours for nails spas in Tinley Park. I am happy that I chose Diva Nails and Spa. I had a no chip manicure and a regular pedicure. My services were provided by Amy. I was in 7th heaven when I got my pedicure and she did an excellent job on my manicure. All the staff was friendly, but I will definitely make my appointments with Amy. I also took my son. I did not get the name of the young lady that serviced him, but she also provided excellent service. She inquired about things she observed during his manicure and pedicure and told him what she was doing to alleviate the problem. She was very friendly and made jokes to my son about getting sparkling polish like me. I would let her work on me if Amy is not available. I highly recommend Diva Nails & Spa. read more

I got a full set of acrylics this morning! I set up an appointment at 11 and was out by 11:50. I do not know the name of the nail tech that did my nails, as he was not talkative, but he did a good job. I prefer to be left alone when I get my nails done so this did not bother me at all. The nails are done with tips and it is more of an acrylic overlay rather than a sculpted nail with an arch, but for $25, it's a good job! He did them the exact shape and length that I asked for. My cuticles were not pushed back, which concerns me in terms of the longevity of the nails, but I push my own cuticles back often so I figured he noticed and did not push them back since they are mostly taken care of. He did not push extra services or products on me, which I always appreciate. Overall, my nails look great and I would definitely recommend this salon. I'm in Tinley Park for business and badly needed a gel manicure. I looked up Diva Nails and went there based on the mostly good reviews. I had an excellent gel manicure with Angela. She was sweet, efficient, professional and very engaging. The place is in a small strip mall and doesn't have great curb appeal and the inside isn't anything special--just a good old fashioned functioning nail salon. I came here for the first time with my mother last week Monday for a pedicure & for a no chip with two of my fingers having acrylics on it because they had broken off before I started getting my nails professionally done so I wanted them to grow out. Then lady who soaked my nails for removal seemed hesitant when she couldn't get one of the acrylics off, so another female tech (who I believe is the owner) got up from servicing another Cx and had to buff the nail for it to be removed. After that I was told to go to my original tech & I asked her to shape my nails to coffin shape. She didn't understand so I showed her a picture. She started filing my nails but it was obvious that she didn't know how to because one of my nails were filed in a weird shape so once again the other tech asks me to come to her so she could properly file my nails to the coffin shape. While she was filing my nails she had my tech watch. I was told to go back to my tech. While they kept passing me back & forth my mother asked me if they knew what they were doing. I said I hope so. I noticed my tech started putting a top coat on my nails instead of a base coat, then she put the gel layer, and then she added the color. I had never seen it done in that order. When my nails were done I thought it looked professional so I tipped very well but when I left I noticed they felt so soft & bendable as if I had soaked them in water for a long time. I thought that would go away but then two days later one of my nails split. (mind you I wasn't being rough with my hands) then the next day another nail split. I bought nail glue so the nail wouldn't completeIy break-off. I went back to the shop on Friday to tell the lady that they somehow weakened my nails and the tech didn't know what she was doing. The owner stated it was because my nails were long. I showed her how bendable my nails were and told her that when I first came to her shop my nails were longer before she filed it and I didn't have issues with my natural nails cracking or bending when I had gels done in previous shops & my nails were never this fragile until I came to her shop. She stated that she would have to charge me to redo the nails that were cracked. She would not listen to anything I was saying even tho she was very aware that she passed mer back & forth b/w her & the inexperienced tech. Then on Saturday my third nail split. All of the splits are close to the beginning of my fingertips. So in less than a week I've had several issues with my nails ever since I stepped in this shop. My mom of course told me "I told you they didn't know what they were doing" I will not be returning. I figured out why my nails were weakened and breaking after I went to this nail shop. The whole time my tech was doing my pedicure she had my nails wrapped in Acetone & foil paper. (About 40mins) and this is why my nails were so fragile. Four of my natural nails have broken off. read more

Got acrylic nails and I was not impressed. Could barely do a simple leaf design I wanted for fall. Three different techs worked on me making me feel very strange. Angela and her whole staff here are wonderful. I usually get a non-chip manicure with a spa pedicure. My no chip always lasts about three weeks (even though you really should get them done every two weeks because they start to break/get weak in the third week). I came to Diva Nails & Spa because I was tired of booking an appointment somewhere else and either having to wait longer than 15 minutes after the appointment time to get my services I booked for or being given to a complete stranger to have my services done even though I booked my appointment with the nail tech whom I preferred. I don't like being barked at to "choose a color" and "sit down" when I'm treating myself to a manicure. Not very "spa"-like. The station was pretty dirty so I didn't feel comfortable having them use the equipment which was just sitting there unsanitized. Normally, the equipment is in a sterilizing liquid or oven. I decided to bypass on a service. The woman who seemed like she was manager was the one barking yet the person who was going to do my nails seemed nice. read more

First I will say the salon was clean. But I didn't receive a warm welcome when i walked in. For a first time customer it's so important to feel welcomed if I going to be spending my money. I received no chip nail polish that chipped within 3 days! The tech seemed annoyed. I paid to have my eyebrows shaped and they were hacked! My eyebrows look terrible so I will be wearing my glasses until they grow back in. Will not be returning. read more

I moved here recently from out of state so finding a good nail salon was important for me. Based on reviews, I tried this place out. I absolutely love it. They take their time doing your nails and compared to many nail salons I have been in this place is pretty "hip". Their customer service is great and the people are pretty friendly. The salon is clean and very welcoming. If you come on a non-busy time they take a little extra time on your nails and foot/leg massage.
