Idk if he was the manager or owner but he was so incredibly rude to my family and I. He kept trying to rush us saying things like "well do you know what you're want I don't really have time" and waving his hands in the air saying "ugh you guys are killing me" after we told him we were ordering at the register (because he was telling us he didn't have time to take our order). When my mother went to order at the counter he ripped the menu out of her hand and continued to cut her off saying "are you done yet?" Multiple times. This was my first time here and I am very confidently going to say I will never come back. read more

We visited this restaurant for the first time today. Most of the tables are high tops, but they did have a couple standard height tables in the very back. We have a wheelchair user in our family, so standard tables are an absolute must for us. With the limited number, you might have trouble finding a place to sit if you need a low table. It is quite loud and difficult to have a conversation, I would not go here if you are looking to catch up with family or friends. It's a nice place with polite staff though. No complaints about the service. The food was fine, but I would not call it the best pizza ever. Kids will like it and it's great for a family night out. Order everything right away and you will be good to go. read more

Nice patio and bar area and the people were genuinely nice. However, the wings are not good. After about a 40 min wait, they came out room temperature. The drink I ordered showed up wrong too and it was just tea. The service is slow. I'll add that the prices weren't bad. I may try a pizza sometime, but never the wings again. read more

I give this place 3.5 stars. The service was the best part of dining here. Our server was amazing! The food wasn't top notch. No hot drinks including coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The breadsticks and pizza were good. The best thing we got was the bone in wings. Oven baked goodness! Just wished they had some house made sauces and dressings to go with them. Nice upgrade to the building, excellent service, and very good quality control. Dan and his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome when you visit. I have been ordering from Dan's shops since the 80's and still haven't found better hot subs and sandwiches from a pizza shop. Great bread with ample portions for a really reasonable price! We eat at DJ's at least once a month. I am from the east coast and have eaten all the best thin pizza there is (NYC are your ears ringing? ) but for Hudsonville MI this us damn good pie. Best pizza I've ever had. I've moved away from my hometown of Hudsonville, but I have yet to find a pizza that compares. Along with the amazing food comes great service, the owner Dan is outstanding. You can tell he truly loves what he does. There is a lot of heart and soul in this place. When I come back to Hudsonville to visit, this place is a must! The employees here are nice, the venue is comfortable, and the food is decent; however, don't come if you're in a rush. We waited an hour and a half for our food to come out, and the waiters never came over to our table to see if we needed drink refills. It wasn't even a full house. Although, they did give us a discount on our food because of the wait, which was nice. read more

Dj's pizza is the best place to get pizza in Hudsonville. Slices are served all day and are the best pizza in town. They also have a large pepperoni pizza for $5 if you want that. Located right in Hudsonville Plaza it is easy to find right off of Chicago Dr. After your pizza I reccomend heading accross the plaza for a cup of coffee at Mocha-N-Music. read more

This pizza is by far the best in town. I always order 'extra sauce' because it tastes so good. The service is always friendly and "laid-back." Giving you that "comfort" feel. I have always liked the pizza at DJ's so a friend of mine and I wanted to check out the pub side for a change from our regular hang out. Huge mistake! It was in the middle of the afternoon there were 3 regular customers sitting at the bar just down from us. We were invisible to the staff. Tried to have a conversation a couple of times with them but they had no interest. Sat for 5-6 minutes with our glasses empty. Now I've been in the industry for years and the best way to make new customers into regular customers is give them great service and good drinks and make them feel welcome. Don't Ignore Them!!! I'd tell you they were but they didn't bother introducing themselves to us. It was a real struggle leaving them 10%. We always tip better the the average customer. I know how important the gratuity is in that line of work. Never going back there again. read more

I only received delivery from DJ's once and it was the night I moved to Hudsonville from Chicago. It was the only option I could quickly find online and I ordered a Chicago Deep Dish pizza with mushroom, onion and green pepper. When the pizza arrived, it wasn't completely cooked all the way - but it wasn't bad, just not the best. The flavoring was a little bitter but again, not the worst. Just not someplace I would choose to go if there are other pizza establishments in town. The person I spoke with on the phone when ordering did mention that he was short staffed that evening so that could have been the reason for the lack luster pizza. First off the food is great here. However, in the last few months we have dined in and gotten take out a few times. The dine in experiance requires a lot of patience. While everyone greats you quickly and with smiles, it takes between 40-60 to get your order served at the table. DJ's doesn't appear to be understaffed but it feels like they are. Getting the waitress to return often for drink refills or just to update on your order is something the wait staff just doesn't have time to do. As for take out, lately, you will be told one time over the phone, say 15 min. When you arrive 20 min later, they tell you your order will be another 10-15 min. This last time, our breadsticks and chicken wings were sitting waiting for us. The Greek salad was not ready. After a 15 min wait, the salad was finally ready. However, the breadsticks were cold by this time. Plus, after arriving at home we discovered the Greek salad was a combination of a Cesar salad and a Greek salad but wasn't really either one. They did offer to make a new one but at this point it's been an hour and a half since the order has been placed, we didn't get to eat our meal as a family, and everything that should have been warm, was now extra cold. DJ's is a staple in the Comunity but other businesses are moving in and looking to make a name for themselves. If DJ's doesn't figure something out soon, their reputation and potentially their business will suffer. read more

Dj's is a great little pizza place in hudsonville. I love their pepperoni pizza's and bread sticks. They also have subs. They offer a great value on pizza. The seating inside is kinda lame. I don't go there for the atmosphere i go for the good pizza. read more

The pizza is OK but the made to order stuff is never made to order. If you order a made to order pizza, they never have it ready, especially the ham.... There is too long of a wait... I love that I can walk in and grab a variety of pizzas to go home with me right away. The ham pizza is our favorite and at under $10 is a bargain for the quality of pizza do you get. They just opened up a restaurant that serves alcohol to the side so you can bet I'll be heading over there to try that next! read more
