Everytime I come here I'm treated like royalty, Linor makes me a latte and I already know a lot of the customers because they have also been coming here for many years. Everyone is so nice. Had an appointment at 2:30 with Avner, he made me sit and watch him cut 5 people's hair until 3:45 just to tell me he can't do anything to help me with what we had discussed doing to my hair, then he aggressively and rudely kicked me out of his shop. Coming from a licensed barber who owns multiple barbershops in the valley, I can also tell you this is some of the most low quality fades and haircuts I've ever seen. On top of the fact that he does not disinfect the clippers/trimmers and even saw him drop a comb onto the dirty floor just to pick it up and continue brushing a customer's hair with it. They do not use Barbicide and rush everyone in and out of the shop at their convenience just so long as they get their money. Being in the beauty industry myself I have never seen a more low quality salon both aesthetically and as far as customer service goes. Furthermore, they say disrespectful things about people I'm Hebrew (thinking others won't know) while working on customers. If I could give this place and my experience there zero stars I would. Avoid this salon and specific hairstylist AVNER at all costs. He will only waste your time and money. read more

This review is for Avi my stylist ! I'm a loyal fan of his amazing work , I have visited him three times already for hair extensions . Also just made an appointment for my fourth ! His work is amazing and he is passionate about hair , which is clear to see when you meet him. He follows a process when he installs the hair that clearly provides amazing results. I took three visits to finally write a review because I have faith in him. I have had so many bad experiences with stylists that he is the only one I ve ever returned to . I use the copper tube method with Avi and with proper care I ve had awesome results ! Avi has his own booth a the charming diva salon , he always offers beverages and his station is neat and nice. I have blonde hair with some lowlights , I buy my hair at the hairshop , I tell them Avi name and get 15%discount . My hair is medium fine and 13 inches long but shorter on the sides I. Usually get three to four bundles of 18 inch hair . All of the times I've been to Avi he takes his time to put the extensions in carefully and tactfully and never puts to many in , he Always states his goal is to achieve natural looking long lush hair. Which he has every time ! The whole process is about 3 to 4 hours and he charges me 300 flat for everything including blending the hair and he always will cut my natural hair and my request and he gives my hair a treatment before he puts the extensions in . In the world of Los Angeles ripoffs and bad stylists Avi stands out as a skilled and honest stylist who is amazing. I should have written this months ago, but better late than never! I have wanted a Brazilian Blowout for quite some time. I did a couple of discount blowouts on Living Social and Groupon and was not terribly pleased w the results, so I decided that I needed to just plop down the cash and go all in for real. My regular hairdresser has curly hair and she doesn't do the process herself but we've talked about it and I asked her if she could recommend anyone. Her sister (also a curly girl) goes to Avi and if Avi is good enough for a hairdresser's sister, he's gotta be good enough for me! I called for the appointment and got one pretty quickly back in mid-Jan. We talked about what I'd tried in the past and he told me that I would love it and it would look really good in about a month. Avi said to come back in a few days and they would wash and blow out my hair to make sure everything was good. So, I left there with stick straight hair. I wasn't sure that I wanted my hair so straight and had a brief moment of regret. Brief. Very brief. It was weird looking in the mirror w such straight hair. I went back a few days later, Avner washed my hair and did the blowout. The blowout was like 5 minutes of him running his fingers thru my hair and after that, using a brush to turn the ends under slightly. That was it! I was done in like 10 minutes! They said it would last about 6 or 7 months. I'm at the 5 month mark and I can probably go another month or so, but I don't like the semi frizzy roots that I've got going on, but I love the way my hair looks. I'm going schedule an appointment for the next week or 2. I got my hair cut and colored a few days after that and I really loved how my hair looked! I have said it many times since I had the process done that I FINALLY have the hair that I always wanted! And it's cut a RIDICULOUS amount of time off of getting ready! I can just brush my hair and go - no wetting and blowing it out or anything. It's amazing. Cannot wait to go back and do it all over again (except the fumes...that kind of sucks, but you get a mask, but still it's the small price to pay for being happy w your hair!). read more

i recently visited Avi @ Diva Hair Salon about 3 weeks ago. I have curly hair kinky frizzy and always gets knotted. i was hopeless..... i would wake up every morning not knowing what to do with my hair and never have time to fix it for the long days ahead of me . Avi has been coloring cutting and styling my hair for 3 years by the way. He has always wanted me to get the Brazilian Straitening Treatment he offers. I always blew him off telling him it will never work . He finally convinced me to go for it. I came for the appointment a little worried not gonna lie. he sat me down explained to me step by step what he is going to do to my hair.
