With a family of five to feed, DJ's burgers caught our eye thanks to their family deal, four hamburger meals at a great price. perfect for a weeknight "no one is cooking" moment. we rolled through the drive-thru and were met with genuinely warm service. the cashier was so sweet, patient, and welcoming, exactly the kind of energy you hope for at a neighborhood mom-and-pop spot. the burgers were solid and the fries were good, classic, comforting, no-frills done right. but my favorite part? the pepperoncinis. I love when places include those little extras that add a kick. it's such a small thing, but it made me smile and definitely elevated the meal. DJ's has that authentic, community-rooted feel, and we love supporting local family restaurants. we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

The restaurant is under new management and now called LoveEat Burgers. Typical diner very friendly service. Food was very good. Restaurant and Restrooms were clean. It's one of the few restaurants in town. Really glad we got to stop there to regroup and enjoy lunch. Highly recommended. Excellent food. Excellent service. Service is great but the food is atrocious. I've been trying to give this place a chance for about two years now but the food just seems to be getting worse every time. So just my curiosity, but when did they ask for payment over the phone and repeat your information loudly back to you? When I ordered I was asked if I could pay over the phone, caught me a bit odd but I did. When I went in to pick up my order I asked why was I asked to pay over the phone and why was my information being repeated loudly back to me, girl at the counter said because large orders must pay over the phone first before even being started . I can understand why on a part, but how do I know my information isn't written down behind the counter? When asked they couldn't give an answer . Today April 12 2023 my boyfriend and I went to eat breakfast to this disgusting restaurant. He ordered French Toast for me. Since I did not finish the breakfast I asked my boyfriend to asked for a box to put the food inside the box and then I looked at the plate and I noticed a worm in the food, as soon as I did I went straight to the restroom to vomit. My boyfriend told one of the employees to be careful in what they serving to people and they just glanced at the plate and didn't say anything apologize or nothing. Tonight we ordered the 3 pork chop dinner, comes with salad or soup, we got salad with ranch, it also comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and a veggie side. Let's start from the beginning: I order a crispy chicken sandwich with no mayo the first time. I got extra mayo on both sides and it was literally two chicken tenders on a bun. I tried to patronize with the local restaurants. Now I am definitely going to drive into town for fast food. This place is horribly overpriced and not good quality. I ordered a hamburger special with withered lettuce and an old tomato I don't know what kind of beef they're using. The prices do not match the quality. And forgot to mention, they gave me a Belgian waffle with barbecue sauce in the cup instead of syrup. It would be so nice if we had a quality place to go here in Lake Los Angeles. When I moved to this area about a year ago DJ's was the best restaurant in town. I mean no matter what you order on the menu everything was amazing. Now within the last 4months or so their food and customer service has been horrible. I dont know if they switched ownership or maybe all the great employees went to the new location. They changed to the cheap type of meat that was used in the salads and sandwiches and it shows. Last time I order food using the drive thru the employee forgot to give me the other part of my order. When I sat there waiting she opens up the window and said "what" instead of anything else I can help you with. When I told her that she forgot the other part of my order she very rudely handed it to me and closed the window. No sorry or nothing. So now I rather drive the 20min or so into town to get food instead of having to deal with them again. read more
