For my 40th Birthday, I booked DivVine Wine Tours and it was an amazing experience. First, the booking was easy and Amy was super responsive. We had some last minute additions and she was very accommodating and efficient. Once we were picked up by our driver, Natalie, we were on our way. She was timely and communicated with me ahead of time. Additionally, she was accommodating to my demanding group who needed temperatures adjusted (this was early August) and music selections (she asked if anyone had a playlist). All of the vineyards were immaculate. The last vineyard had not updated their records to reflect our late additions, but that was not on DiVine. Pictures were taken, Natalie engaged without being creepy and communicated throughout the tour. I honestly cannot wait to do this again. read more

We had a fabulous time on our Wine Tour with DiVine Wine Tours this weekend ! I found DiVine Wine Tours online when planning my sister's Bachelorette weekend getaway in Leesburg. Booking the tour was easy, I did it all on their webpage. Communication prior to event with DiVine staff member Amy was clear and concise. I was confident in the plan , the lunch orders, the schedule etc. I love how the tour made the day easy and relaxing for us! Melissa picked us up promptly at our AirBnb Cottage. Our first stop was Zephaniah Winery. It is a sweet and gorgeous family operated business. The family is super friendly and amazing! We adored talking to Bonnie! She shared about the history and also we admired her colorful flowers she has planted all around. The wines at Zephaniah were exquisite! Our second stop was Williams Gap Vineyards. I learned about Divine Wine through a friend who had previously done a tour with them. The whole process was an incredibly accommodating and customized experience for a bachelorette weekend I planned. From start to finish, the communication was timely, clear, and helpful. I was overwhelmed with logistics, and Elaina was so understanding and helpful with planning. The actual tour was so good. We did a 2-stop trip, and asked for the day to be slightly shortened. Our guide (Natalie) and the different wineries were very helpful and tried to keep to our schedule as best as possible, even as we in the party lost track of time. Both times, Katie led us through a three winery tour. In addition to just being the nicest person, she is very knowledgeable and helpful! Ten friends and I had an amazing time on a tour with Divine Wine for my 50th birthday celebration. The whole experience was top rate from start to finish. Amy was super helpful in making all the arrangements. I looked at other companies that were no more than transportation, but Amy helped me pick out the perfect wineries to visit based on what I was looking for and made all the reservations. And the lunch and waters that they provided were great. The wineries were excellent choices because we visited Williams Gap, which was a more formal indoor experience and then we went to 868 Estates (my favorite) which was a much more informal outdoor experience. Our tour guide, Dana, was freaking fantastic!!! She fit right in with the 10 of us and was so much fun. We even ended up asking her to join in with some of the pictures we were taking. It is a really nice bonus that Dana was taking group photos so we weren't constantly having to ask people to take our picture or always having someone not in the picture. We recently came to town for a college football game, and decided to do a wine tour during our stay. Our tour guide, Phil, picked us up at our hotel in downtown DC and drove us to 3 different wineries in Loudoun County. Our favorite was Fleetwood Farm Winery, which served an amazing selection of wine along with a delicious charcuterie. We had a great day with Tammy. She kept us on schedule and brought us to 3 different wineries: one was an old dairy farm that started to make wine, one older winery with a really cute barn, one newer winery with a more modern touch. All had excellent wines. I have been to Sonoma and can say the wine here was surprisingly great! Tammy was great with getting us to each winery on time and had plenty of water for us. The van was extremely clean and we had Bluetooth to connect our phone. I would absolutely recommend booking with these guys, they know what they are doing. Tastings were included in price and tables were available as soon as we walked in. Way easier than booking tastings yourself! The chicken salad sandwich was so good and smart to eat at the first stop! Lastly, we though photos were just unnecessary but so glad we had her there to take them for us! I had the pleasure of experiencing an entire day guided by Divine Wine Tours (10/10/20). It was for my girlfriends birthday. We were a total of 4 invited as her guest by her lovely daughters. Although we knew we were gong to a winery my girlfriend had no