I come here often, because it is only 5 minutes away from where I live. My first time I wasn't really sure if I was going to be satisfied, but as soon as I took my first bite I knew this was going to be a good place. Now I often come here with my siblings and mom, sometimes my friends as well. We've never had any kind of problem with our food. This is the go-to greasy spoon my husband I hit up almost weekly when we get tired of cooking, or forget to take the chicken out to thaw. Great place for "fast" food, especially a classic cheeseburger. The prices, speed of service, and consistency of quality keep me coming back, even on brief visits "back home" after having moved out of state. Their drive-thru is not the fastest, but they do seem to be working on the exterior features to make it more accessible and comfortable to be in while you wait. read more

This place sucks. Ordered a double cheeseburger combo, cashier repeated it back to me perfectly. Got my hamburger with no fries...ask him where my price of my caramel were and was told that I didn't purchase a combo... which in truth I had not been charged for it. however, they did give me a cup to go with the combo because I verbally ordered the combo. after my burger I was so hungry because I didn't have any fries so I order two tacos. 17 minutes after ordering two tacos I had to go up to the cash register and ask where my tacos were... Holy hell they had forgot about me surprise surprise. On top of that there's trash everywhere, the floors missing tiles and there is a serious fly problem. This place licks goat ass... As a Lake Los Angeles local.... I'm extremely disappointed in this place. I would come here often for the convenience, as it's quite literally the ONLY drive through out here (that I'm aware of, as of this date) but even that isn't enough to convince me to come back anymore. I enjoyed the variety that this place offered and the quickness at which they cranked out meals. The meals oftentimes felt overpriced but like everything else in Lake L.A. you can pay the convenience fee or drive your happy ass somewhere else. Idk if there's been a change of staff or something but the food is heartless. I used to enjoy coming here because I found the food tasty, that is no longer the case. The last 5 times I came, I ordered different meals and every meal sucked for a different reason (INCONSISTENT AF), but make no mistake, the food sucked. I ordered the Burger Box with the fries and hard shell taco, not only was the taco in a regular tortilla (not a hard shell) it was soggy/greasy, and the meat was pink. Unfortunately I discovered this a little too late (75% into the taco), and now I've been throwing up all day. I'm convinced it was that piece of shit taco. The burger was lackluster and the fries were bland and limp, probably like the person who cooked them. I guess I should give a genuine thanks where a genuine thanks is due. I'm cooking at home more now and it's because this place is god awful. So thank you DJ's, your terrible food has convinced me to make a positive life change and that's always a good thing. read more

