YOU FAILED MY DOG ZEUS AND MY FAMILY!!! I brought my dog to your clinic because he was limping and you mis diagnosed him with a pinched nerve in his neck. I brought him back a day later and requested you do x-rays as I found your diagnosis to be suspect. You prescribed multiple medications that were not compatible and made him very sick We only found this out after driving him to an emergency vet in Las Vegas. I met with the vet in your office and she showed me the x-rays and gave her opinion stating how good everything looked. I again had a bad feeling and requested those x-rays be sent to a radiologist for a professional review. You did not call us with the details of that report only stating that he had mild arthritis in that leg. We only saw and had the full report shared with us at the ER in Vegas. Zeus had an untreatable skeletal issue in that elbow, a high fever and there was nothing that could be done. I had to make the correct but terrible decision that day to put him down and end his suffering. My dog Zeus suffered terribly the last days due to your incompetence. He was sick from your toxic medication mixture and scared as he was driven 3 hours to the ER in Vegas. Zeus was a proud, loyal, protective, and loving member of my family. More than once Zeus alerted my family to potential danger in our home. You took from him the opportunity for a dignified passing at home with his family with minimal suffering. Shameful incompetence. If you love your K9 family member DONT bring them to this clinic. It will take us some time to process all of this and our grief and sadness. You should not be able to just move on and bill the the next incompetent diagnosis. For now all we have is Bad Karma for you. read more

Dixie Vet Clinic Bans Dog Owners from viewing their Dogs shots. And the question remains: HOW DOES ANY CUSTOMER OF DIXIE VET CLINIC KNOW IF THEIR DOG IS GETTING THE SHOTS THEY ARE PAYING FOR IF DIXIE VET CLINIC BANS VIEWING SHOTS??????? AND WHAT WOULD BE THE PURPOSE??????? I have never been to a previous vet that refused to let me witness my dog's shots. I went to get my dog's parvo shot and the clinic refused to let me witness the shot. They claimed they take her to a special treatment area where no one is allowed except staff. And then told me if I wanted to pay for a doctors visit, which is presumably hundreds more, she could be seen in a exam room. But that my dog could not get her shot witnessed in that exam room with the tech otherwise. This makes no sense and worries me that something is VERY WRONG here. I filed a complaint with the state licensing board and the investigator told me it would be reviewed and that he has never ever been denied being with his dogs when getting shots and said it did not sound right. I called the first vet clinic I googled in St, George (Washington Family Vet Clinic) and they told me this does not sound right and they always allow owners in with their pets when getting shots. This thing stinks to high heavens people!!!!!! WE ALL NEED TO DEMAND A CHANGE OF POLICY TO CREATE TRANSPARENCY. THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE KNOWS THEIR PETS ARE GETTING THE SHOTS THEY ARE PAYING FOR!!!!!! Craig Brinkerhoff is an outstanding pillar to this community and a highly respected Veterinarian due the fact he genuinely cares for animals and their wellbeing. I have always been impressed with the professionalism his staff conducts themselves and the kindness they show my 13 year old Shih Tzu. This all changed today due to one disrespectful and quite ignorant Tech working the front desk while the other Techs were at lunch. I have been taking my Shih Tzu to Dixie Vet Clinic since he was a puppy along with multiple other pets myself and my son have had through the years. In saying this Im curious when it became okay for an unprofessional tech ( most likely newhire) to speak for the entire staff of Dixie Vet Clinic talking to a lifetime customer with such an insulting and rude attitude and refusing to even consider helping an elderly dog when all he required was a single vaccination shot . which would have taken 5 minutes or less and prevented any more painful damage to his feet due to constantly biting and chewing them until he could barely walk. I am very angry and disappointed that I was talked to so rudely by a Tech who obviously has no compassion for the animals which she takes care of daily and her employment at Dixie Vet Clinic should reconsidered for the sake of our pets. read more

This is the ONLY vet I use. They are friendly and helpful and always there when they are needed. I use this office regularly. Dr Brinkerhoff is Always happy and very pleasant to be around. He is very up front and tells you what is going on . It may not be what you wwant to hear but it also isnt candy coated.. VERY fair priced and always gets you if when needed. I have used him also for major emergencies and he was very good with our horses. He can be reached at home after hours for his clients. he is alwaays available for foaling season. I LOVE this office and will Use them as long as I live here in the valley. Very highly recomended!!!!! read more

We toke our 8 yr. old Isabella to have her teeth cleaned, nails done, and rabies shot done today. It was our first time to this clinic and the people where great and friendly. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions. They let us know about any extra cost so there were no surprises. She was ready when they said. To our surprise and amazement she ate her dry dog food with no problems within an hour and half of getting home. What a trooper she is. We would recommend this clinic to everyone. First time visit.We were so nervous after all we been breeding French Bulldogs for over 5 years and had some terrible experience but not here we walked into a soothing facility with a great staff. Dr.Colton Gust contacted us regarding the C-Section he was performing on our baby. He called to inform us surgery was a success and she had six beautiful puppies they were all in recovery. brought my cat in last yr. to have toe nails clipped and shots .. my cat was 13-14 yrs old whe I picked her up she stopped eating for 2 weeks I brough5 her back and vet gave her a shot . ca5 died 2 weeks later. it wasn't dr brinkerhoff people said sh3 shouldn't have been given all shots at once.. she had s(it's from Washington vet clin8c 3 yrs earlier when 7 adopted her.. Love the new office first off. There are very few people in this world I trust my dogs with, the staff and Dr's are among those people. They came to me highly recommended and I highly recommend them. Dr. Colton Gust and Chris were amazing! It was time to let our 18 year-old Lab mix go. Dr. Gust was the kindest and tenderest with our Lady-girl and with us as a family. Dr. Brinkerhoff is the most down-to-earth, nicest most sympathetic veterinarian that you could ever want. The staff is great. I recently had to make a decision to euthanize a 5 month old kitten and it was absolutely heartbreaking.