clue on how her daughter's planned her big day. All she was told that morning was "your ride will be here at 11:00am". The moment we were told that our driver had arrived we were like gleaming school girls going to our prom. We were picked up in a White Chevy Suburban. That is when we met Bernie. His gracious spirit made us feel as though he was one of the family. He treated us all as if we were special Queen's. We didn't have a clue of how the day was going to turn out or what our next step was going to be. Bernie however put all that to ease for us. He displayed nothing but joy whether standing in line for our lunch, pouring our wine, taking photos of us, or letting us know how to get a view of the magical mountains that surrounded us. The experience was amazing and Bernie played a special Birthday song for my girlfriend as we were heading back home. For us, the trip was 1hour and 15minutes but we enjoyed ourself so much neither going or returning felt like we were in the SUV that long. This is a great gift for a birthday, bachelorette, engagement or friends just getting together. What could be better than indulging and not having to worry about you being the designated driver. Divine Wine Tours is amazing! I went on a tour last weekend for a friend's bachelorette party and we had an incredible day. For everything that you get out of the tour, I think it's a great price. Bob picked us up promptly from bride's house and proved to be a friendly and funny jack of all trades; telling us about the wineries, taking some great pictures, and most importantly chauffeuring us around so no one had to worry about driving. He got some great group shots for us and it was nice to not be worrying about dragging cameras around with us all day. We went to North Gate, Doukenie, and Breaux. It was a great mix of wineries from self-sustaining (the only one in VA!) to a larger winery that's obviously popular with families. North Gate and Doukenie were the group favorites because we had such knowledgeable folks leading our tastings. Each one had beautiful views though and the wines were fantastic. It was one of the most enjoyable, relaxing days. I can't wait to head back and check out a few more wineries that we passed during the day and will definitely be keeping Divine Wine Tours in mind; especially when out of town guests are visiting! read more

A few months ago, my husband found a deal on Travelzoo for a wine tour. As our anniversary is coming up in September, I thought this would be a fun surprise for him. I am a pretty detailed person and almost 100% of the time check reviews before going with a company. I am glad I did because the tour company with Travelzoo had horrible reviews. But I still wanted to do a tour, thus began my search for tour companies. There aren't a ton in the VA area, most were limo companies and didn't offer scheduled tours. I contacted a few which included Divine Wine Tours of Virginia. I was immediately impressed with Divine Wine Tours of Virginia. Why? I received a response from Dave immediately...I like prompt responses! I ask a lot of questions, Dave answered everyone immediately. I like answers! I was honest and told Dave that we were comparing other tours and would make a decision in the next few days. To my surprise (and which I liked), there was not hard sales pitch on why I should pick them. And to be honest, their website and my communications with Dave spoke volumes as to why they were the better choice. The Tour We arrived at the destination and was promptly greeted by Dave. It was us and another couple, who were very friendly. Since it was just the 4 of us, we actually were able to get started a little early. As he was driving, Dave gave us information on how they got started (which he said normally his wife Candy does the driving and he talks -or vice versa, so he did good performing double duty!) On the way to each winery he also gave us background information on the winery. At the 2nd winery we had our catered lunch from Dolce Veloce. We had a chicken panini with roasted red pepper and spinach, pasta with pineapples and walnuts, cookie, apple and chips. My husband is a picky eater so I thought "he is not going to eat this", he loved it! The food was delicious! We were so full from the sandwich, made it thru half the pasta and didn't make it to the cookies or apple! We may make a trip there just to have lunch one day! We stayed on a schedule, which was the perfect amount of time at each winery....enough time to taste, tour the barrel room or vineyard and relax. I felt it was the perfect amount of time where you didn't feel like it wasn't enough or it was to long and were ready to go. This was the best tour! The wineries were great. Our favorite was Zephaniah. The owners were so friendly and the wine was great, we brought home 3 bottles! Divine Wine Tours of VA I highly recommend.