Terrible experience on drive thru, drove from Adelanto because my wife is pregnant and was craving DJ's Burgers. As soon as I pulled up to the drive thru speaker we weren't greeted and the person speaking was rushing me through my order, extremely horrible tone and attitude. Ended up not even purchasing our meal, we had to resort to the taco stand around the corner. I asked for the girls name and with a tone and attitude she responded with Vanessa. Apparently this place used to be called "Lake LA Burger" and everybody hated it. I don't know, I usually just drive through Lake LA because it doesn't seem to have a lot to offer. But today as I approached Ave. O, I looked to the left, and saw a building that didn't appear to be vacant, or dilapidated. With a big vacant lot to park my rig in! Awesome, because I was howngry. Parked with plenty of room for my truck-and-trailer, and walked into a clean restaurant with at least 7 or 8 "Restrooms for Customers Only" signs posted. Used the restroom and washed my hands in what was surprisingly a clean bathroom, that even smelled OK. Walked back to the counter knowing I was going to order a burger. But I damn near memorized the menu waiting for some Tweeker Chick with pink hair to figure out how to order food. (I thought tweekers didn't eat?) Anyway, I got the Double Bacon Cheeseburger combo, paid, got a drink, and sat down in a booth. Girl at the counter was friendly, especially after dealing with the undesirable "work of art" in line ahead of me. As I sat, it became obvious as to why there were so many "Restroom for Customers only" signs. Because there is a lot of Riff-Raff coming in and out, and lurking about the parking lot, and adjacent businesses. It was rather entertaining to watch. A Man encrusted in dirt, snuck up on an white Old Lady he knew in line, hugged her from the back, and when she turned around to see who it was, he said "What you got on my burger?" She responded with (I kid you not) "Oh no you didnt! Shoot, Boy, you always broke." She bought his meal anyways. It was comedy. My Burger came out pretty quick, and what I really liked, is that all the burger extras (pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce) were on the side of the burger, allowing me the discretion to add or not add them to my burger. I don't care for tomato on my burgers, but everything else and half the lettuce went on it. The Double Bacon Cheeseburger is HUGE! It was tasty with the right amount of char on it. Only two slices of thin-bacon though. Whatever, it was GOOD! Love the Thousand Island Dressing in it. Great texture too! The Fries are thick-cut processed potatoes, but they make them right here! Tasty and cooked well, these fries stood out to me, especially while they were still hot. Bonus! They have your standard fountain drinks as refill yourself. But they ALSO have Horchata, Tamarindo, and Jamaica as refillable right next to the fountain. They also have Orange Juice a la "Orange Julius" right there with it. I love the options. Slammed my face and left, stuffed and near comatose. I stumbled out of there, got in my truck, and was tempted to take a nap. But I just kept it moving. After having horrible experiences with this place and not eating here for a few months, I recently went and had a breakfast burrito with a friend and it was so good. So this morning my husband and I got food to go since my last experience was good, what a mistake!!! I ordered a breakfast burrito, the hash browns are burnt and taste disgusting!! There is hardly any cheese and the egg is way over cooked as well. It's a shame there is no consistency because this place has the potential to be a really good tasting place! I enjoyed this place when it was Burger Basket. I freaked out when I came to visit my parents and it changed names. Everyone said they kept the menu for the most part. I've been to the new Littlerock location twice. Both times I ordered the fish and chips combo. The first time it was beautiful. The fish was two large triangle shaped portions, perfectly breaded and fried. The second time I was highly disappointed. Went to new store in Littlerock Ca. Ordered the veggie burrito. It was good for a bean burrito with avacado, but it didn't have any veggies. Next time I went in I asked why didn't the veggie burrito have veggies she went to ask the manager. Neither her nor the manager made a point of coming out to talk to me. Then I ordered the garden burger meal which the fries were decent, but the burger was ok. Mostly disappointed with lack of veggies in veggie burrito, and customer service. read more

I finally found this place!! This restaurant is a clean restaurant, has a lot of good seatings. It lacks of parking lot at times, however it has a drive-thru. The people here are so nice and welcoming, always attentive to your order. Their meat and chicken hamburgers, salads, and fries are amazing! Their hamburgers are huge!! I give it a 4 out of 5 because the food is usually a 8 out of 10 and the waitresses are on their a game but the only fall back is because of the cook. He always takes stuff personal. Theres been 2 major times my order was messed up yet he exploded and made every excuse in the book. I even went as far as offering to just pay for items that would fix the problem so that I could eat finally but of course eating how I wanted to was an insult to his cooking and he didn't hold back. I wasn't too sure about trying this place based on other reviews but after trying for myself it has been a great choice. Their food is good and prices are reasonable. Manager/owner is incredibly rude and combative. I asked the cashier about a special they had written on the Chalkboard which she said they still had than my receipt showed a different price so I asked her about it and she went in the back and came back and said that's right and tried moving on to the next customer. I asked for my money back. The owner came out to refund it and didn't even acknowledge my presence. Didn't say hi, ask what the problem was nothing!! Than decided to call me a liar on social media because I said I didn't have a good experience. The foods hit or miss. Same with the service. There's one girl that's great but sometimes I think they forget about certain things on the orders. Everyone will have their food and be almost finished before the last plate makes its rounds. If it ever does. A friend ordered a hotdog and was done eating before they told her they ran out and someone went to buy some. Went for the first time with my lady, had a GREAT breakfast burrito, the sausage burrito + bacon + tomato(CHEAT MEAL!). I use lots of salsa, but the bites without salsa were good, without salsa. My lady is a picky eater & she had a burnt bite (it happens, everywhere), & she didn't mind it much. Food came fast, good service. Service was responsive also. As it goes, those with negative responsive maybe got the new cooks, I believe, or bad cooks. Happens everywhere. Be understanding, or be rude as you are. DINO(owner), you should maybe taste test all your cook's food. Multiple times of the week. B/c my gf swore to this place. Some reviews don't support, maybe her & I got lucky. God bless, best of luck.
