Brought a small kids backpack In twice for same issue that he didn't fix the first go. 2nd time still didn't fix the zipper asked for a refund for a job he didn't do. It was my first time going to repair my Valentinos. I wanted to support local business, but I am so disappointed. He did a nice job on heel tip replacement, but tips were provided, and it was a pretty easy replacement. The toe box tip, he just applied a piece of leather and painted it dark brown. It would have looked more decent if he had just left it light. When pointed out the unevenness of the new tip, he said to try it out and bring it back if I'm not happy. I will probably go to someone else to fix it. He also left some glue on the shoe, so overall work feels sloppy. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this business. read more

He doesn't deserve a star. I dropped off my classic valentinos and Gucci rain boots. He asked for a lot of money said he would take care of my shoes. He did a decent job on the valentinos still didn't clean them 100% he did not touch my Gucci rain boots at all didn't clean the sole nor the boots and didn't touch up the scratches he said he would. DO NOT GO BY HIM. It's like I gave my money out for free. Horrible service don't go here. He took my money without doing anything. Thief. read more

You know when you love a pair of shoes and don't want to get rid of them, but you've just beaten them up a bit? That was the case with the boots and the pumps I brought here. Since the reason for one star was a communication issue, not a skill level issue, I decided to give it a try, because it is very close to my place. He did an excellent job! He had done a good job in the past. But this time was the worst! I asked to add a 1/2 lift to a shoe. He just took off the sole and put on another sole. And charged $40. If he would have add the 1/2 lift to the shoe as he has done in the past. It would be fine. He did not. Do not go to him!!! read more

I have been bringing my shoes, handbags, etc. to this repair for several years and I have to say that I am VERY pleased with service I receive!! My items are ALWAYS ready for pick up when told they will be ready, the owner/wife are very polite people, I am charged a very reasonable price for all of my repairs. I am a very satisfied customer of this establishment, so much that I even offer the owner a tip for his services! And only accepts it when I am persistent about him accepting it. The only downfall is that they're hours are 9:30 am - 4:30 pm which is not conducive to my work hours so I have to drop off/pick up on Saturdays. Will continue to have him do all of my repairs in the future!!!!! read more
