Being a first time customer and running late, I was hoping not to get the bums rush on that afternoon. I was greeted by the receptionist as I came in and immediately brought to the sink to get washed. The wash seats are really comfortable recliners allowing customers to relax while getting washed. My wash was more like a message. I was then introduced to Ly who would be my "Stylist" that day. I was surprised that I was given to Ly because just days before he had been the stylist that was putting color and all kinds of aluminum foil on my wife'st head. Every alarm went off in my body. I just needed a simple men's haircut that shouldn't require the work of a stylist". Inside I frantically began to worry how this day was going turn out and once Ly started, I became even more confused. Rather than using a buzzer as I am accustomed to, he was using only Scissors with the precision of a surgeon. I became so engrossed watching him at work in the mirror that I lost sight of the fact that he was working on my head. Although his next appointment was waiting, he still took his time to ask me what I wanted and made some suggestions. Not only was my haircut awesome but, at the end, Ly got out shaving cream and cleaned up my neckline and sideburns with a straight razor. What a great experience, brought me back to the old days when I'd get a haircut with my dad. Ly may be a great stylist with women but he is also a great barber. If you want an old world real quality haircut and shave, Ly is your man. The experience made me feel young again (and look good too!). Thanks Ly for a great haircut!

The brows came out decent, but she did some waxing and cutting, which I hadn't asked for, now one tail is shorter than the other and thinner.. there goes months of growing. To make things worse, I ended up with a burn! I wasn't going to pay $175 for this, so I went back and asked for a refund for the lashes at least. It's a real shame because the place was great with Brittany and Luciana. I wouldn't be surprised if they left because they weren't treated well and made their own business. The girl who worked on me even mentioned she only had THREE MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE, which really showed. Brazilian Beauty shouldn't advertise services they're not qualified to provide. I said I wanted long layers and only 1 and 1/4 inch cut. I ended up with more than 14 inches cut off and short layers. I measured it and on the shortest layer she cut off 14 inches! My hair looks like a mullet and is going to take years to grow back. Not only that but the layers that were cut were not the same on both sides, one side is 2 inches longer than the other, all together a disaster of a haircut that looks like diy haircut that a 4 year old did. Does not understand the concept of long layers and blending and actually making your hair even.Will not be returning ever and will be hiding for more than three years till it grows back. Extremely disappointed and depressed over this.

The staff here are very friendly and always greeted me whenever I walk in. The wait is never too long and usually, I'll get a seat immediately as a walk in. I read a lot of reviews and I agree that it is a bit unsanitary-- the staff don't wash their hands before threading your brows nor do they use gloves. The thread can also be a bit dusty since it just sits there on the table. However I never had any issues with my face breaking out, but that is also because my skin doesn't really break out. I went a few days ago because my eyebrows were a bit uneven in length and one brow is also higher than the other brow. I grew out my eyebrows so that the lady can reshape it so that it is more even. I informed the lady about my eyebrow situation and she assured me that she can fix it. Although she made the eyebrows more even in length, one eyebrow is still higher than the other. Although it's pretty cheap getting your eyebrows threaded at this place, I think it's also time for me to tryout other places too.
