The only shop in NYC dedicated to repairing Technics DJ turntables. They also repair all sorts of other professional audio gear as well. Super friendly and professional. After repairing a vintage turntable of mine, there were still issues with it, and they took it back in and spent a long time trouble shooting and repairing it at no extra charge. DJFix is an authorized repair center for Studiologic products, so I dropped off my keyboard to have a wonky LCD display replaced. They are extremely busy, but were very accurate about the amount of time it would take to complete the job. The website also has a client portal that allows you to follow the progress of the repairs which is great, and they are also very responsive when called. After the repair, the display was now working correctly, but when I brought it home, I discovered that two of the keys were making an extremely loud clicking noise. They took it right back and found something had come loose. This was repaired within a day, and the keys were now silent, but the next two keys were now rattling. This wasn't nearly as loud as the original issue, so I thought I would just live with it since I really needed my keys for some upcoming gigs. When they heard about the ongoing problems, they were upset that I did not get back a 100% working keyboard and insisted that I bring it back in for another look. They fixed the problem within a day, and now I have a fully functioning keyboard. I get it, things happen, that's life, but I truly appreciated the effort they put in to ensure my complete satisfaction. Their honesty and integrity speak volumes about the company. I highly recommend their services and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. read more

Not long ago I brought my turntable in for a LONG list of repairs. This Tech 1200 was in ROUGH shape after decades of deejaying, battling, live events, and general bashment. The shop received me warmly and took time to walk through and set up the repairs. I felt totally comfortable leaving this equipment in their hands to bring back to life. Many replacement parts were in stock and there was no added wait there. They had experience repairing one of the more troubling issues. I thought for sure the deck was a gonner. But no, it could and would be fixed. The team at DJfix got this device turned around in a little over a week. I have never experienced this turntable working so well - its insane. I was referred to this local repair shop by a fellow DJ who had his Technics 1200s serviced here recently. I brought mine in a few weeks ago as I've been having some connection and tracking issues with vinyl and Serato. Jon did a great job of cleaning and servicing my beloved 1200s, which are now running like new after he replaced a damaged tonearm and RCA cables. Prices are fair and service was fast, Jon even tried to save me money by fixing the tonearm before determining it needed to be fully replaced due to damaged ball bearings. Took my Technics 1200 to DJ fix, i've been using them for 25 years and they had been moved around a lot from one country to another. It was definitely time for a check up.
