    On Sunday March 2nd around noon, I got a call from my wife because she went to Shine Car Wash (Now…read moreunder RaceWay Express) located at 1530 W. Pleasant Run Rd, Lancaster, TX 75146, to have her car washed because that's where our Membership has been the last 3 years. This particular day she was in line behind a black Dodge Ram (pictured in the photos) and for some reason the car wash operator did not check and or make the driver remove all of the items from his truck bed. I've been using this place a for a while and it is their policy that ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED FROM YOUR TRUCK BED, but for some reason the Dodge Ram driver was allowed to go thru the wash tunnel with items still in his truck bed. Once he went in and the wash began, the moving parts from the car wash connected with one of the metal items left in his bed (picture included of items) and was thrown back at my wife's car causing a significant amount of damage. You can see in the pictures the damage that was caused, what you can't see is that the windshield is busted down the side under the trim that was broken. What makes this incident even worse is that when I arrived to speak to the manager (that goes by the name J.C) that was on duty at the time of the incident, he wouldn't even come out the building because he said "he was on lunch break" so he sent someone else out that wasn't even on duty at the time of the incident. This entire incident was COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE if the Car Wash Operator would've followed policy and made the other driver clear his truck bed

    I like this car wash because it isn't packed and has good vacuums. It is in a little ducked off…read morearea off beltline in Desoto and is gated . There is usually no wait or small wait times. Checkout is smooth and they have an attendant that will guide you in the wash. Pretty spot free so it does its job all the way down to the basic wash . They have a detail area where they house interior spray, rags, and window spray . A quick and easy experience every time I visit .

I clarified and pointed out I go through other car washes all the time without any issues. Then they simply refused to address the claim with no explanation. Definitely avoid these guys.
